I don't write reviews often, but I thought it was important to do so here. I have used Barry Carpet twice now, and they did an exceptional job with the carpet in my bedroom. They also did the hardwood floors throughout the rest of my condo. We had some hiccups along the way but, ultimately, I was satisfied with the experience. I would also recommend Jarely as your rep. She was always responsive, adaptive to changes, and very helpful when I needed design ideas.

I've used the fabulous Barry Carpet four times now over six years, and you won't find a more perfect service! They've installed hardwood floors, even on difficult stairs, and carpet for me, and everything is quick, clean, and perfectly executed. The experienced installers are friendly and reliable. The sales staff members are professional and responsive.

The prices are good, and they have a large variety of any flooring you could want. Go in and see their samples--it's very hard to decide between so many great choices. No need to shop anywhere else!

I couldnt be happier w their work, and would use noone else! I own a salon and home in the valley, and all the flooring they have done has lasted well, and looks great. Their customer service is exemplary, always prompt and thorough, and I would personally ignore those crazy reviews from a few years ago. Jim at Barry Carpet did a great job helping us pick new carpets for our townhouse. He helped me understand the costs and timelines for installation, and didn't try to sell me something that was outside my budget. Marbella has a great eye and helpful service support. She is awesome. We used Berry Carpet for 3 areas of our company and we love the carpet and installation. We looked and priced other vendors and found that Berry Carpet had fair prices. We were new to carpet squares, we tested in one departmental area. They have not started tear or pull out and now we are sold on them. We recently used carpet squares with a pattern and are very pleased. I would recommend them and enjoyed working with Berry Carpet's team.

Marbella knows her stuff! I went into Barry's Carpet looking for an eco friendly option that would fit in my budget and she knew immediately what to show me (without having to get a book out and start looking up prices, etc). She was very straightforward and knowledgable, there is no beating around the bush with her and I like that, you ask and she knows. I would buy carpet from her again, for sure!

This is the worst service I've ever experienced. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Don't use them. I tried to get a carpet estimate for 2 weeks and was met with every horrendous scenario you could possibly imagine. The first time I was told someone would come out, called them on the date of the appointment after waiting around all day, and was told that no one was scheduled for the appointment.

Later that day I was told that I called the wrong location. When I followed up a third time, I was told I was a terrible person by some woman on the phone for something completely off base and was told that she sent an estimate even though I had not gotten one. She said she'd resend it. Still don't have an estimate. Haven't heard from them since and after that awful customer experience I'm staying as far away from this company as possible. I recommend you do the same unless you want to waste your time.

This should NOT be your first choice for minor padding replacement. My AC caused water damage to a 4x5 space and they wanted to overcharge me with their excessive fees. Is spoke with sales associate Jim- Buyer BEWARE, he said they have a minimum of $350 labor charge and that does NOT include replacing the padding. UPDATE! Another local flooring company came sent one man and he took less than 15 minutes to remove the old padding and to place in new padding.

And he suggested and allowed me to spray some Tilex to prevent future mildew and mold. IT cost me much LESS than $ half the price quoted at Barry's carpet. Truly, take your business elsewhere. The sales associates are curt, rude and well overpriced!

This is absolutely the best in the business. I am an interior designer who has worked with numerous flooring vendors. I love working with the staff at Barry Carpet. They carry quality products at reasonable prices and employ knowledgeable associates and skilled installers. Customer service is exquisite. Marbella is a true professional, she and Jim are abreast of their field and follow the recent trends in product development.

They are detail oriented, always helpful and ready to offer good advice where needed. They provide clients with excellent service, help with selection of appropriate flooring materials, issue detailed quotes promptly and always follow up after installation. I highly recommend Barry Carpet to anyone who is in the market for new flooring.

I'm so glad that I came to Barry Carpet. They have an incredible selection of floor coverings & friendly staff. I wanted new carpet installed before my daughter started crawling. Marbella was so kind, patient, knowledgeable & honest. She sent someone to measure that same day & helped me choose the best wool carpet. She also helped me create a custom rug for my daughter's playroom. Marbella provided a detailed estimate promptly & was was very accommodating when it came to scheduling the installation.

The installers were nice, efficient & didn't leave any mess behind. I'm so excited to go back to her for my next project. She has excellent taste & listens to your needs.

Very disappointing experience with Barry Carpet. I should specify that it was with Marbella in particular. When I called to get some options for new carpet for the hallway of a building, I was directed to Marbella. She agreed to come out to take measurements and show us a few catalogues of looks I was looking for. On the day of the appointment, she arrived late without providing me any notice.

That was not a big deal to me, given that traffic situations occur all the time. At the meeting, we discussed options and asked that she get back to me with some very detailed estimates. She only sent an email with a generic price without providing any information that you would expect, such as what is included, the measurements, the carpet name/model.

I asked for a more specific bid but she didn't respond. I called and called and left several messages without ever hearing back from her. Way to waste my time. If you knew that you did not want to take on the job or that you were unable to provide the minimal details that any professional would, you should have had the courtesy to communicate as much. Seriously, how unprofessional that you simply fail to respond to numerous inquiries and follow up messages. Was hoping to do business with Barry Carpet on numerous other projects but based on the unbelievably inadequate services Marbella provided I will not be back. Very disappointed by the level of disrespect.

Hello carpet lovers! I've used Barry Carpet now for 3 of our fitness studios. I love these guys. Jill and Marbella were first class. They found our desired carpet when nobody else could. They had it sent it from across the country in time for our grand opening. They even got it for less than other companies. Their installers came on time and worked hard until the install was simply perfect. Jill is easy to reach and you can even get her on the phone to discuss scheduling etc. You can't go wrong with Barry Carpet. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Their customer service is very poor. The mill sent them the wrong carpet a few weeks before installation. They neglected to identify this error. The morning when they were supposed to do the install one of the owners called me advising that they received the wrong carpet and that it will take a week or so to receive the correct one. I advised him that because of the delay I would incur expenses.

I attempted to avert these expenses but could not. One of them was installation of a television system that a friend was going to do for free but because of the delay I missed his being able to help me. The owner said "S--t Happens" and was not sympathetic to my problem. After a few conversations he asked me how much discount I wanted and feeling that it was rude of me to tell him how much to compensate me for I asked him to advise me his offer. Finally, the television installation cost me $350.00 and he reimbursed me a fraction of that cost.

My total payment to him was over $3,000.00. There were other expenses that I incurred due to their error which I did not claim to them. He was very rude to me during the last conversations. On the other hand his installation workers were kind and very skilled. I am happy with the final product, however, I had a miserable experience in dealing with him. I highly recommend that if you want to make a purchase from this company that you reconfirm that they have the correct merchandise when received from their supplier.
