The tests depend on the type of roof, although usually, steep slope roofing materials are tested under the standard test method for wind resistance called ASTM d3161.

A local roofing company inspected my roof and said it needed replaced. They gave me a very high bid which I considered unacceptable. Choice Property inspected my roof and informed me that it had wind damage and that I should file an insurance claim. They assisted me in filing the claim and were present when the insurance adjuster arrived. The claim was approved.
