The company is very, very disorganized and terrible at responding. We had many and have ongoing issues with poor communication and scheduling, including many issues with company not communicating regarding city approval process, timing, schedule, inspections, and delays in getting our system turned on. It also took a ridiculous amount of time getting the quote for the critter guard.

In addition, we have yet to receive the quote for a CT meter that we thought had been installed and wasn't, and we have been waiting for weeks to hear back. The panels look and good and work well so far, but the company is an insanely disorganized mess.

We signed to have solar panels in March of 2021. We did not get our panels installed until late fall/early winter. They weren't turned on until end of December, even though we were promised that they would be in June/July of 2021. Now that they have been "ON" for over 2 months, we still haven't received a credit in our Xcel bill and we cannot get ahold of anyone to tell us what's going on. Through out this whole process, it takes them weeks to answer an email until you pester them, and then it still takes several business days to get ahold of anyone.

Our experience with Suntalk Solar and Apex Solar Solutions was nothing short of spectacular. The installation of the solar panels and electrical work was timely and done with quality. I will be recommending them to others that are looking for solar. Service:Installation

OUTSTANDING experience all around! From the initial sales experience with Brad, to negotiating with the owners, to the installation crew, to Denby who made sure everything was on track and taken care of - this experience really does warrant the 5-star rating. They didn't miss a beat. We were able to secure the best quality solution (I did a TON of research and recommend you do as well) for an amazing price, without any issues whatsoever.

They not only did what they said they would, they kept me informed every step of the way. We couldn't be more excited to be part of the Solar movement, and of all the companies I researched and engaged with, these folks were the cream of the crop in every regard at every turn. Again, do your homework. Get competitive bids and make sure you research the stability of the companies you receive bids from (price shouldn't be the only consideration as there are some pretty shady folks in this industry).

Be sure to ask Brad about the pros and cons of the other deals - he will be honest and straight with you. With an investment of this size, you really need to be able to rely and trust the folks you are working with - especially as this isn't the most intuitive purchase you'll ever make; but with some due diligence and the folks at SunTalk in the mix, I'm sure as you conduct your research, you'll quickly learn, as we did, that you couldn't be in better hands!

My solar system needed to be removed and then reinstalled. Our roof was being replaced. They were very responsive. Another competitor never returned my phone calls.

We just got our solar online and we are super excited to see how the system will save us $$. Sun Talk was great to work with - Jordan is incredibly knowledgeable and Elisa was awesome on the administrative side getting things going. Installation was easy and not disruptive at all - barely knew they were here (and quick - 26 panels installed). If you are thinking of solar I would definitely recommend Sun Talk.

There was a number of miscommunications, or lack of communication. The electrician was out more than once for work to be done on the panel and the conduit which had to be changed from the original diagrams. Plus I have not received a rebate check, and did not receive the tax rebate information. While the overall process was fine, the expectations set a high bar that they really did not meet in total. I might recommend them to someone else. it would be my advice to shop around.

Had a great install experience with SunTalk. They handled everything and kept me informed every step of the way. Installers and electricians were courteous and professional. Our project manager, Elisa, answered all my questions and provided all the info I asked for, not to mention handling all the permitting (even dealing with the HOA). Thumbs up!

Love SunTalk Solar and Apex Solar. Everyone is terrific. Danny and Laura answered all my questions and are truly available through the whole process. Can't believe solar really doesn't cost anything extra. NET zero cost (for most people). Why isn't everyone doing this even in the current crisis. NO money out of pocket----loan is nominal and there should be a tax incentive (hopefully still available). Even if not, so worth it to help save the planet and increase the value of your home. ROCK ON SOLAR AND APEX/SUNTALK SOLAR COMPANY!

As a buyer, you should be very careful with choosing Sun Talk Solar. After starting the process we payed the down payment and worked with Sun Talk to get the installation set up. We were told that based on our number of panels and the steep pitch of our roof it would likely take one to one and half days to install our system. The Sun Talk installers showed up between 10-11 am and left before 3pm every day because it was "too hot to work." It took three days for the crew to install our system and the crew was more interested in smoking in the front yard instead of working.

The last day the instal crew mentioned that they couldn't finish the instal because the electrician did not do his part properly and "he would just need to come back and just figure it out." Three of our neighbors approached us after the instal asking what took so long and what was wrong with the crew. The day of our city inspection a Sun Talk electrician came out to trouble shoot our system and found multiple wires loose and not connected properly.

The day we passed our city inspection I contacted Sun Talk to complete the paperwork to have our XCEL net meter installed. I was told that it can take XCEL 2-4 weeks to come out to install the net meter. After three weeks with no net meter I contacted our Sun Talk representative to get an update. After some investigation our representative notified me that she never submitted the paperwork to XCEL and the 2-4 week wait would start now that she finally submitted the paperwork.

At this point it had been over three weeks since passing our inspection and we had an incomplete system and all our representative from Sun Talk could do was say sorry. At this point I expressed to Sun Talk that I had very little faith that our system would work properly. After the first snow storm of the year, 9 of our solar panels quit working. This went unnoticed by myself, Sun Talk and the monitoring company for 2 months until I noticed our elevated XCEL bill.

I contacted Sun Talk and they said that they could send out at technician but there would be an upfront fee and hourly rate for their repairs. After explaining our entire solar experience to the representative they offered to send a technician out for free. After a few hours of trouble shooting he discovered more loose wires and disconnected junction wires on the solar panels.

Now our system has been operational for the two months without problems however we have squirrels nesting under the panels as Sun Talk does not install critter guards. Sun Talk said they could install the critter guards but I would need to pay $950 for the installation and parts. I have tried to make this review as unemotional as possible but please be cautious with choosing Sun Talk as your solar company.

Denver Solar Leasing is the best option for adding solar panels to your home or business. We didn't even know about the solar leasing program until we spoke with SunTalk Solar. They are extremely knowledgeable about residential solar panels and the available solar leasing programs saved us a ton of money on our installation.
