Kitchen
Report
The kitchen is the center of most homes. It is where the family joins together to cook meals, talk to each other, and is a gathering space for any home party. If the kitchen is lackluster, it can change the attitude of the home and the homeowner. Renewing the Home, LLC, renovates your kitchen into something you can be proud to show off.
Bathroom
Report
In most homes, the bathroom door remains closed. Renewing the Home, LLC will work to create a bathroom where the homeowner is proud to keep the door open. Remodeling your bathroom can create a room where the stresses of the day slip away. A relaxing tub can change the way you stay clean. If accessibility is an issue, a walk-in tub can transform your bathroom.

Very unprofessional are Steve, CEO & Nathan Newport. Signed contract based upon a verbal start date. Which was my 1st mistake by not having the a start date in contract. 30 days lapsed and no contact from Nathan Newport. I contacted him. He stated another 30 days. No contact from Nathan Newport. I contacted him twice. My 2nd contact I text I want a refund.

Immediately Nathan Newport contacted me. Stated he can't give me a refund due to contract stated I had 3 days to cancel in order to get refunded. Mind you I trusted them that project would start in 30 days of signed contract. Needless to say I was not refunded. My opinion I will not recommend Renewing The Home Services LLC. Beware! They scammed an innocent trustworthy homeowner!

Tim and Josh remodeled my master bathroom. They were very professional and the work was excellent. I would use them and Samatha for sakes anytime I need more work done. I can't say enough good thing about them they were prompt every day and had me review the work each day Service: Remodeling

It's been 6 months since install. They promised a 1 year warranty with repairs at 3 mo and 1yrs. I called after 3mo. No responses to emails and voicemails. Finally their glass subcontractor called unannounced and swapped out a chipped door. A few weeks later Randy calls and says he'll be by tomorrow. He adds grout on top of grout (not a repair) and tells me he cannot fix several of the tile issues because that would be "too big of a job" and he'd have to get approval.

He leaves without telling me and I text and call multiple times with no response. See pictures attached. Randy told me the "apprentice" who happens to be co-owners son did all the bathroom tile work. I cannot show in a picture but there are lumps in the shower floor. The black hexagonal tiles are askew because "it's difficult". If I had done this job myself, I'd be very happy. Not happy paying a hefty sum with promise of a years warranty on install. They clearly did sloppy tile and grout work.

Work was completed as we discussed, incorporating suggestions by contractor to improve the ultimate outcome. Tim was great about arriving at the agreed upon time each day and cleaning up well each day before he left. He went the extra mile to ensure I was satisfied with the job. We had Steve and his crew remodel our entire basement, basement bathroom. mudroom and main shower. Everything was exactly as promised and everyone was very professional. The crew was on site when they said they would be there and even came over on a Saturday to fix a few small things we did not have on our list to get our house ready for to put on the market.

They were respectful of our home and our family while they were there. Because of the work they did we sold our house quickly and were able to buy our new home, which they will be doing more work for us very soon. We were so impressed that we referred our very good friends to them who will be having there home remodeled by Steve, Shay and crew in February. Thanks for everything, you are true craftsmen!

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness Samantha came to look at our kitchen, took measurements, then set up an appointment to return on a different day to go over pricing. She did not show up for the appointment, and never bothered calling or emailing to apologize. Waste of everybody's time.

Renewing the Home recently completed a bathroom remodel for me. They spent time with me, listening to what I wanted. They were friendly and respectful of my home. They were prompt, showing up every day and worked hard. I love my new bathroom.

My wife and I love our new bathroom. I found the price to be fair. I wasted my time by talking to three other companies who obviously were not professional bathroom remodelers. I even had the company we always see on television come out and talk to us. Their price was over $10,000 more than Renewing The Home Services. The workmanship, communication and timeliness were fantastic. I look forward to our next project with them. Andy

Tremendously Over-priced for the Quality of Work The best thing I can say about this company is that they were very friendly and helpful, when you are able to contact them.

While the project wasn't perfect, it was pretty downright good! I love the color pallet of everything and the design works quite well. I've had numerous unsolicited compliments on the whole project. The cabinets that I got, while not custom made are quite good and the kitchen design was based on their sizes, so I guess I have custom made kitchen! I did request soft close doors and drawers and pull-out shelves on the lower cabinets.

I highly recommend this! It costs more, but it's worth it! My biggest problem now is, I have so much cabinet space I don't know where to put all my stuff! I almost need someone to help organize my stuff and store it or get rid of it! If I have any post observations, it would be based on design issues that have popped up. After you get something new, you have a break in period and have a chance to use it in its current configuration.

Such as: Under the Cabinet lighting - absolutely love it! However, in its current configuration, the light switch is by the sink, next to the switch for the garbage disposal. A better place, (in my opinion) would have been next to the switch for the overhead lights. That way, you could turn both on or off as you enter or leave the kitchen. Also, if I had it to do again, (actually I do because under the cabinet LED string lights are so simple) I'd try to string the lights in a more efficient way and get more use out of a single 16.4' string of lights.

I also would like the lights under all the cabinets (there's about 1' under a narrow cabinet next to the refrigerator that doesn't have lights and looks a little bare (my opinion). I also think that it would be great to run a string under the lip of the bar by the sink and provide me with light directly over the sink. The string lights have proven quite effective as project lights and would fill this need quite effectively.

Note to all: I got what is termed "double lights", there are 600 lights in a 16.4' string as opposed to 300 in a standard string. That's 3 lights per inch vice 1.5. If you think that is too bright then get a dimmer switch for them. It's better to have too much than too little and be filled with regrets! Knowing what I know now, there are more things that I would have had done, but as I promised at the beginning of the process I didn't make a bunch of changes during the project which would have exceeded my budget!

As a consequence, I came in pretty much on budget and time. Renewing the Home's (RTH) quote was substantially lower than Jericho and all told, their design was more to my liking. Shay was a pleasure to work with, other than he was too happy all the time. Dustin and Jacob were my installers and they are brothers and Steve's sons. They are excellent craftsmen and were very much dedicated to getting the work done. I would be happy to have them on other projects. The whole crew treated me with respect and made every effort to keep my budget under control. Thank you very much!

One of the absolute most horrible experiences in contracting. Had the floors tiled and the work was very shotty at best. The grout work was horrible. Took them a few extra trips to attempt to make it right. Lots of flaws with the tile level. They replaced the trim in some spots in the kitchen and it didn't match the rest of the trim. They got mortar all over my walls and I did a majority of the cleaning. Like the other review says.if I had a chance to have a redo I would and it would certainly be with another contractor. DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR!

You should definitely hire this company. Lots of bang for your buck and nice guys to work with. Jacob and Shay were awesome at fixing anything that was wrong. It took some time but that is to be expected.

I cannot recommend Renewing The Home Services. We just had a bathroom remodel completed. I found the tile job to be fair to average, the finish wood working was very poor, sheet rock work below average, and the paint work very poor.

You should definitely hire this company. Lots of bang for your buck and nice guys to work with. Jacob and Shay were awesome at fixing anything that was wrong. It took some time but that is to be expected. Any request me and my wife made no matter how small or stupid they took care of it. Always on time and if not you got a call stating why and when they would be there. I would definitely have them back!
