Four Seasons Lawn Aeration

Last November Four Seasons aerated my lawn, seeded it with Rye grass to keep the yard looking good through the winter until the Kikuya grass could grow back, usually happens by February/March. The rye grass looked great all winter. The Kikuya grass still has not grown back. I believe the aeration went too deep and ripped out all the roots of the Kikuya.

Four Seasons took three weeks to respond to my first call about the grass-less condition in my back yard. They sent out a man this morning to fertilize the yard. He said fertilizer would not bring any grass back. There are no roots to bring back. Four Seasons sent out another man this afternoon to look at condition in my back yard and he says I didn't water enough. I've been watering my back yard, twice a week for 30 years. There's no grass to bring back, no amount of water will bring back grass roots that are not there, they were all removed by an aeration that went too deep. I think you should not use this service. They ruined my back yard. And both men who came out were super rude.

This is the 2nd time I've used Four Seasons Lawn Aeration and am very pleased with their services. We had Matt B. do our lawn and he did a nice job cleaning up and not leaving fertilizer or dirt plugs on our concrete area. They called me about a week before to notify me they would be in the area and to see if I would like my lawn aerated as it was about time. It's approximately every six months they recommended service and they call you to remind you about the time that service is due.

They left the bill at my front door and I pay when I get home. Nice to not be pressured for added services. I wish they could do my backyard but they can't go down that many stairs. You will notice a significant impact on how your lawn will look in about a week. Make sure to water!

I scheduled a aeration service over two weeks ago from Four Season, which was scheduled for today. I got a call last minute mentioning that the person who was supposed to service our lawn, injured his back and they couldn't provide the service today. Totally understand, these things happen and I hope he feels better. However, this is where poor service became an issue.

The next time they could reschedule was in 3 weeks. I asked why I couldn't get in sooner, the women on the phone said they are fully booked and it would be way too much work to call people and reschedule. This is poor resolution to an issue that could have been easily resolved. They provided me a three hour window of time. I am confident they could have fit me in. Now, I am writing a Yelp review which is negative, and I won't stop here.

I was impressed on how easy it was to book an appointment for aerating my yard. They came right on time, did the job and left the invoice on my door! It was so easy and contact less. Thank you!

If you have grass you need this service to make your watering as efficient and economical as possible. This is a top notch company. We have been using them for our residential lawn in Clairemont since the early 90's and they never disappoint. Eric was our technician today, a professional and just a sweetheart.

When Four Seasons Aeration measures your lawn for aeration, they base their prices on measuring "from the air".This is not an accurate measurement and becomes an inaccurate price for their service. They were 3500 square ft and several hundred dollars overcharging for my lawn. When I asked them to come out and do a real on site measurement, they refused. "We cannot be bothered " they told me. "Use another company "-they said I did And unless you want to overpay and deal with people who do not care - You will use another company too

Very Good Company. Especially Doctor Matt Is Great. Did A Wonderful Job on Aerating my Grass. He Gave me A lot Of Guidence About The Type Of Grass & How To Repair My Dried Spots.

Four Seasons Lawn Aeration provided aeration and reseeding in March. Two and 1/2 months later the lawn started to look bad. I have patchy brown spots and places where the seeding did not take. I have called three times with no action taken to help. I also communicated this to their Permagreen person who said he would note it on their report. Four Seasons Lawn Aeration has not shown themselves to be responsive nor responsible.

Their moto is "Expect A Hole Lot More". This usually translates to "don't expect much"! A $25 up charge for soil conditioner was never approved with my lawn aeration request. When I called the owner to see why that was on my bill she said that the conditioner has already been applied so she can't do anything about cutting me a break on the charge for something I didn't ask for.

Why is it that these small businesses haven't figured out how customer service works if they want to retain their customers. They lost me and the landscaping business that referred me to them.

WOW! These guys are professional, hard working, and know about lawns. Matt and Tom worked tirelessly on transforming our lawn. They even helped us fix a broken sprinkler before they left! Superb service and we'll be doing business with them for years to come! Thanks Dominic, Matt, and Tom!

I highly recommend Four Seasons Lawn Aeration. They showed up on time. the aeration itself was deeper than a company I had used in the past. The machine hit a copper pipe I didn't know about and created a small geyser. My house is older and some of the plumbing is wonky. I had to turn off the water to the house to get it to stop. Four Seasons sent a plumber out in about an hour and a half!

The leak was fixed in about 1/2 hour and the water in the house was back on! NO CHARGE TO ME even though it was not their fault! Accidents happen, but Four Seasons is a PREMIER company. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Reasonable price, on time, lawn aerated well, no damaged sprinkler heads. Everything I could ask for!

Eric showed up right in the time window I was given did a quick walk thru and got right to work with the fertilizer and aeration. He was very personable and happily answered my lawn care questions. So this the second time we went theough four seasons and i must say the do a fantastic job. My grass is coming in fuller.somenof the dead spots have filled in. Im not sure how many companies are out there, but i like the job these guys do and the cost is good price for what they do. My lawn wasn't soaking in water and I knew it needed to be aerated and fertilized. I found this company online in April, they came out and did a great job. They even follow up so you don't have to remember when to call them. They came out again today and Michael did a great job! Well worth the $60!

I've been using Four Seasons for a number of years now. They always give a courtesy call to let you know they are going to be in the area, and they always do a fantastic job. Michael Couture was out last time and gave me great information on post care for my lawn.

We've been using this company for at least a decade. They do excellent aerating; very thorough and very deep. It saved our lawn during the drought; and with the recent rains the yard is thriving. We've had MICHAEL the last few times and he is conscientious, clean and careful. We ask for him by name now. We will be exploring their other services. Great value and great customer service.

Our lawn front & back get the works from Four Seasons. Michael Couture marks the sprinkles with flags & aerates the lawn. Then he spreads fertilizer & an application of soil conditioner to improve soil development.

The drought is tough on water supplies so we water as little as possible. The aeration really helps a lot.
