Tri-City Roofing

We used Tri-City for our reroofing job this year. Our home has a nearly 40yr old concrete tile roof, and the tiles were in good shape but the underlayment (if you can even call what the builders used underlayment) was starting to go. This was a common problem in our HOA, and we were referred to Tri-City by one of our neighbors. We also had old solar water heating panels that had long since been disconnected, and a shed that needed reroofing as well.

They knocked it all out in a week, as scheduled, even with the last minute request to add the shed. I was really pleased with Tri-City all around. Jeannine in the main office was great, very responsive and always made sure I had the info I needed from the quote process thru the payment. Oscar the foreman was excellent as well, both during the estimate process and once the job was started.

He was pretty no-nonsense and clear whenever I talked with him, and he had good insight into our roof and some recommendations to help reduce future dry rot, aided certainly by having done another roof in our HOA. Lastly, even the workers were great. They weren't like your average workers (or at least stereotypes thereof), chatting it up a lot and taking frequent breaks.

They were hard working and efficient, and went to good lengths to clean up each day and particularly at the end of the job. My wife was home during most of the job, and she could hear them chatting a bit, but not nearly as much as she'd expected. The key point for me was when I got home early one of the days, one of the workers waved me to stop before I pulled up to make sure there weren't any stray nails where I was about to pull up the car, and then gave me the okay. Overall, great experience.

Tri-City Roofing replaced our roof last year and we couldn't be happier! We purchased a home with several leaks and obvious wood rot; Tri-City took care of all our needs in 2.5 days- stripped, repaired, re-shingled, installed beautiful new gutters (they even hooked up the downspout back up to our rain barrel!). Everyone was courteous and professional, they were responsive by phone and email, and super easy to schedule. Jeannine was our point of contact from our initial inquiry to receiving a hard copy of our warranty.

She provided a comprehensive estimate at a price point that beat out 3 other local competitors plus the quickest timeline to completion. The crews were fast but they took extra care around my garden beds and our cattery. I can't rave enough about their customer service! We wanted solar tubes installed at the time of the re-roofing, unfortunately Tri-City didn't have the product we wanted but they agreed to work with an outside company to ensure the installation didn't undermine our roofing warranty.

This was AMAZING because the initial tube installation was not vented correctly, Tri-City sent their own crew to install a new vent (matching our other vents) at no additional cost! So if you're considering re-roofing with or without solar tubes, do yourself a favor and go with Tri-City, they'll make sure the job is done right (and FAST!)

Critical: Professionalism, Quality They left debris/dust covered on our personal belongings in the garage though they said it was covered with some tarp but still left a BIG mess. Called the office and it seem I was not entitled to report since I'm just the renter and I was advised to refer it to my land lord. Service: Roof installation

We had a roof leakage and called Tri-City Roofing. Greg came to inspect, and found a small hole. He fixed it during the inspection, and told us that if it leaks again, call him for a quotation for repair. I offered to pay for the time and material but he would not accept. Now after another heavy storm, I am pretty sure that he actually fixed it (without charging me a penny). Greg will be the first professional I will call next time when I have any roof work!

Our 80 year old tile roof finally failed on a section of our home where the roof peak wasn't made to accommodate a tile roof. It occurred during a brutal rainstorm just a few weeks ago. Tri-City was quick to respond to our request although they were inundated with calls due to the rainstorm. Their foreman came to assess our roof a couple of days later and mapped out a creative plan to address this particular section of our roof. They recently completed the work and we are incredibly happy with the result!

We just had our nearly 100 year old house re-roofed by Tri-City Roofing. From the first encounters with the owner, Greg, and the office staff, to many encounters with the foreman, Oscar, and down the line with all the various workers and subcontractors, this is a well-oiled machine of a team. They delivered a beautiful roof, showed up when they said they would, and were always polite and affable.

I don't know how it usually goes for them, but I'm pretty sure our job was pretty complicated, as jobs go. We have solar panels on the roof and to maintain the warranty of that system required coordinating with a solar contractor for removal and re-installation. Our roof had some dry rot problems that I wanted to repair myself, which required a partial tear-off of the roof so that I could get access to the problem spots.

The Tri-City Roofing team allowed me the freedom to coordinate all this other work, and gave me great advice on how to coordinate with the work they were doing, so that I was able to make the repairs to my own satisfaction--in other words, they worked around all of the complications of my job, and they did it with a smile on their faces. And like I wrote earlier, the job they did is drop-dead beautiful. We couldn't be happier.

Greg, Jeanine and their crew stand out compared to other companies. We were selecting across several options, and they were fast, factual, and crisp in their answers. Friendly, described a set of options with their recommendation, and why they made that recommendation. Their care in preparing for the job comes through - asking detailed questions - which helped me feel we wouldn't have surprises later. Tri-City was the only one out of the firms we were talking to that actually knew the facts.

I had to correct others based on what I had learned talking to Greg and his crew - a surprise that many companies don't even know the code or permit requirements for each city. I also learned where some firms were making recommendations that really were not necessary, and Tri-City made me feel like I could trust them and I wasn't being pressed for marginal options.

This is a Family Business and I am so happy I went with them. Jose and his team were wonderful. They are Punctual, respectful and worked their tales off for 2 weeks putting on a new 3 level roof and new gutters on my house and garage. They cleaned up after themselves everyday and always gave a run down of what was next. Amazing Amazing Amazing! There price was a little higher then some of my bids and a a lot lower then others. They are really helpful in answering all my questions and giving a lot of information for my steel metal roof. They also make great suggestions on making informed decisions before installing solar panel on the roof.

Highly recommended they did a great job Prompt and professional. No bull or nickel and diming we had a lot of wood rot more than that was visible they took care of everything above and beyond. All of the work crew work clean and courteous did not leave any mess behind Quality work With a guarantee they stand behind. I had one piece of trim on the backside of the house that I didn't like the edge of they came and replaced no question asked Perfect job

Tri City Roofing is the best. They communicate quickly and are always friendly on the phone. With the rainy season everyone needs work done and roofers are very busy. Tri City took care of the issues that needed attention to not cause a leak and then scheduled the rest of the job once they had more time and no rain. The two brothers that worked for us were friendly and helpful and I know they took pride in their work. Tri City has replaced two Composition Roofs on our 50 year old house in Fremont and now did repair work on our Tile roof. I Trust them to do a good job.

These guys are great. Had them come out to address a small leak in my roof. They pin pointed the leak and they recommended doing maintenance of the entire roof which consisted of fixing the leak, replacing some broken tiles, cleaning the gutters and general maintenance. The crew was great and the office was very helpful in coordinating the process and communicating what was going on. We are pleased with the service and level of work and we highly recommend this company.

Been using Tri-City Roofing for awhile now. Jeannie was great on scheduling (Foreman) Oscar to come out and give an estimate on repairs. Oscar's A-team crew was on time and did a great job fixing the valley's on my title roof.

Used them to do some minor roof repairs using their summer special coupon. They were very courteous, professional and prompt. After the first winter storm, there was a minor leak. They squeezed me in extremely promptly saying they have an after hours answering service and to call them right away even in the middle of the night next time and covered me under their warranty.

All the office staff are extremely prompt and professional and Oscar, the estimator who came to do estimates and look into the leak was extremely professional and prompt. I wish all businesses took their job this seriously!

Super impressed overall! Someone picked up the phone right away when I called, they came out right away and gave me a quote! Quality of job was on point and Laura was super professional. It was so refreshing to have such a great experience, it's rare to get good business with companies nowadays, nobody really cares about you as a customer, especially if it's a small job, Tri-City Roofing cares and does good work for ALL their customers, big or little money.

Tri-City Roofing just completed a roof replacement for our house in Menlo Park. Everything about our experience with Tri-City was spectacular. We got bids from 4 different roofers. Not only did Tri-City give us the best price, but they were clear and honest in setting expectations on the process. They were the only roofer who clearly understood the regulations in Menlo Park regarding permitting and energy-efficient roofing. (WARNING: there are many unethical contractors who offered to do improper work without permits).

Once we signed the contract, Tri-City pushed Menlo Park to get us permits and inspections ASAP (we were in a rush and also had potential rain coming). They completed the work in only a few days and communicated well throughout the process. I would give 6 stars if possible!

We just had our roof tiles replaced and also maintenance done. I am very happy with them. Their customer service is amazing. Jeannie was wonderful! I recommended them to my neighbor.

Removed and replaced entire roof. The estimate said the roof would take 2-3 days, but they almost completely finished in 1 day, just had to finish the next day with 2 hours of work. When meeting with Newark City inspector he said that Tri-City Roofing is one of the best roofing companies in the Bay Area. He said they never have problems or violations and all work is done right the first time.

Arrived on time and was very courteous. The quality of the work was outstanding and reasonably priced.

The owner (probably paid) removed my yelp review, i normally come back to post again because I think this violates my first amendment rights. Here is my review: this company is very expensive, came in the highest bid all of all 5 companies I contacted. When I asked for clarifications, the office manager called back and answered zero questions. Because she was not the person came to my house. Basically "whatever" attitude. I posted to public to urge you NOT WASTING your time here! Lastly, an advise to the owner- let good reviews bury bad ones. And do not call me!

I got a free estimate in a short time. Oscar discussed options for venting my garage and worked with my ideas! Then the follow up work scheduled shortly after I approved / confirmed the proposal. The worker did a good job of installing two eyebrow vents in about an hour and cleaned up after himself. Great Job!

I couldn't have been more blessed than to have such a trust worthy company to complete the reroofing for my mother. Their entire staff was PROFESSIONAL, TRUE TO THEIR WORD, and SENISTIVE.

How have I not left a review before? Well seeing that my roof was replaced in 2011 and I still have them come give the roof a once over and clean the gutters yearly. I think that speaks volumes. Not only have I had TriCity replace my roof. But they are now my Dad's go to roofing needs company. AND I have referred them to my friends to use. The best review a company can get is someone continuing to be a customer and referring others to use their business. PS - They even work with my dogs. With a little scheduling heads up and information on the dogs the company and workers are very accommodating!

This is my second time do the roofing with them. Jeannie is so helpful with all the details of order. Workers are so diligent with great working attitudes. Fairly pricing. Will use them again, no doubt!

I am writing this review today to share an experience of extraordinary customer service. After roofing my home, I discovered what potentially could be a warranty issue. I called the company and got a warm response and a visit to my home from the owner. After reviewing the work, the owner, without hesitation, got his foreman over to take care of it. Then, when I inspected the work when I got home, I had questions. Again, I was met with prompt and courteous service.

They again came back on time and repaired it professionally and quickly without issue. Sometimes, you learn more about a company when there is a problem then if there were no problem at all. I would highly recommend Tri-City roofing for the way that they handled my project.

Back in Jan/Feb when it rained a lot, one of our skylights leaked. Frantically called several roofers, Tri-City was the only one willing to come out to check it in 3 days while others would want us to wait 1-2 weeks. When Greg showed up as scheduled, he immediately went up on the roof and found the clogging arround the skylight caused by moss growth which lead to rainwater buildup and leaking through.

He fixed the problem for us and our skylight has been free of leaking since then. I also like there is always someone in their office working as a liaison between customer and Greg. It makes the communication so much easier. We recommend Tri-City roofing and would use them again for roof repairs and remodeling.

I found this company online when I was researching companies to install a new composition shingle roof on my mobile home. I had been in the roofing industry when I was younger so I knew what I wanted and also the whole process of applying a new roof.
