Wow. Geri and her team are rock stars. My wife and I were buying a new home and knew we wanted to do some remodeling. Geri took on our project, expanded our horizons on what could be done and they exceeded our expectation. We remodeled the kitchen from a boring dated design to a stunning beautiful kitchen, we remodeled the master bathroom to a beautiful spa like experience and updated two bathrooms, plus much more.

During this time, they took the time to get to know us and what the style we were looking for. Further they wanted to help us create a home that was an expression of us. Geri shared and educated us on how the details from sconces to cabinet hardware can really elevate a space. Geri and her team went above and beyond with us. We had a big project and a short timeline to get it done.

She helped us with finding and negotiating with a contractor for the project to spending many hours in meetings and watching over our project to making sure everything was done right. The entire Portfolio team from Geri to Kelly to Brian were fantastic and always there to answer our question, listen to our concerns and to make sure that we ended up with a house that we loved. We are so happy with our new home and we love showing it off. Thank you to Geri and the Portfolio team for giving us a home we love.

Portfolio helped us with a kitchen and two bathrooms renovations/remodels. We had an excellent experience from beginning to end. Over the past few months of spending significantly more time at home, I am continuously reminded how much we LOVE the renovations that Portfolio has helped us make to our 1930s Brookside home. Geri and her team have come into our home twice over the past 4 years (kitchen and more recently the master bath). Originally, my husband and I walked into Portfolio not able to clearly articulate our exact vision for our kitchen/home.

Geri and her team did a full renovation on the traditional and dated condo we purchased turning it into a light, bright, contemporary home with a kitchen that would be the envy of any cook. They listened to what we wanted to achieve from our home and respected our views. The attention to detail, insuring that the condo flowed as one space throughout, that our space was personalized to us and not a 'cookie cutter' of other projects, that space was used very efficiently, and in general going above and beyond. I had a horrible experience with Portfolio designing and executing a kitchen remodel from beginning to end. It started with the new kitchen cabinets not fitting and having to have my existing wood floor extended to cover their mistake and ended with having the countertops replaced 5 times because the color from adjoining areas didn't match every time they were replaced.

I had to pay a plumber to remove and replace the sink each of those 5 times! Literally every single thing Portfolio did was so unprofessional and handled so poorly it was hard to believe. This was an excruciating experience.

Great experience. I have had the good fortune to retain Portfolio for several projects on my home. and every time the results are amazing. Professional people. Great design. Impeccable work. Do yourself a favor and talk to them before hiring anyone else. You will be glad you did.

Our house was in need of renovation and we decided to go with Portfolio during our first meeting with them. It was love from first sight: they listened very carefully to what needed to be done in our house and offered their professional solution. They recommended several teams of subcontractors to us, including a general contractor who was simply the best you could imagine: he was thinking and treating us like he would be doing his own house.

A tile guy, young, but very talented and ambitious, showed excellent craftsmanship and simply loved what he was doing. A hardwood floor subcontractor was the best you could find. The team of guys who installed the countertops in our kitchen and the vanities in our 3 bathrooms was also great. The team of designers in charge of our project was efficient and very professional.

The design and implementation of their ideas into reality was excellent. They took responsibility for every aspect of the remodeling: they helped us design, install and even decorate the house. We valued their professional opinion very much! Now that the remodeling is complete, we understand they connected us with professionals we would not be able to find on our own otherwise.

Our kitchen cabinets and vanities were custom made in Canada and are of excellent quality. Because of my husband's hectic schedule, Portfolio had many meetings with us during the project mostly on weekends or after hours which was very much appreciated. We like them a lot and we recommended the company to our son who is building his own house now.

The Designer's services are intellectual property which you cannot measure only by amount of money you spend, but we strongly believe our money was well invested in Portfolio. The owner of the company takes personal pride in her work; she possesses a unique set of experiences, skills, and approaches and she makes you feel confident that it will be the best match for your personality, your home and your style.

She personally met with us numerous times and tailored her meetings accordingly. She was not shy in stating that something was wrong with our proposals or ideas, she monitored the whole project from A to Z, and her credo, "My clients must be happy with my work, " was carried out through the whole time. The project started and finished within the schedule, was within our budget and at the end Portfolio has one more very happy client!

What a wonderful experience it was to visit the Portfolio Kitchen and Home store! My niece goes to school nearby and has visited this store a few times to get inspired. I was thrilled to hear how welcoming they were to a college design student looking for ideas and inspirations. The minute we approached the front doors it felt like home - or should I say how I want my home to look and feel!

I loved the way they were interested in our lifestyles, and when I mentioned my niece was a vegetarian they had the coolest ideas ever as to how to configure a kitchen for this lifestyle. The Thermador kitchen that was functioning was beautiful and functional, and I now HAVE to have one of their steam convection ovens. Thank-you so much to the wonderful Portfolio team - I will be recommending them to anyone wanting to make their house a home.

Sometimes on a Saturday morning, I'm not looking my best. There are errands to be run and yard work to do. So after my husband and I finished are obligatory duties, we headed to Portfolio Kitchen & Home to see what they offer. We have pretty much the original Brookside kitchen badly in need of a major redo. All I can say is we were treated poorly. I'll put it down to how we were dressed-shorts, tshirts, and our "work" Nikes.

They might as well as yelled when we walked in that they didn't want our business. We are now happily working with an architect. Dorfman's has also been great-they have a fabulous showroom and knowledgeable staff.
