Madison Roofing

We had Madison re do our roof after our insurance agent looked at it and recommended we get it done. Not long before then one of our neighbors had just had their roof done. So I walked over and asked who had done it and if they were happy with them. It was Madison and I'm happy we went with them. They came in just under our budget and the work was excellent. They worked on national donut day so I slipped out and got donuts for the crew. Very professional and quality work.

Two of my neighbors had their roofs replaced by Madison Roofing in 2021 and were happy with the work. My roof needed replacing, so I thought I would use them this spring. I'm glad I did. Their preconstruction consultation was good and the asphalt shingle replacement was very good. The crew was on time and the work was first-rate. They added gable vents and some other roof vents to improve air flow under the roof. Detailed finish work and cleanup was very good. I highly recommend Madison Roofing.

The Madison Roofing team that replaced our roof provided us with the most positive contractor experience we've had in nearly 20 years living in Boise. They were an extremely hard working crew and had to deal with some pretty rough weather conditions. They are a very professional and thorough team. We felt Madison Roofing was honest with us, had excellent and timely communication as we discussed pricing and material options, and their team checked the ground each day to remove loose nails, debris, and left absolutely no mess. The foreman would discuss their plans and progress each day. I felt they did a careful job. Their final inspection was thorough.

Because I possess a high level of mechanical/landscaping and electrical skill set I rarely have a vendor at my home our business. However, all of need the services of companies with knowledge and skills from time to time. We recently installed a new roof on our home. As a successful business person of course I contacted multiple companies for this project.

But one company stood out and that would be Madison Roofing. From our first contact with "Hons" it was obvious to us that they truly cared and had the experience and knowledge. Even before we authorized the job they were very accessible. Can you believe that Hans made a visit to our home twice on a Sunday. When you view our property it is obvious that we are perfectionist. Madison Roofing treated our property like it was theirs.

Our project manager was an individual named Julian and he was exceptional to work with. The lead technician on the roof was Taylor and all of these individuals went beyond the standard expectations. Upon completion of our roofing project our property looked exactly like it did before they started. They circled our home numerous times with a bar magnet to pick up any nails or hardware that was in the landscaping.

These guys got the job done, worked very hard. Day 1 strip the roof, from what I heard and saw from inside the house these boys only took one break to eat and it wasn't even that long! They worked about 7 hours each day they were here none stop. Day two was delivery of the shingles and other things to be replaced (by a third party). That was pretty cool to watch they use a conveyor belt to move everything from the truck to the roof.

The third and fourth day were all putting shingles and replacing vents exhaust pipes etc. I couldn't be happier with the results. The crew was awesome and answered questions I had worked too hard. The Lady in the office put up with more phone calls and questions than she needed to. The one and only complaint I had was the crew while laying shingles would nail in an incomplete beat of dun da da dun dun. without the final two beats dun dun!

It drove me mad and I had to complete it in my head every time and sometimes outside of my head so much that my 2 year old began finishing it too. Lol Great company highly recommend came in under budget and again we couldn't be happier! PS One of our neighbors also used them and highly recommended them to us!

I am very pleased to say that I made a good decision when I accepted Madison Roofing's bid to replace the roof of my home. They were very professional from the beginning and did a great job. The employees were pleasant and exceeded my expectations. Their attention to the fine details of maintaining the gutters and painting the roof vents to match the roof shingles was appreciated. They did an amazing job on my roof. they helped me figure out what i wanted and got the job done quickly, and they did everything right the first time. definitely worth the money. i would recommend them to anyone. they are nice people, and always professional.

Four years ago we had Madison replace the 37- year-old wood shingle roof on our home. They happily gave us references to view as well as shingle samples which helped us select a shingle color. The crew was knowledgeable, efficient and professional and had the roof done in three days. They left the house and gardens as pristine as when they started. The new roof and Certain-Teed warranty was a plus when we sold our home the following year.

We purchased a 6 year old home here in Meridian, and shortly after move in, discovered a roof repair hidden from ground view between two ridge lines. Upon inspection, I determined the repair was less than ideal. I also notice the plastic around the roof vented dryer was cracked. Plastic does that in time when exposed to sun light. I had done some research on ice dams, because apparently that is what had happened here 3 years ago.

Lots of snow caused ice damming. I called several roofing companies to come and look. None of them seemed overly interested in doing a small job? Then one day while walking, I saw a similar repair done on another house. This repair stood hands and feet above the one done on my home, so I knocked on the door, and the gentleman gave me the card and number for Madison roofing. Madison sent a gentleman right out, and by chance he was on the crew who had done the work on the home I had noticed.

So I had found what I needed. Someone with experience in doing that type of work. He walked me through what hadn't been done properly on my roof, and what he intended to do to fix it. I was able to pick a material that more closely matched our roof, and a metal dryer vent to replace he cracked plastic vent. The work was completed in a timely matter, by a company with previous experience fixing my particular issue.

They were very helpful, and did a great job on the new portion of roof, as well as installing my new metal dryer vent. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. They are well trained and have the experience needed for the jobs at hand. Thank you Madison!

Madison had done four of my neighbors' roofs over the last ten years and they were all happy with the work, so we got a bid and got on their schedule. The crew did a fantastic job. They're polite & neat, ending every day with a cleanup, and ending the job with a really thorough cleanup. When the job took longer than expected, they didn't hurry or change the quality of their work, they took their time to deliver the same professional results. One thing I like is that they employ their crews all year (commercial jobs in the winter) and they retain better employees that way. Totally recommend.

Our home had an old roof, and needed to be replaced, so we requested quotations from several contractors. Jonathan at Madison Roofing came to our house, quickly walked the roof and provided us with valuable information that other contractors hadn't mentioned. He noticed a ventilation issue immediately that shortened the life of our roof. There were no soffit vents, and this allowed heat to build up and shorten the life of our roof.

His quote was competitive with other contractors, he quickly pin pointed important issues, he didn't waste time schmoozing, and he didn't try to up-sell us. All important qualities to us for a contractor. He gave us several options for the new roof installation, and clearly explained difference and benefits for each. After completing the work, I noticed a few minor issues and sent Jonathan an email letting him know my concerns. Jonathan and his crew arrived the next morning at 7:00 AM, and addressed all of my concerns. They performed exceptional work, and provided exceptional customer service. I definitely recommend Madison if you're considering roofing work on your home or business.
