Customer service was exceptional and they have a great selection of products.

Requested an estimate and they charge for an estimate. I will not pay for one

Called for the free estimate of redoing my sprinkler system. Was told they "don't do estimates" and the cost is $125 per hour plus parts. So I said well how do I know how long it will take? The response was, "oh"; well let me see if someone can come out to your home. Asked if they did turf, said yes and I should measure it myself and it would cost $xx per square feet.

How do I know if I measure correctly?! PFFTTT on this company - they do not do free estimates and expect me to do the legwork. I will give my money to another company who sends somebody to my home.

0 stars if it was possible. The list goes on and on with this company and I just don't have enough time to cover everything but I wanted to warn others before they hand out money to this company. From the first time we had work done we were not completely satisfied from how small size of the plants to the three trees that died and then I was told I needed to have a soil test done or they wouldn't replace the trees.

Once we decided to have more work done we had them quote it and they were going to credit us for the trees and add some more for free. It all sounded good so we were willing to take the chance again. After dropping off my deposit and being told we would be "put on the board" I text Eric about the lead time, he text back 4-6 weeks before they would start so we waited the entire 6 weeks before contacting them, I was then told 3-4 more weeks.okay, they are busy and things happen, I get it.

So we wait another 4 weeks and was then told another 4-6 weeks and that they did not know where we came up with 4-6 weeks originally. So I sent a screen shot of the text from Eric and they came back and said well you are #3 on the board, mind you this is 18 weeks after I put down the deposit! I had finally had it and called to cancel and was told "oh, but you are number one on the board now and we were just getting ready to call you and schedule for the next couple weeks.

I said no thank you and got my deposit back. We have since found two companies that are giving us way more for our money and are getting to it much quicker. After getting multiple bids it is clear we could have gotten a much better deal the first time and I wish we had never used them the first time. I would never consider using or even getting a quote from Maranatha!

Came out and adjusted my sprinklers next month had a 500$ water bill, will not take ownership of it.

If you are looking for someone to do an outdoor kitchen, shop around. Our quote from Eric, which we had to follow up getting, was over double what we paid- for a better product. Eric wanted his vision and it was not environmentally friendly either. The quote was laughable because it quoted the same thing on multiple items, but of course the price was multiplied too.

We have never seen how an outdoor fridge would cost over $2200 to install (regular Bull fridge too). For the sake of your time and money, shop around. After we received the quote, which we knew was way overpriced, no one ever called to follow up. I wonder if they didn't because they knew it was a joke. Glad we didn't go with them and saved over $13,000. Thanks Marantha for not following up. We got a better product for half the cost in less the time.

Called them on 5/11/20 to obtain a quote for some work. On 5/14/20 they were scheduling to come up between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. They never showed up. Called them and they said they had my number wrong in the system, so when they called yesterday, it didn't go through so they just cancelled the appointment. They then asked for my number and said we can reschedule for next week.

This is poor, poor customer service. While they were courteous, the offer should have been to come out this week still. I said no thanks and hung up. Hopefully they got the message.

Such a wide variety of stones and landscape rocks. fabulous customer service. A bit pricey.but worth it.

They do good work, when they answer their phones, and when they keep their appointments. We have looked for another company. We really feel as if the individual customer is of no importance to them

Came out the same day! Mike and his crew came out at the exact time they said they would. Mike was professional, communicated everything they were doing and the time his crew would be back to finish. Worked hard until they found the valve that was broke. Will be working more with Mike and telling me neighbors to as well.

I really like doing business with this place, the lady at the front desk is always super nice and helpful. Their prices seem pretty competitive as well and they are willing to work with you to get what you need.

Mike is the nicest guy, very helpful and informative! Maranatha is our place for landscaping materials to keep our yards looking fantastic, all year round!

If a business opens at a certain time they should have someone available to attend customers rather then having an open office with no one available. We were outside waiting for 30 minutes. An I will be back sign or something similar would have been appreciated rather then keeping clients clueless.

I called Maranatha landscaping to have my sprinkler system in the front yard tuned up. The representative came out, went over the project scope in addition to some additional work to be done. I was promised a quote via email the next day but never received it. When I called their office they had no idea who I was.if the job was too small just say so don't promise then never deliver. I've recently been doing a major landscaping project and Maranatha has provided me outstanding service for my landscape supplies. Prices are reasonable with the exception of delivery, I like approximately 1 mile away and was hoping to get 10 yards of compost delivered but at a $45 charge I thought that was too much. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

Great experience with Mike and his helper! Fast, efficient, honest, professional, and didn't try to sell me anything. Needed someone to check timer, system, and fix a leak. Strongly recommend their services. Very trustworthy and reliable family business. Denise was a joy to speak with and got me in the next day. Could not be happier!

I recently created a cactus garden and needed a lot of rocks. After checking out Buck's first I went to this place. Their prices were much more reasonable and the staff a LOT friendlier and more helpful. The woman at the front desk was SO nice and SO helpful. I would definitely recommend Maranatha Landscaping if you're looking for rocks or boulders.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. Last August we asked Eric to come out and redo our hill landscape. We wanted something low maintenance as we aren't able to maintain it any longer. He talked us into clearing the weeds, changing the watering system and adding more ground cover (which either never took hold or they put In so little, we just can't see it).

It looks worse now than it did before. Being retired our money is limited so it is devastating that we spent this much money and our hill looks no better. Also, they never followed up on their own, we always had to call them and remind them what they promised they would do.

A year ago we moved into our new house and we have have a wonderful backyard thanks to Eric and his crew! Eric listened to our wants and needs and came up with a great yard within our budget. We had just a few items that needed tended to and Eric and his crew were able to come back and help us get it corrected. We highly recommend Maranatha Landscape! Thank you Eric and crews!

This company did a magnificent job in our backyard. My husband designed the plans and Eric looked them over and made some suggestions. The end product is wonderful and we are really enjoying our new back yard.

We've had issues with our sprinklers and decided to give Maranatha a try based on price and being the earliest available to come out (next day). They showed up a bit early, which was fine by me. We only had a broken valve so it was an easy fix that only took about ten minutes. They were quick and professional, and even took a look at our timer which we thought was broken.

They were able to reset it and program it for free which was just an added bonus. They'll definitely be the first we call when we decide to add sprinklers in the back yard. They do accept credit cards, but you have to call it in to the office after they leave. This wasn't a problem for me but others may prefer to have a check ready to avoid the process.

Serious problem with occluded pvc piping outflow from valves. Called Mike at Maranantha. Appointment next day, arrived early and with his two nice young sons. Went right to work evaluating problems, checking and repairing various valves (I have 12). Confirmed occluded pipes. Would cost $1500 to dig out tree roots and replace. Mike looked it over and came up with ingenious solution to connect that station with another station just a few feet away. Came back the next day, easily laid the new pvc pipe between two sprinkler stations and bundled the valve wiring.

Good water pressure still produced good pattern with all the sprinklers from two stations running on one working valve now. Total cost for 2 days work less than $300, well under what I thought it would be. Mike is hard worker and a total professional at his vocation. I was totally impressed and pleased. You can bet that he will get all my landscaping needs and service in the future. Highly recommended. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I had some sprinkler issues happening beyond the expertise of my husband (valve and flooding issues). I have had several companies out for estimates. Not only was office staff at Marantha friendly over the phone, but the gentlemen providing the estimate and service were awesome! Very professional! Marantha was competent and honest. The other estimates from their competitors we received were outrageous and were wanting to replace things not needing to be.

I also had a contractor tell me he needed tear up my concrete to get to sprinkler valves. Marantha told me exactly what I needed at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them for sprinkler repair!

Stopped by Marantha on my way back to Tehachapi. Never been there before and i must say it is a very organized rock quarry. The owner, Mike, was very helpful as was his staff. the rock yard is nicely organized and Marantha has a large variety of landscaping needs.
