Florida Electricians

This review is long overdue. My brother and I have done a lot of business with Ernie over the last 6 months as we resurrected an old Victorian in the Boca Raton. When it comes to electricity (or plumbing), you don't take the cheap handyman route. It can be flat out dangerous! We had originally hired someone with many fantastic reviews that were clearly from people who were happy just for responsiveness, but likely did not have the expertise to know if anything had been done properly.

This person had installed a bunch of electric heaters, every single one of them was done incorrectly. Further, several electrical sockets were installed, also done incorrectly. And when I say incorrectly, we could feel voltage coming off one of them and there were no less than 3 potential fire hazards. It was money down the drain, requiring a complete "redo" of the work, and would have been a potential future lawsuit, had we not had the expertise to understand the fire hazards that resulted from this work.

Then we hired Ernie of Florida electricians. And we hired him again - and again. Yes, he is busy, but he found a way to squeeze in each job. He knows FL electrical code inside and out. His crew is highly trained, extremely professional and treated with respect. Each job is done on time and perfectly. This is one of those professionals, where I had no regrets with any piece of work that was done.

Every time I wrote a check, it felt good, because I knew our home was safe not only for us today, but for the future owners once we are able to sell it. Integrity seems to be in short supply or seemingly really hard to find these days - at a fair price. Well, I found it here and I am grateful.

Florida electricians did an incredible job. We were the last job of a long day, but Ernie was patient and professional and not only completed what I had requested (wiring and hanging two large complex pendant lights), but also accommodated replacing a few switches last minute. Professional, friendly, and safety conscious (wore a mask the whole time).

Had Floridas Electricians come by to install a new chandelier, pendant lights, and a Nest Hello doorbell. Larry was very quick to respond, and quick to have one of his team members come over only a few days later. Floridas Electricians was great - very kind, worked efficiently, and did a great job. Pricing was very fair and transparent, we paid by the hour since it was general work to be done. Definitely recommend Floridas Electricians for any similar electrician needs!

I selected Floridas Electricians to install EV charging (NEMA 14-50) in my garage because they are the only vendor (out of 5 or so I called) who came back with estimate and returned my emails and phone calls. The technician came and installed today. I was very happy with his work and price. He was professional, polite and knowledgeable, and went over and beyond to meet the way we want it installed.

I also noticed that he was taking time to do the job. It ended up taking longer than the originally scheduled for, and the Company cancelled his afternoon appointment so that he could complete the work and not rush it. I was very happy about that. If you need to have NEMA 14-50 installed at your house, I highly recommend Floridas Electricians.

Had a fairly straightforward job1 replacing a breaker- that was made difficult by my uncooperative panel. They did a great job addressing it in a timely manner and on budget. Will be using in the future.

I recently purchased my first home and had some light electrical work done to wire and mount a tv in my living room. This was my first home improvement project, and both employees were excellent at communicating what they were about to do and asked how I wanted the work done. They left my home in great condition and completed the work within the time/cost I was originally quoted. Would definitely recommend.

Larry was very kind, and showed up exactly the time we scheduled. He's very knowledgeable and the rates he's charging is so fair compare to others quoted. I called a few different companies about the work I needed done and they all said it would take 4 hours. Larry and Ernie did the same work in one hour. One of the parts needed to fix a light fixture wasn't available however he was willing to come by the next morning (Sunday) to finish the job so I wouldn't have to take off work during the week. He was really great about communicating when they would arrive.

He was very friendly and gives a lot of advice on how to take care of the lights. The price was very fair and their work was quality. I will be recommending Floridas Electricians to all my friends.

We had an emergency with an electric surge this past Monday. We called around and only Florida Electricians responded. Owner came out same day and repaired the problem. Larry was very courteous and very hard working; he finished the job in one day. We are very happy with how quickly Florida Electricians responded and the quality of the work.

The Florida Electricians team were able to come and service my 200 amp circuit breaker, they did great and I have not had any more problems since they came. The service definitely lived up to the guarantee.

As a business owner in Boca Raton, Florida I did not want to have my power out. on July 25 I lost my power to half my business, I called Florida Electricians there was no run around with this company.

Ok listen I did not want to write a review, I call this company and the owner answered the phone. I told him I needed a ceiling fan installed and he told me the guys would be out in one hour. I told him no way your guys are getting to my house that fast. Well they were at my house in one hour, installed the fan and did a very clean job.
