We hired Capps to replace an old asphalt shingle roof with a new standing seam metal roof. Capps's bid for the project was competitive (not the cheapest or the most expensive we received) but they specified that they would not charge extra for any roof decking (plywood, etc.) that needed to be replaced. When they installed the roof in March 2022 their work exceeded my expectations.

Our house was built in the early 1950s and had some wood damage due to a previous termite issue and general wear. Capps replaced a decent amount of the roof deck, some of the fascia and even some wood siding that also had prior damage. They sealed and primed the siding as well. Capps were true to their word and added no extra charges to the final bill.

I'm certain one of the lower bidders would have ultimately charged us more in the end (or simply not have done the extra work to stay within the estimate). I highly recommend Capps if you're considering major roof work.

This was the first time in my many years of homeownership in which we decided to do a major home improvement such as the new Seamless Metal Roof recently installed by Capps Roofing. These folks are a well-oiled machine. 5 days from demo to final inspection. The onsite folks were polite and answered any questions I had. I was also impressed by the cleanup at the end of each day. I will certainly call on them again should the need arise. I would absolutely recommend Capps Roofing to anyone looking for a good, reliable and efficient local roofer.

We have used Capps Roofing twice since we moved it. They have done a great job on both occasions. After a big rain we had to call them for our metal roof over the back of our house. They came immediately and fixed the issue and we have not had a problem since. The second repair was more involved and the issue was fixed in about a week including ordering the parts, etc. All of the Capps employees are awesome and I would highly recommend this company.
