JMAC Plumbing & Air Conditioning

Came out to fix water heater stated they charged $105 per hour. Came out and gave price as $1600. Okd it, but when asked price of the water heater itself they could not or would not tell me. They also did not offer a city permit to install WH. Looked on line. It was about $750 for tank and install kit. Leaving $850 for a 2 hour job that is 4 times the hourly rate.

Found another company did it for $1100 and gave me price of water heater at about $800. Also got the permit. In times that are tough $500 savings is a lot. Get a few bids. The below post by Steve is incorrect they never told me any of that when I asked for a break down.

I telephoned JMAC to report an employee driving recklessly in NE Las Vegas and after pressing #5 for "SAFETY", I was directed to leave a voicemail. I'm sure this is unreasonable but I don't want to play phone tag all day. 12:15 pm today I was on Nellis, turned LEFT onto Carey, an older residential neighborhood with lots of kids in the street. A JMAC vehicle, license plate 859 --- followed me very closely, tailgating aggressively.

After about 3 minutes, I pulled into a dirt road so Mr. Tailgating JMAC driver could pass me. I was doing 40 in a 25 mph zone (trying to get out of his way!) and Mr. JMAC driver passed me and sped up to at least 50mph. He approached the STOP SIGN at Carey/Sloan, driver did not diminish his speed, completely went thru the STOP SIGN, and he turned left at SLOAN/JUDSON where he ignored another STOP SIGN.

I guess I could thank JMAC and their death-wishing driver for making sure Nevada's insurance rates are the third highest in the country, I wish I could say I have confidence in their ability to do the job responsibly but based on Mr. JMAC driver and his FLAGRANT disregard of traffic laws, I'd give this one a VERY WIDE PASS. Shame on you!

They told me free estimate over phone. Came out and he knew the problem and said he would have to charge more if he had to connect any pipes which he wrote in his report that he did but he didn't touch the pipes my wife actually reconnected them as we had to disconnect the day before due to the clogged sink and let out the water. Charges were 25$ to use the snake which is the only thing needed. 59$ trip charge which was confusing and 105$ for an hour charge but he was only here for 35 minutes.

Overall I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. As they are not very clear on phone about estimates and also 190$ charge for using snake which we already knew was the issue. Thanks for coming out but way overpriced and not worth the amount for a clogged drain. Which was an easy fix

I had an emergency plumbing issue a few months ago (burst pipe) and JMAC plumbing completed the repair on a Sunday night at 10P. I was very impressed with their service and professionalism. As such, when I needed a couple of old hose bibs replaced, I called JMAC Today, their technician Ben came out and completed the work and again my experience was excellent. Great company, fair prices, honest and professional technicians like Ben. Will definitely use JMAC again.

We buy the spring and fall AC/heater checks to proactively maintain our system. They initiate the scheduling for these services, call before arriving and show up on time. Brian came today and was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

Truly professional job. On site, on time, on quote. They found the leak in my supply line, trenched a new run, installed the new line the same day. You can see in the picture, you can not tell they were there.

We just moved into a new house and I had a broken valve in a poorly installed supply box for our washing machine. I gave JMAC a call and Kriste in the office was fantastic and got me scheduled promptly for next day service. Ben was my plumber for this job and he was fantastic. He was right on time and his work was efficient and clean. He went the extra mile to even make sure he made the sheetrock cut easy to patch and made sure I could get the washer back in place.

I will always use JMAC for any plumbing needs and highly recommend requesting Ben, though I have used there services a couple of times now and everyone I have worked with from JMAC has been exceptional. Great work guys!

UNBELIEVABLE!.for two weeks drip drip drip after every shower. For two weeks we had a parade of builders, reps u name it they we're here telling me they had to tear up my new house to find it then JMAC showed up and after listening for only seconds to the drip drip drip sound jmacs plumber DARREN said u don't have a leak.? For two weeks I have been listening to it I almost threw him out!

I had six people in my home ready to toss him out. hi said the sound you hear is expansion and contraction of your water service pipes in your attic.say what? He said and I will prove it. First he put my home on a pressure test proving I have no pressure leak. Then he said it's not a drain issue cause it's leaking in the ceiling.when you shower you use hot and cold allowing hot line to expand then as it cools it contracts and us either strapped to tight or not strapped tight enough and makes a dripping sound.huh! Now the proof he said. He just runs cold water through the shower and no dripping sound.just unbelievable people were gonna tear up the house JMAC FOLKS! JUST AWSOME

JMAC to the rescue! My water heater valve failed this morning which caused a fairly good sized mess and they were here in no time. Darren was honest, prompt and did great work! He did not at all do a hard push for the water heater replacement as many companies do these days. It will be time to replace it soon and I will definitely be going back to JMAC!

Repaired a faulty brand new tub diverter which was leaking in the wall. Tech identified the issue, resolved it and went above and beyond by helping me pull up the wet carpet in the adjoining room. Job well done!

JMAC was upfront about the repairs I needed done. There was a fee for an employee to come to my home and do the assessment of the repair. The employee asked if I had interest in doing the repair myself being that the valve replacement was so easy. He explained what needed to be done and reminded me that it would be significantly expensive to pay him to do it rather than doing it myself.

The repair was simple after I understood what needed to be done I really respect a company that considers the customers cost for value. Would highly suggest using JMAC for any hvac/plumbing needs.

This is my third occasion using JMAC Plumbing & Air. They were highly recommended to me, and I understand why. They are very conscientious, and will explain thoroughly what the issue is and what they can do about it. I have had two air-conditioning problems and one major plumbing problem. They are fair in their pricing. I will not hesitate to call them with any future issues I may have.

Nick and Randy came into our property after several failed attempts to fix our a/c. They were kind, courteous, and most importantly - efficient. Our refrigerant had a leak, the wiring was messed up, and there were all sorts of issues but these guys fixed them all within just a couple hours. Thank you guys a lot!

Very disappointed. this group gets all the work for American West homes and unfortunately they rest on their laurels with this huge given business. They installed my water heater incorrectly, which ultimately led to a leak in my garage. the home was only 2 months out of warranty and American West stated that they would cover it if JMAC acknowledged the faulty install. JMAC refused to even come to my home without me paying them. Really terrible service. I ended up paying another plumber to fix it as I refused to pay JMAC money to fix something that was their fault in the first place.

These guys save my butt! Had a water leak happen the week of thanksgiving. They were already slammed but they scrambled and were still able to fit me in the next day! Reasonably priced, very willing, and helpful.

There plumbers are not Commission plumbers! Meaning their paycheck doesn't depend on the amount of the invoice. These guys pay the plumbers hourly so they don't sell you stuff u don't need

We had a main water line break and called JMAC. Darren came out and checked everything out and found that the leak was under the driveway. While he was there he also fixed to slow sinks and leaking water faucet out back. He came back with a helper Ben and they both worked so very hard to dig alongside the driveway and battle the many large tree roots.

By the end of the day our new line was in the meter was no longer turning and I was very HAPPY! They cleaned up and made it look like nothing was done. JMAC is the company I will be calling for any future plumbing problems and will refer. Can't go wrong with them!

By far THE best AC company in town. My AC went out when it was over 100 degrees outside and they came out right away to take care of me. I was worried I would have to wait for them to get parts to fix it but they had the part on their truck and it was fixed in no time : Their technician Brian provided me with excellent customer service and told me a few things I should know about my AC system. JMAC Plumbing and Air Conditioning saved the day for us again! Christie sent Ben over bright and early to install a pressure reducer valve. Love this company so much. Ben is so sweet! I'm going to adopt him! Within an hour he was done! It was so darn hot out, and this guy just kept working. Our pipes had been banging, sounding as if a SWAT team was breaking down our door!

Our water pressure was horrible! Ben knew it was the pressure reducer valve within seconds of walking into our home. This company has been so good over the years we've been using them. Ben and Dan are always so punctual. They never leave messes like other companies are prone to do. JMAC's fees are great! They are worth every penny for the dependable guys and work they do.

I highly recommend JMAC to anybody needing ethical and reputable AC repairs. They came out to diagnose my current problems and to my surprise, they were able to temporarily get one of the units working even admitting they didn't think the fix would last long and that repairs I paid for would be applied to future replacement. Their reps were thorough in explaining the system replacement, the equipment they sell, why they sell it, as well as all the steps they take for the system replacement. JMAC met every commitment and never over promised. While they are not the least expensive, they were extremely fair priced for the system they sell and the work provided. hard to find these days!

Our AC broke. It was hot. I called them this morning at 9, they came out by 11 (ish). They called me when they were on their way. The access to the AC was locked and I had to call a locksmith to open the door. Nick actually waited for the Locksmith to arrive and he fixed the unit very quickly. I thought the price was reasonable. He was courteous and knowledgeable.

I used another company before for maintenance and it was a nightmare. I had bit of a phobia about calling anyone (because of the other company) but I'm glad I called this company. I will definitely use them again! (Hopefully not too soon though!) We're all cool now.

I recently had JMAC replace both hvac systems in my residence. Totally impressed! No attempts to upsell, no high pressure tactics. I was very comfortable dealing with their employees and they gave me a fair price. I had bids from other companies, but in the end went with JMAC. They don't do a ton of advertising, but they are a family business with a long history in Las Vegas.

I ended up with a professional installation and I have every reason to believe the new equipment will last for many years to come. Check them out, you won't be sorry! You rock, JMAC!

So I just bought a house last fall, and I know finding a plumber/AC/heating company that you can trust can be daunting, but JMAC has saved me multiple times already! First I was told by a different company that our plumbing downstairs was made of clay piping and it was cracking and leaking smells, despite that plumbing being installed only a few years ago.

We called in JMAC for a second opinion and they were able to tell us that the piping was actually ABS (more modern) and that we just had a bad seal on our toilet. They replaced an O Ring on the toilet and we were good to go. The first company had told us we were going to have to rip up our entire downstairs and redo the plumbing so. GET A SECOND OPINION ALWAYS!

Next up we thought our AC wasn't working as efficiently as it could, and after a long investigation JMAC was able to tell us that we had two small leaks in our unit and we didn't have any Freon in the system. Nice. Most recently we cracked a pipe trying to get a hose off outside and JMAC was there within hours to replace the piping and spigot. They've always been super quick to arrive, thorough in their work, friendly and knowledgeable.

The only thing they weren't able to do is replace the drywall they had to cut to access the pipes but you know what? It made me motivated to learn how to patch it up myself and after a few YouTube videos I'm a master drywall fixer. Can't expect them to do everything! So far they've come to the rescue every time and I can't recommend them enough.

Highly recommend JMAC Plumbing. Wonderful experience. Everyone we dealt with was great - Dan, Ben and Christy. They were nice, showed up on time and did great work. They will definitely be our place to call for any plumbing and air conditioning needs.

Awesome experience! Our AC went out last night and I called first thing this morning and they said were able to get a tech out between 2-4pm. At 11:30am they called back to say they had someone free and they would be there in 30 minutes! They tech was nice and quick and replaced our component in 20 minutes and the house was cool down in minutes. I would absolutely recommend JMAC. $49 to diagnose the problem and $150 to fix. Easy as that!

Steve helped us out greatly from scheduling to follow-up; Isaac came out to fix our AC unit on a rainy Saturday and was done in less than an hour! Pricing was reasonable and speedy! Had a payment glitch but Steve handled it like no other could and kindly offered to take care of any bank fees imposed. We're so glad and thankful everything went well after all. We will be using this company for our AC and plumbing needs solely! Thanks again, Steve!

Used them a while back for a crossed line in a shower install that another plumber messed up. There guy came out and fixed it fast. I also wanted to thank their phone person for some troubleshooting ideas before ordering an expensive leak detection service.

I called JMAC Plumbing and Air Conditioning to come out to do an inspection on my A/C unit for the summer. Isaac came out and was very professional. He arrived 15 minutes before the scheduled time, introduced himself, and explained what he was going to do. He then got right to work. He even knocked upon re-entering my house to inspect the parts on the inside of my house.

On completion of the work, Isaac explained everything he did and was very professional. I recommend JMAC to anyone that has plumbing or A/C need. They have great rates and are always available when I need them!
