Best paint store ever with an old school feel. I found an 5 gal. bucket with Tanner Paint label in the garage - had to be 15 or 20 years old. Had never heard of Tanner Paint before but looked them up online. Went to the store and they mixed same color exactly. Awesome staff. Nice to see there are places like this still around. I'll never get paint at Lowe's or Home Depot again.

I was clueless on what I wanted to use. I had seen a floor and awning that I liked the looks of but wasn't familiar with the median used nor did I know the name of the product (s). Walker was very patient and allowed me to describe the texture and look of the finished product. He was able to locate exactly what I wanted and was very knowledgeable of how to apply it for the results I described wanting.

It's always a great pleasure to do business with Tanner's. The owners and staff are knowledgeable and always eager to help out. As a small Painting Company ( Jovial Painting Inc ) they have really helped us out and are a great part of our success.

As a 2nd and 3rd generation painting contractors, having been in business for over 60 years, ourselves, we have done business with a lot of different paint stores. We can appreciate the dedication and pride displayed in the service that Walker and his crew gives to their customers at Tanner Paints. You don't run a family business for almost 90 years without doing something right. This is the place for knowledgeable service and quality products.

We loved using Tanner Paint Company for a small project in our new house! My kids went with me to pick out paint colors for their rooms, and they went above and beyond while helping us! The paint looks great on the walls and my kids loved 'the paint store'!

Tanner Paint Company is a local Tampa area paint store. We moved from Tampa to St Pete, but I still drive 30 miles to buy our Paint and paint supplies from Tanner. They can answer any Painting related questions one has. They are friendly, patient and always there to help. This store deserves 5 Stars Plus some. T

My expectations with Tanner paint company were exceeded beyond. I had some concerns with painting a room and the level of customer service I received was just amazing. All my questions were answered and I was able to choose a paint color that turned out fabulous. Highly recommended.

I went to Tanner for help with a problem staining wood. They discussed the issue and even called an expert customer of theirs for advice. Their customer service is top notch.

I wanted Benjamin Moore paint and watched so many YouTube videos to nail down some colors that I can swatch.but I was simply overwhelmed by the choices! I bypassed several other paint store options because I saw the rating for this paint shop and saw they have a color consultant on-site. So very happy with my choice to go to Tanner's paint - THEY ARE WORTH THE DRIVE!

You can tell the vibe from the employees that they all just want to be helpful to any questions you have at all. The young lady that helped consult me was invaluable and is an expert at the paint color palettes. I am so excited and ecstatic with my choices and know that I could not have felt so comfortable with my choices (warm or cold, LRV, color contrast, etc, etc, etc.) without the expert guidance there. Absolutely love Tanner Paint. Bobby and the guys always taking good care of my paint needs whenever I have a project in Tampa. I'll make a call and they make it happens. It shows that there are businesses that still care for customer service.

Love ordering from Tanner Paint. They make curb side pick-up easy. Just place your order and pay over the phone. When you get there, call to say you are there, and they bring it out to you. Done! Oh, and they always help me figure out what sheen I need for my projects (without making me feel dumb for asking ).

I love this store! It's an old, freestanding building with it's own parking lot, so parking is never an issue. The men who work here are just SO nice and helpful. They carry everything painting related that you could possibly need, so it's a great, one-stop paint shop. I went in to get some ideas as to what color to paint my newly renovated kitchen.

The main line they carry is Benjamin Moore. It's a quality paint, and the displays they had offered plenty of paint chip samples for me to choose from. While there I also picked up a beautiful metallic paint for an arts and crafts project. At the register I asked where cheap paint brushes would be - and they man showed me they had three differently-sized $5 brushes right at checkout.

So smart and so convenient. I've narrowed down my color choices, so I called ahead to get two sample colors made. Each color cost $6.99, and was ready by the time I arrived to pick it up. They also provided recommendations for painters when I asked, which is so useful. Why deal with the hassle of a big box store, when you can shop here with no fuss? They have been in business since 1933, and I hope they make it another 87 years!

The staff is always so friendly and helpful! They are more knowledgeable than other places. Definitely one of the best places to buy paint.
