Ron's Landscape

I recently retired from a career with Illinois Farm Bureau. Now I am embarking on a retirement career of something I've always enjoyed doing. I was born into a family nursery and landscape business in a rural community in southern Illinois and spent many summers working amongst beautiful plant life.

Back in 1967 I enlisted in the Marine Corps and was sent to Vietnam. After two years in Vietnam and a total of 3 years in the Corps, I was honorably discharged and entered Southern Illinois University as a business student with a minor in computer programming. Although I thoroughly enjoyed landscaping and working with plant material, I also wanted to spread my wings and explore other areas as well as move into a larger community.
