Very professional staff and high quality installers. The installer/technicians were on time, professional and paid close attention to the details of making my installation perfect. I was very pleased with their work and the Trane unit installed works great and is extremely quiet! I'm very happy with the product and work I received from LaVerene & Son AC.

We were pleased with our experience with Laverne and Son. So pleased, in fact - we chose them after seeing multiple vendors for quotes and consultations. Out of 5 different consults over 4 years - they were hands down the RIGHT fit for us. We didn't feel pressured or sold to. We were quoted a fair price. While theirs was not the lowest bid, theirs was the most fair and just seemed honest.
We made a decision on a Monday, and installation started on a Wednesday. Three long days for the installers, as we had to essentially gut everything and start over. When the job was finished, I almost felt guilty for the great price we paid. I can only think of one negative, but it isn't really worthy of commenting here. Maybe just a personal preference.
I'd say for the size of the job and the experience we had, leaving with only one negative thing to say is hardly a deterrent. We will do business with and refer this local, family-owned business forever now.

I called LaVerne &Son Electrical A/C. To do Electrical work at my home and I am so glad I chose them because firstly they treat people like family. I am very thankful for the work that the Electrician did for me in my home. I forget his name. I don't remember peoples names well, but anyways he is a professional and They are a professional Company.

Great experience with this company. My heater went out last week. I Called on a Monday around mid-day and a technician was out within 2 hours. My heater/AC system was installed in the early 90's and was informed it was needing to be replaced. Wednesday morning their crew was on time at 8am and done by noon. No complains with personnel. They were Quick, polite, and professional.

Technician, Ray, is notably one of the most thorough and caring technician out there. But then again, all of the service technicians with LaVerne and Son are top notch. Ray represents the integrity and trust of the company. That is why I have used LaVerne & Son for over a decade. They truly care and look out for their customers, just like Ray did again on today's service call. I am grateful for his wonderful work ethic and the peace of mind I have that everything has been taken care of and good to go.

Tech showed up promptly. Company also sent a text informing me he was on his way. He was professional, asked great questions and let me drone on a little.(appreciated that he listened). Checked out the system and fully service my AC unit. During and after he informed me of the steps he was taken and what the issues were. I will definitly keep their number and call if I ever have any additional issues.

Excellent customer service! The office answered the phone right away and scheduled me a same day visit. Kyle arrived that afternoon and was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the issue to me and found a cost effective solution to get a bit more life out of my older AC unit. Very impressed and will go with them when it's time to replace the unit.

Not a pleasure doing business here. felt like the Tech just graduated from Hvac night school and was under pressure to sell a 15k new system. He did not make a recommendation for repairs even though they were possible and pushed a new expensive system. Found another reputable company to replace a system for 6k cheaper. When I told him it was to expensive he pushed financing, no thanks. They charge $100 just to tell me that.

AC went out yesterday at about 4pm right when it was 106 degrees outside. I called them right away and they scheduled me for the next day between 12-4pm. Not ideal, but that's fine I'll work with it. The lady on the phone was very nice and helpful. The next day Kyle called around 1030 saying he's running a bit early and if he could come right now.
Hell yeah you can! It's already getting hot. He quickly fixed it, tuned it, and cleaned the coils cause of all the Bakersfield dust. Very reasonable prices and friendly service. Kyle was really nice and helpful with explaining what went wrong. I highly recommend Laverne and Son for your air conditioning needs.

I've been using LaVerne and Son for years and they've always been great. With other AC companies you'll call and leave a message and sometimes days will go by before they call you back with a major attitude (if at all). This doesn't happen with LaVerne and Son. If you get a voicemail you're always called back quickly and they're always super professional.
Their techs are great and when I let them into the house I'm not overly conscious of the fact that a stranger is in my house because they're all just super nice, friendly guys. Prices are good too. Really there's no reason to use anybody else. LaVerne and Son is everything you hope to get in an A/C and Heating company.

Our experience has not been positive. The wife of the owner is so rude, thinks she is better than anyone else, doesn't answer the phone. She's so unpleasant. The tech came to my home and immediately told us $4,000 repair without showing us any proof, until we requested multiple times. We finally saw photos that basically show nothing. In my opinion, if you use this company get a second, maybe third opinion.

Well Fargo doesn't even do personal loans anymore. The service tech and the owner are very nice, but the wife is so rude that I will never do business with them. She's reminds me of a Karen. All of this review is our opinion and no one forced us to write it. Again, our personal experience.

I called the end of last week and they were able to get out to my house quickly. Kyle was very professional and knowledgeable about what he was here for. Kyle did not try to sell us on anything or push us to buy product that was not necessary. Being up front and telling us like it is is an amazing way to keep our business and Kyle did just that. We asked his opinion and we were given a very professional answer and for that we are thankful. We will be purchasing our unit from them in the coming months.

More than worth an update! So Saturday my AC unit started having issues, it was still running but the air didn't feel very cold and it was struggling to keep the temperature in my house below 85. I didn't notice it until around 6pm that night so I gave Rex a call to see if they were available to come out next week. Rex told me they were pretty much booked up through Wednesday but that they installed my unit and it was unacceptable for it to be having problems so he promised me they would find a way to fit me in Monday morning.
As promised a tech showed up around 10am and got right to work on it. He identified the problem and fixed it quickly. He was very thorough testing all areas of the unit and making sure it was running to his and my satisfaction. The unit was under full warranty so it didn't cost me anything for parts or labor. Laverne and Son has outstanding customer support and they really care, they made sure I was down for as little time as possible and made sure to get it fixed and let me know what was going on. I'll never use another company for my HVAC needs.

I've had them out several times in the last few years and every time I feel like they went above and beyond. Last time the tech cleaned and tidied up a different company's mess and this time the tech was quick to find the problem and saved me from having expensive repairs. I appreciate their honesty and I know that when the time comes for a major repair it will be because it's time and not because I'm being taken advantage of.

I scheduled an appointment with this company to have my rental home AC serviced about a week ago for a 2-4pm window on Friday afternoon. Was called Friday morning and informed they overbooked and needed to reschedule. It was urgent that I had my AC serviced prior to my cleaner and painter coming the following morning. The receptionist contacted the owner about the situation and he said he would personally meet me at 8am since they had already cancelled on me once.
So after showing up at the home at 8am this morning, no one came. I called several times with no answer. About 45 minutes passed and I drove across town back home, to then receive an auto call that my tech was on his way. I called back again, to finally get an answer that I was in fact wrong, they schedule "windows" not specific times. I insisted they had in fact scheduled me for 8am and she promptly stated she would cancel the tech.
Her attitude was the not in the least bit empathetic and instead rather rude and "not my problem." I'm sure this company provides good service but not being able to follow through with appointments and not taking ownership for the lack of communication amongst all employees isn't acceptable.

Our AC stooped working and found out the AC unit needed to be replaced and Rex and his staff went beyond and above to help our family by accommodating us and ordering the unit within a couple of days. LaVerne & Son ( father, son and grandson business-:) has been providing services where my husband works for over 25+ years and they're not only family owned, but responsible, clean, honest, fairly priced ( not the cheapest) and go far and beyond to provide an honest experienced!

Yearly we have our air conditioner serviced in the spring for the upcoming summer. We choose Laverne & Son because they are honest and knowledgeable. They always give us great service and show up when they say they will. Yesterday was no exception. I asked for a no contact appointment because of the COVID-19 restrictions and they were happy to do so. We highly recommend them.

Life savers! Came over to my cabin house and my furnace wasn't working! It was Sunday and I was worried no one would be able to drive into the mountains to help. I searched them up and gave them call and offered to help me. They assured me I would be taken care of and made the journey from Bakersfield to PMC. They were able to find the problem and fix it with no issue. Pricing is very reasonable considering the last minute call for help.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone who has property over in this direction, or for anyone who needs work done on AC/heaters. Thanks again! Definitely saving in my emergency contact book. Good looking out! 10/10.

Called with a question about installing a new A/C in a home that did not previously have one. The girl, didn't get her name, on the phone was very helpful answering all my questions even with the little information I actually had. Scheduled an estimate, Rex came out quickly, answered all my questions, gave me quotes on the spot. They were able to install my new system within a week. Brandon and his crew came out, very professional, answered all my questions, demonstrated how to use the system and told me to call with any questions or concerns stating someone would come out if I had any issues. Excellent service. Couldn't recommend them more highly! Don't hesitate. Call 'em!
