We had our roof done about 1.5 years ago. The process was quick and straight-forward from the initial inspection and communication to the completed roof along with some extras that I asked for. Aside from nails being left on the ground leading to a damaged car tire that needed to be replaced, Moran Roofing did a fantastic job, reimbursed me for the tire and at the end of the day, they did a great job. No leaks which is really what's most important. You don't get a better leak test than with the most recent storm. HIGHLY RECOMMEND MORAN ROOFING!

Called and made an appointment for Brett to come out on Wednesday, September 9. Wednesday came, and he failed to show up for the appointment. I called and Brett made excuses and said someone was supposed to have called me to reschedule. I rescheduled for Friday, September 11, with reassurances from Brett that he would be here. Friday came, and Brett was a no-show again!

I called and spoke to the receptionist, who said she would call me back. Another hour went by and I called back again -- she hadn't been able to reach Brett. So, after failing twice to keep a scheduled appointment, I definitely will not be doing business with this company and I certainly cannot recommend them to anyone else.

I had Moran Roofing put a new roof and add more insulation to my house approx 10 years ago. I was very happy then and even happier now 10 years later. Every summer my interior of the house was incredibly hot and remained way too hot into the evening with the air cond going. I couldn't figure out why until I had an electrician here to install a ceiling fan and I told him how hot this house was.

He said he knew why. He took me out front and said look at your air vents under the attic eaves, there's insulation blocking the vents so no cool evening air can get in and the hot afternoon air cannot escape. I called Moran Roofing who installed my roof & insulation and explained it. They came out to San Jose again, their employee couldn't have been nicer, wore his mask the whole time and used a leaf blower - blew the insulation back away from the 7 vents.

Right after that we had 109 degree heat for several days but my house was very comfortable. What a difference! A big THANK YOU TO BRETT MORAN for making me a happy customer again. My sister is a Realtor in the East Bay and used Moran Roofing for her house. I'm so glad for the recommendation. Thank you again Brett!

Critical: Value The star ratings may not apply. I called them up and they said they are not certified for Tile Roofs! Most new constructions are tile, so I wonder how may new homes they help.

I had a gutter coming away at one of my rentals. Although the roof was 7 years old I called Moran roofing. It took them a little while, since it had nothing to do with the roof, but they did send someone out to reattach the gutter. Just to show they do standby their work. Moran Roofing removed and replaced my roof, did all the dry rot repairs and did a great cleanup. The roof looks great and it will last for a very long time. Robert was very professional and good to work with. They started within a week from signing the contract and finished about a week later. The price was right too.

I am very pleased with my experience with Moran Roofing. They removed my old roof, repaired dry rot and installed the new roof in a matter of a few days. When the city inspector came and saw who had done the roof he said he knew it was done properly because that's how Moran operates, which made me feel even better about using Moran! Their employees are very conscientious, polite and hard workers.

Moran Roofing did the work on the roofs in our association. Come to find out only a few years after the roof was put on that they left a big hole which exposed my attic to allow in any kind of critter. Also when they did the work on the roof workers were sloppy, left a big mess in my yard. Nice to have to have a patch job done after spending good sum of money for a new roof. Would not have any work done by Moran Roofing Company.

Jason and his team exceeded all expectations! I must say, superb service and dedication each time from their entire team with a great customer service all around from receptionist, working crew and of course Jason who is extremely professional and passionate about his job. Moran's crew was always prompt and on time and exercised meticulous precision to detail on their projects.

Two years ago Jason's team helped successfully and promptly determine a source of a leak in the house which allowed me to quickly address the problem before it became costly and got out of hand. They've also later helped with another job of installing two different and complicated skylights. I was also impressed that Jason followed up several times after we had rain after each product was installed. It is great to see a company that stands proudly by their job done. Simply outstanding!

A skylight in the den leaked and caused exterior and interior damage. Moran Roofing completed the exterior work and with the severe storms following the repair everything was perfectly dry. Jason recommended Tomas Sulvaran 925-206-1729 to remove the damaged sheetrock, tape, texture the ceiling and paint. He did a fantastic job and his price was very fair. I just recently purchased a home and needed my roof replaced. I had received many estimates for the replacement, but Moran Roofing was the only one who sent information about their company, their products and services. I called and spoke to Jason and he explained everything and made me feel at ease. The crew removed the roof, repaired dry rot, installed installation and put the new roof on in two days! I am pretty sure the yard was cleaner when they left! I am so thrilled about their service! Thank you so much Moran Roofing!

Moran roofing was easy to work with and did a great job installing our new roof in 2006. When we put the house on the market a few years later they came back out, inspected it, and wrote up a roof report for us to include in our listing. at no charge! Now that our new house has a roof leak we called Moran. Unfortunately for us they are too busy for a small repair job, but they referred us to another roofer who got it fixed quickly.

The only complaint I do have is the long wait in getting the work done. They're clearly busy and backed up for months so if you need a roof right away they probably aren't the company for you.

Moran did a re roof job on our home. Fast, friendly, excellent service. Jason was great in that he followed up regarding our satisfaction. Would highly recommend.

Moran did my composite shingle roof back in 2008. My uncle (who is a contractor and has used them before) called them out for me and the price was reasonable so I went with them. They did a good job on the roof and I haven't had any problems with it. I can't comment on their overall tidiness since I had a lot of other exterior construction going on at the time, but one problem I had was a dirty hood vent in my kitchen after the roof was installed.

The vent goes straight up through the roof and they got a lot of pebbles/asphalt from the shingle material in it so it would make noise and drop pebbles and debris onto my cooktop. I called them about it right away and they came out and removed the hood and cleaned it so problem ultimately solved rather quickly. Still, I'd rather my repair people be a little more careful to begin with and not have to deal with follow-up fixes.

One other complaint, when they removed the roof there were some small sections of board that needed to be replaced (as is usual I'm sure) but their price to repair those was high so I did it myself. It was easy enough that I felt it could have been done as part of the roof job or just a little more. All in all, its a 3.0 - 3.5 star job. I recently called Moran again and left a msg to get a quote on some roof modifications and never heard back. Called again and talked to the receptionist and never heard back. Called a third time and talked to the receptionist and never heard back.

I guess they only want the big jobs and don't care about the smaller stuff (OR future business.) Do I really need to hound THEM to give them MY business?! What's wrong with this picture?! I can understand being busy, but simply say that. "We're fully booked through this month, but we can get back to you early next month" OR "We don't do smaller projects just re-roofs" would have been fine. Simple. Don't make promises you're not going to keep. I have other properties in the area and multiple family members in the construction and real estate business. Moran will not be getting any of our future business.
