Santa Theresa Tile Works was born in 1986 with a desire to create large public art pieces that could be enjoyed for generations. As more people discovered Santa Theresa-style mosaics, popularity grew with more projects being commissioned for commercial and residential spaces in addition to public art.
After 2 years in a downtown studio, Santa Theresa Tile Works spent 10 years at Susan Gamble's home, working in her backyard. In 1998, Santa Theresa Tile Works moved into their current location on 6th Ave and 6th Street to increase capacity. This allowed for a showroom space and a larger studio for tile-making.

I know your wondering what to do this weekend I too often find myself wondering what to do then I remember this hidden. Imagine going out on the town with you and your loved one Or a group of your closest friends or family members. Everything can go wrong if not planned correctly I love this area in general because of how much there is to do The way they plan events down will make sure your night goes amazing. Timely and efficient you gotta love it!
It's priced fair and inexpensive so anyone on a budget can come out and have a great night and you know that's hard to do with no money. It's so spectacular the lights the scenery the environment I love it! Really good work from this business and how they contribute to the community There is seriously so many places. More importantly when you go in the staff is so friendly and willing to help.
You know I would not pass this place by it's hidden but worth exploring and I promise you'll have plenty of stories to share on social media. The amount of things to photograph around here will make your head spin if you have even the slightest ability you'll find inspiration surely.

Wonderful place to let your inner artist out! Donna, Lynnie and Bob are amazing. I took their 6 day intensive tile making class and had the best vacation of my life. They walk you through the entire process on how to create your own tile for mosaic patterns. Glazing is gone over and fine detailing. If you want to stop in and pick your own already made pieces that's an option as well.
