Tadlock Roofing

Tadlock did a great job. They showed up when they said they would and completed the job in a timely manner. After the job was complete they sent a quality control person to inspect the final product prior to getting the final inspection with the county. I called three roofing companies for quotes, One company didn't even show up for their appointment and the other one quoted a price much higher than Tadlock. I am very pleased with their work and customer service.

My experience with Tadlock Roofing has been exceptional. Everyone that I worked with was professional and provided me information quickly. My plumbing ventilation issue was repaired quickly and a full day ahead of schedule. I will definitely use Tadlock for any future needs regarding my roof and recommend the company to my friends.

Josh came out and inspected my roof. I had found 2-3 4"x3" pieces after the last big winds we had. My roof (they put it on) is about 15-16 years old. He could have said replace it. They replaced our roof after Tropical storm Faye. I was talked into a "forever" roof supposedly warrantied for a lifetime and passes on to the next owner. They installed the roof lickety split and it has been a nightmare ever since. The first time it rained it flooded our bedroom closet. We have more than 7 leaks I needed to get a tetanus shot due to the mess they left in and around the house.

I am still having issues. Mr. Tadlock sold me the roof but seems to be never available with a problem that has been going on since 2008. If you speak to management it's never their fault. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Our HOA uses a preffered and not preferred companies, you no where Tadlock is going!

Tadlock re-roofed our half of a townhome. Great job matching the existing roof on other half. Was a pleasure working with Joshua on planning and the contracting for the project. Provided great pictures for all plywood and siding replacement (before and after shots) to support the addition costs. Installed all new flashing and pipe covers with squirrel guards. Great looking job! Would recommend Tadlock and Joshua to friends in need of roofing.

I used Tadlock in 2018 to replace my roof and was very happy with their work. I had them come back out in January 2022 for roof maintenance services. I did not use Tadlock Roofing, but my townhome neighbor did today. Being that we are a townhome, it's not exactly easy for workers to keep their debris contained to one yard, but Tadlock Roofing went above and beyond to ensure no debris was left in our yard afterwards, without ever needing to go through our house. They were very courteous and diligent in their pickup.

Excellent experience from beginning (office staff) to end (repair). Dan was prompt, professional, and very thorough in both his inspection and explanation to me of needed repairs and potential roof life. The repair team worked quickly and efficiently. Tadlock was highly recommended to me by a neighbor and by a friend who has extensive knowledge of the roofing industry; I was not disappointed.

I had to come and write a review right away. In an age where so many companies show no integrity and are just out to rip people off, I see that Tadlock Roofing is not that type of company. The rep came and inspected my metal roof, took photos and TOLD ME THE TRUTH! Imagine that. My roof is fine. The leak I had into my upper floor is coming in through holes around the window. I was referred about Tadlock by word of mouth and I will gladly refer them to anyone who asks. Thank you very much.

I had 2 local companies give me roofing bids. I decided I needed another roofing company^s bid to make a better comsumer decision in my comparisons. TADLOCK ROOFING got the job because they listened to me as a potentisl customer. I had concerns and questions in which my salesman Josh answered those completely to my satisfaction. The re-roofing process only took 2 days which I thought would take 4 days to do.

The roofing crew was very detailed in their process of organization from start to finish. I also had my shed re-roofed and 2 solar tubes installed by roofing specialist Pedro and Manny (very professional and contentious TADLOCK employees). Also General Manager Brad has been there to support any other questions I had and follow-up in my experience with TADLOCK ROOFING. They were recommended by a friend but my wife had heard of them in Pinellas County. I highly recommend them too!

Anyone looking for roof and gutter work might want to read this review. I hired Tadlock to replace my roof and gutters because they did both projects. Well, the roofing work was done and there were no problems and I would say they did a good job. Can't say the same for the gutter work. First, after several delays such as material was not delivered, truck had mechanical issues and another time there was a hurricane off the gulf coast.

It took weeks to reschedule an appointment. Let's fast forward to the final day, I was out of town had but my 20 yr old son was at home. After installing the gutters the installer managed to roll off my roof pulling down 17 feet of newly installed gutters. Ok, now it gets really crazy. The installer had locked his keys inside the back of the truck.

He went through my garage looking for a saw or crowbar which I didn't have. So he talks my son into driving him to Walmart where he proceeds to buy a saw that's used to cut wood. NO LIE. When the installer returns to my house he starts to cut a hole into the top of his truck. Asks my son to use his cellphone flashlight so he could rummage in the truck looking for a set of keys.

I wish I had been at home to watch the whole thing go down. The installer never offered my son any money for his time and gas driving him around. But here's the real kicker I paid $3,000 for this less than quality workmanship. I asked for discount and was told he was being generous to give me 5%. He also said to me quote: "If you were to reach out to the owner of the company he would laugh at your story and take your 5% discount away." Well, I hope he's laughing now at the memorable experiences I have had. I would proceed with caution about this company unless you want to grab some popcorn and watch some crazy things.

I'm only providing 5 stars as I can't go any higher! Wonderful team to work with, from the initial contact with the sales rep and the impressive quoting and visualization tools which let us look and compare shingle styles and colors to ensure we liked the selection, through to the installation crew. The team was very well organized and seriously worked their butt's off.

Impressive workmanship right down to some very small details in covering the vents with screen to prevent animal intrusion. Could not be happier with the end result. HIGHLY recommended.

I contacted Tadlock Roofing to get an estimate for the repair of a roof leak after unsuccessfully trying to schedule inspections with two other roofing companies. While I know Tadlock has a good reputation, I avoided calling them first because a) I was on a budget, and I thought they would be too expensive, and b) I thought my repair would be too small for them to consider.

I was pleasantly surprised when the person in the office I spoke with on my initial call immediately scheduled an inspection for two days later, whereas the other roofing companies I had contacted always delegated that responsibility to an estimator (who never called back). The Tadlock estimator immediately identified the source of the leak and sent me a proposal the same day.

The repair was performed approximately one week later, and its efficacy was tested one week after that when a tropical storm came through the area--the repair held perfectly. Overall, I had a great experience. The office staff, estimator, and technicians all displayed exemplary customer service. But I'm docking one star for the high (but not outrageous) cost of the repair, even though I expected it beforehand as I mentioned above.

When I had my house painted, the painter found wood rot under the eaves of the back screened in porch. I called Tadlock, who had installed the Duralite roof years ago. They came right out to inspect and saw the seal around perimeter needed replacing, and the material needed to be special ordered. After two weeks, A crew came back, replaced the seal around the perimeter and adjusted some metal flashing and removed and replaced the wood under the eave. The crew was efficient and professional and the price was reasonable. I am happy with the work and recommend Tadlock for any roof installation or repair.

Tadlock did our roof in 2010. A few weeks ago we discovered a leak around the chimney enclosure. While I appreciated Tadlock's prompt response, and so far the repair appears to have been a success, I have been unable to get a clear explanation as to why this relatively young roof developed a leak that required a repair for which i paid $1050. The person sent out to look at the problem, the repair people and the production manager all told me different things.

No one could explain to me why whatever issues that led to this breach were not addressed when the roof was done in 2010. Tadlock advertises a lifetime workmanship warranty. However, as a result of my experience, I would not recommend the company or use them in the future because i don't trust that they would stand behind their work.

I recently had my roof replaced and everything promised was delivered. Beautiful look, excellent communication, and a thorough clean up!

Never again. Small repair job, poorly done, Dale Tadlock wouldn't do anything to make it right. Wouldn't even come look at my complaint about their poor repair.

Tadlock staff were professional and explained exactly what needed to be done. It took less than 3 weeks to get a date to start the job on my metal roof, but in fairness I am out in the middle of nowhere and 2.5 hrs from their shop. They sent 2 workers who did fast excellent work and roof was fixed same day! They even cleaned my skylights! I'm very happy with the service and job. Price wise they are medium- high but I guess its worth it! I highly recommend!

DO NOT PAY UPFRONT. This company will NOT reimburse you back for OVER quoted and UNUSED material that they keep.

Tadlock was on point every step of the way. They gave a quick and reasonable quote. They scheduled us in right away and was on time with every detail. They were prompt in answering questions both before and after the roof was installed.

Fair price and good work. Glitch in communication for followup due to sales rep leaving but after a month we reconnected and worked it all out.

Can't recommend. Tadlock installed a traditional shingle roof on my main house and replaced the flat roof on the attached apartment. To be fair, the shingle roof is fine. It's a different story with the $6K flat roof. I was told the only maintenance required would be to repaint the reflective top coat every 10 years. In fact, in less than 10 years I've had two substantial leaks.

Most recently the rep stated that the material installed should not have been used on my roof, but upon learning that they did the installation and it was warranted by them, all Tadlock will do is patch the leaks with the same material. Now they won't even respond to my emails and it's inevitable that the roof will leak again. So to sum up, I spent about $6,000 (roughly $6 per square foot) on a roof that now needs to be replaced after only 10 years. UPDATE: The flat roof has now been repaired. Thanks to Mr. Tadlock for personally seeing that my concerns were satisfactorily resolved

Tadlock Roofing did an excellent job on repairing our roof after Hurricane Matthew. They were on time and completely professional. Their pricing was great and most important the holes in our roof were completely fixed in a timely fashion.

Shingle roof turned out satisfactorily. Although they had to come back to realign skylights - which is done quite easily from atop the roof system with a tape measure the first time. 2) family members received roofing nails punctured into our feet 3) times since completion, among the almost 100) nails I have found on my roof, in my yard, stuck in fascia trim or in my car tire.

They damaged one metal panel on my awning on accident. Took them 2 Two+ weeks to come out with a replacement ( awning left open to the elements while waiting ), they then damaged the replacement. Two weeks later they come out and fix the replacements but destroyed the flashing and essentially placed exposed screws wherever they had to overcome the monstrosity.

Of course it looked horrible from underneath and it leaks. Workmanship was very poor on the metal panels.broken off screw head and stripped screws as well. I have installed miles of metal roofing and can honestly say I have never seen so many mistakes made on 2) 6'-0 long panels in my life. Unknown to me, the replacement panel was a different gauge/thickness then the existing panels.

When I went on the panels to blow out the gutters ( done dozens of times in the past ) it buckled and became damaged too. 1+ weeks later they came out and dropped 12) replacement panels for the entire awning. Literally - placed them in my driveway and told me they were at my house. 1) of the 12) was damaged from their transporting in the back of their work truck. So, I do not have enough panels to change my entire awning to try and fix / match the mess they started. I will be re-sheeting my awning the right way. Something I should not have to do - at all.

Had them put on my new roof 10 years ago and all went fine like you would expect for $10,000. Every few years the dryer, which vents through the roof, would take to long to dry though. I bought a $40 brush kit that hooks to a drill to clean out the pipe all the way to the roof vent that Tadlock installed. First time it improved the drying, the last couple times not so much.

I climbed on the roof to look at the installed vent and discovered there was a black mesh around the exit holes inside the vent. This mesh is catching the lint and blocking the vent. Curiously there's a second vent going to the kitchen exhaust fan that doesn't have any mesh in it. They put the vents in the wrong positions. I figured they made a mistake and would come remove the black mesh so my dryer would dry properly.

I told the sales rep from Tadlock about this and he came out to look at it. He walked around the roof and gave me a ballpark figure of $500 to repair their mistake! I figured they'd work with me so I told him I'd pay for shingles they might need if they'd supply the labor to remove the mesh. Never heard back. Moral is to inspect your roof mounted dryer vents after they replace your roof because when your dryer stops drying you're going to be well out of the warranty period.

Excellent response and repair. Office staff is friendly, empathetic and efficient. Consultant responded quickly to my call and in getting me an estimate. Service crew was prompt, did the job quickly and was friendly. We were fortunate to get our roof repair before Hurricane Irma threatened. I will call them again when we need roof repair or replacement.

Be careful with this company. I called TR because I knew of the owner from years back. The salesman came to house -- looked at the job and gave me a price of $2000 to install skylights. John, the salesperson was insistent and anxious for me to sign their contract before scheduling installation. His big pitch was the integrity of Dale Tadlock and how honest he was.

I waited 3 weeks for the appointed day - nothing happened -- I made 3 phone calls-- trying to figure out what was happening. 2 days later I get a phone call from a person speaking broken English -- this man stated he was at my house to install skylights --but he couldn't install skylights because there were no holes cut in each the roof. I called TR office and thereafter came a series of calls and apparent confusion, then the putt-off. Finally, the next day, John the salesman text me (guess he didn't have guts to call) to say that he just found out that TR no longer cuts holes in roofs to install skylight. And, that I needed to find another company to cut the holes and TR would come and install skylights. Is that not the most ignorant policy?

I stated that I expected TR to honor there contract. The Salesman said "no" they would not - and that the owner - Dale Tadlock, would call me. Never happened- now two weeks later. Guess Dale didn't have the guts to call either. So much for integrity and honor. Guess this integrity only works when it's profitable for Dale Tadlock Roofing.

Super easy process from beginning to end. The estimate was right on. The crew worked as a team and the job got done in a day. They cleaned up every tiny bit and left my yard better and cleaner than before they came. Now, it is raining cats and dogs and no leaks! I could not be happier with the whole experience. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a roofing company.

I will add that their office staff also really knows customer service. They were just super to work with. Oh, and thanks, y'all for those brownies. They were a surprising and wonderful customer appreciation gift.

These people are great, best estimates, best on site workers, they did my dad who had always had a problem with his roof leaking on a add on room fr many years, every year another hard rain, leaking again, Tadlock came out free estimate, work same week that was 2 years ago, no problems. Dads a happy man, ! I have some now around my fireplace, and boots, he is coming to do mine, Friday, will get back and give a review on just how well mine experence has been. Thanks Maryvanessa

I currently live in North Carolina and own a home in Tallahassee Florida. I have tenants in this property and when they informed me there was a leak in the roof I called Tadlock the next day. They sent a technician out immediately and I had repair quote in less than 5 days. Judging by the cost of repairs and age of the roof I also decided to get a full replacement quote as well.

Both quotes were done free of charge and were completed in a timely manner. I chose to go with replacing the roof and the staff in every aspect was extremely helpful. They were able to answer any of my questions any time I called and were able to reschedule my roof replacement around my tenants due date for her newborn child. They also put a temporary patch over the leak free of charge as well.

The whole replacement was completed in two days. I felt that every time I talked with any of their employees that they actually cared about the well being of the family and my level of satisfaction. Hands down the best experience I have had working with any company. Highly recommended.
