Prompt, professional, personable. I have been a client for years now, and truly would not trust anyone else for my plumbing needs. Large or small jobs, he always makes time in the schedule to fit me in and to accurately and truthfully diagnose the issue.

I have been using Bob's plumbing for 4 years after getting a second opinion with them after a nightmare experience with another plumber when I got my house. This has been the third time I needed their help. Every time they are friendly, clear on the work spec, and do it at a fair price. I highly recommend them!

My 3 year old hot water heater needed to be replaced. I spoke to Frank, he explained everything thoroughly & scheduled me for the next morning. They arrived on time, professional, friendly, knowledgeable. They even noticed another problem I wasn't aware of & corrected that. I highly recommend this company for all of your plumbing needs.

Needed an outside faucet replaced, a leaking kitchen faucet fixed, and wanted a garbage disposal removed and replaced with pipe. Marti & Barry arrived on time, were very professional and efficient, did all the work in about an hour, and were nice and personable while doing the job (and nice to my pups). This wasn't my first time using Bob's Plumbing, and once again I was very pleased with their service and won't hesitate to call them next time I need plumbing help. Great local company.

This was my first time using Bob's Plumbing and I'm very glad I did. Josh and Marty did a fantastic job installing 3 toilets, repairing some incorrectly installed pipes (installed by different company) under my sink and replacing the supply line to my dishwasher. Bob's Plumbing came out and moved our downstairs Water Heater. That was fine, but after they left, we found that the upstairs was no longer getting hot water. They came back out, decided that the Water Heater was just too old, wouldn't work and we would have to buy a new one. We got a different plumber out, who figured out in minutes that the problem was that there was not water going into that Water Heater, so it wasn't the device at all. After multiple calls and multiple lies and broken promises, I don't trust them to do anything.

These guys have been doing our work for years. Very reliable. Nice people. They just installed 3 replacement 40 gallon water heaters in our attic. Tremendous job. It took a team of 5 guys to pull it off, lots of lifting up multiple flights of stairs. Installation work was perfect. We will never use other plumbers.

All I can say is that it is a blessing that we discovered Bob's Plumbing in Harahan! We were prepping a small rental house for closing of sale. A somewhat complex situation arose with correcting the problems on the inspection list and post act of sale. In the course of correcting these problems, we had the occasion to deal with Frank, the Office Manager, and three plumbers: Josh, Marty, and Mike.

Don't know what we would have done without them. Frank was super-patient and cooperative. The plumbers were all very knowledgeable, professional, and super easy to work with. Our only regret is that our advanced age, we did not discover them much earlier in our lives since they have been around for over 50 years! Only giving Bob's a five-star rating because there is nothing higher!

I have used Bob's for years and they have always been great. But yesterday they went above and beyond! I had a gas leak and Frank fit in my repair in spite of having a full schedule for the day! Bob's plumbing is an extraordinary plumbing services. When I first called Frank was very responsive and extremely informative. Mike was the technician who helped us with a very delicate and complicated recirculating hot water pump. It is very impressive the way they handle their business and take care of their customers 5 PLUS stars.

I will definitely be a repeat customer. Frank and Marty showed up when they promised and accomplished the repairs I needed amazingly fast. The price was very reasonable compared with the experiences I've had with other plumbers in the east Jefferson area. Keep up the good work guys! Update. If there were 10 stars available, I'd check them all. This is three years later than the above paragraph. Frank and his crew installed two water heaters in my attic at a very reasonable price quickly, expertly, and clean. Frank and Mike were especially helpful in getting these installed in a hurry because we're having company for Thanksgiving. I couldn't say enough about how much I recommend them.

My hot water heater decided to finally die the Saturday afternoon before Mardi Gras. I called Bob's Plumbing and was immediately able to get in touch with Frank. He was incredibly helpful over the phone and provided clear instructions on how to shut off my water and drain the old hot water heater. He managed to squeeze me in for a new hot water heater installation on Mardi Gras afternoon.

We are in the middle of a very odd cold spell, so their responsiveness over a holiday weekend was very appreciated. On Mardi Gras day, he and Josh came and installed my new hot water heater and fixed the odd plumbing set-up the previous owner had in place. They were very fast and knowledgeable. I have nothing but good things to say about them. I have also used Bob's Plumbing to install a new bathtub after my previous one cracked due to being improperly installed (not by Bob's). They did a fantastic job on that as well and you can feel the difference in the support.

We communicated with Frank on expectations and costs. We sent pics of the tub and motor. Frank even suggested we try certain things to fix the issue ourselves. Josh and Bernie were on time and very professional. They came fully prepared to repair or replace the jacuzzi tub motor. We were very impressed with all aspects to include estimate and details involved with the repair work. Bob's plumbing is over an hour drive from our Napoleonville but they are the best by far. We will call on Bob's Plumbing again when we are in need!

Worked for me in metairie and uptown. Great job Update - with recent cold weather, I had a broken pipe. Bob's came out promptly, called on their way and provided fantastic service. I called Bob's Plumbing regarding a hot water heater vent pipe that had become dislodged when siding was replaced on my house. After looking at photos I sent of the pipe, Frank told me it was a simple fix I could do myself and saved me the service call and expense. I appreciate their help and will definitely use them in the future!

These guys are fantastic--don't even think twice about booking them for any of your plumbing needs, just do it already. After a couple dead end inquiries with some other local guys about a water heating problem, I called Bob's and they came over promptly to do an evaluation. After quickly diagnosing a dying/leaking water heater, we went through all the possible options, and they gave me a very fair and reasonable quote upfront.

No mysterious hidden costs here! They accommodated my complicated schedule in terms of scheduling a date and time, were always polite and friendly on the phone, were here right on time for the job, and finished in under two hours. What more can you ask from your neighborhood water guys?

Courteous and responsive. I needed my garbage disposal repaired and I got a call the same day, and they had someone out to my house the next morning, got there on time and fixed everything I had mentioned. Many other plumbing companies didn't even bother to call me back for such a "small job" as someone said this was. Will be using them again and recommending to friends.

I called Bob's Plumbing on a Friday morning and they answered promptly. I explained that I needed a new garbage disposal and wanted to get it replaced quickly because my kitchen sink would not drain. Bob's son, Frank called me and said that he could fit me in right after lunch. Frank and his assistant came and took a look at the sink and said that the problem was not just with the garbage disposal but that the line was clogged.

They cleared the clogged drain and then replaced the garbage disposal in a short amount of time. They had all of the right tools on their truck, including a name brand garbage disposal that was recommended by others. They assessed and corrected the problem and charged a reasonable price. I would use them again and will recommend them to family members to use for their plumbing problems.

Bob's Plumbing was quick, professional, and they don't charge any more than is absolutely necessary. They will get the job done correctly, safely, and at a cost second to none.

They didn't support the floor of the upstairs bathroom shower that they installed so here we are, a few years later, having to purchase another one because it cracked. They also left a leak saying they couldn't fix it?

I live in Boston and had "emergency" plumbing needs for our house in New Orleans. I had outstanding customer service! Within a short period of time, I felt I could trust this company to handle our repair - both efficiently, timely and fairly. The owner was conscientious and respectful. It's amazing, I don't dread the next time we need a plumber!

Bobs plumbing has done over 300 jobs finishing up kitchens and bathrooms we put in. We have never, not even once had a customer issue or complaint. Bobs men are clean, polite, and well-mannered.
