Tony showed up right on time, same day, immediately diagnosed and fixed the problem within ten minutes. He showed me what was wrong and explained what he was doing. I had the misfortune of buying a home with an antiquated Apollo system, and nobody in my area wants to touch the thing. Through internet searches and talking to various contractors, I was referred to Franzen because they have experience with the system. Tony was kind enough to speak with me and share his knowledge about some repairs, maintenance, and a flushing procedure, even though I'm from out of state (Virginia). If I lived in the Aurora area, I would 100% hire these guys to work on my HVAC based on the positive interaction.

I can't say enough about this company. I found them 2 years ago in which they did a quick fix on our air conditioner! It was pretty old. They pointed out that the freon might not hold when they put it in being so we might have a leak and our furnace possibly had a leak as well. They answered all my questions and took the time to give quotes for both air conditioner and furnace.

When it came time to replace our furnace they came in 2 days to do it and did it right and stayed to explain everything to us before leaving it. Friday the 13th of may Logan, Dalton and Tony all were here putting in our new air conditioner after many hours of hard work in the hottest of days we had air. They are like family to us. Thanks so much for all your hard work and dedication to our family. You have gained a friend and customer for life.

Our furnace stopped working during a recent cold snap. Franzen installed an ac unit 2 years ago so we called them first about the furnace. Tony sent a technician out same day and we decided it was time to replace the 25 yr old furnace. The installation was completed within a few hours. Very professional and would recommend anyone needing HVAC to call them.

Franzen took on our stressful emergency situation and handled it with ease. Every single person I spoke with from start to finish was reassuring and knowledgeable. My furnace filter went missing after Franzen installed my heating/AC unit and Tony made sure that it was replaced for me.

We called Franzen on a Saturday as our furnace needed replacing. We spoke to Tony who was very helpful in making our appointment and making sure the right furnace was ordered. It was not too cold out so we waited until Monday for install. The technicians Armando and Shawn arrived, replaced the furnace in a few hours and did and impeccable job while maintaining their professionalism.

The furnace and all other modifications look great, the pricing was reasonable, and they left our laundry room floor cleaner (lint-wise) than when they arrived. I will be recommending Franzen to all of my friends and family and using them for all future HVAC needs.

As of today (1/4/22), I am pleased that Franzen Heating and Cooling made good on the payment for our carpet damage. I am happy to report that they did apologize and I am pleased to be able to use this company again.

I'm so glad I finally called Franzen Heating & Cooling. The third time ended up being the charm. After having a couple of other companies out to diagnose the problem with our A/C (and unnecessarily recommend we buy an entirely new system), Jeremy stopped by and figured it all out. Shortly after we purchased our home, our plans were to contact Franzen to clean and inspect our aging HVAC and hot water heater. By chance we noticed that a poorly installed flue pipe was badly deteriorated and needed immediate attention. Franzen came to our aid quickly. Our technician Jeremy was thorough. He reviewed how the HVAC system needed to be modified and HWH needed replacement and alternate venting.

He offered a few options and scheduled the services within days. Installations and repairs were done by Jeremy and Shawn. They were professional, neat, knowledgable and overall very nice guys. We needed a part for our air conditioner. It was 4th of July weekend, nobody was open, but we got someone at Franzen to get us the part promptly, and he offered to check our part to see if it was good. He was very nice and offered good customer service and we will use them again in the future, and spread the word.

I came home with my house at a million degrees at night what a nightmare . Oh looked up on Google best air conditioning places. This place came up and had amazing reviews already. I saw they were open 24 hours but it wasn't a big emergency so I emailed them what was wrong and that the next day was my only day off could I get service. To my surprise I got an email back right away saying they would take care of me in the morning.

I got a call in the morning I think her name was Amanda let me tell you she was awesome got me in right away like 830 in the morning. Awesome. I got a text and an email letting me know that Jason was on his way and when will arrive. He got here very pleasant and courteous. He found the problem and fixed it. He was very detailed in talking to me so I knew exactly what was wrong and showing me every step of this process and what my options were no hidden costs He told me right away what it would be and made sure I understood everything before going forward. A+ service. Jason, Dustin, and the crew were polite, thorough, professional, and fast. They cut no corners, and hung around after our HVAC install to explain our new smart thermostat to us. I know they were tired from a hard day's work but they didn't rush us at all. They know their craft.

Recently had new furnace and air conditioner installed, and I'm very pleased with the prompt service and professionalism of this company. I got an estimate within the hour on a Friday and everything was installed the following Thursday. We just moved in and just needed a technician to inspect our furnace and make sure it's all good to go. We apparently have a very rare furnace, I can't even remember what it's called, but someone recommended Frazen for specializing in them. The tech was very informative and answered any questions I had as well as gave tips for maintaining it. We'll be using them again in the future for sure.

Our furnace went out on the Friday night 2 weeks before Christmas, 2019. I called Franzen on Saturday morning and Tony Franzen picked up immediately. He told us he'd be there before noon and even gave us a call right before he got to the house. He was super professional and gave us some good options for our problems, which included a new furnace and water heater.

These had been incorrectly installed by previous companies. Tony left 3 space heaters with us, guaranteeing they'd be at our house at 8am on the Monday. A whole crew, turned up at 7:50 am and they never stopped working until they had a new furnace and water heater installed, by 3:30 in the afternoon. I can absolutely recommend Franzen Heating and Cooling to Aurora area residents.

This is the best heating and cooling business around. Don't waste your time searching for another. Tony was very honest and friendly. He knew the furnace and fixed the problem. He takes me through the problem and in easy to understand language. He fixed it cheaply by beginning with the easiest solution. Never did he recommend replacing items that didn't need to be replaced. Want HVAC with a sense of humor and lots of experience? Look no further! These guys are smart and detail oriented. We just moved to a new house and needed a full overhaul. New furnace, a/c and humidifier. Ouch! Called Franzen and from the time they inspected our old system to ordering our new equipment and getting us in for install, it was just a little over a week.

Amazing turn around time and service! Very fair pricing too. Tony worked with our budget and have us a few different options. He explained the various levels of furnace efficiency and helped us choose the right equipment for our house. We ended up going with the most efficient unit and he explained the additional vent pipe that this would require that was included in the installation process. They were so kind, respectful and knowledgeable. They went the extra mile to talk to my kids and keep an eye on our dog while I took the kids out. It was really a pleasure to have them over working on our house. Very tidy too! Put down lots of drop clothes to protect our carpet. Jason constructed a new plenum for our furnace and his sheet metal skills are really on point!

Very clean work. He takes pride in what he does. Same thing with the piping. He figured out how to assemble the new vent piping so that it would be as flush to the ceiling as possible. Excellent workmanship and really excellent people to work with!

New to the area, checked Yelp reviews and call Franzen as they had the best reviews. Talked to Tony on the phone. I told him my issues and he said he can't get me in right away, but walked me through some trouble shooting items to solve my problem. While I was on the phone he guided me through the step to help fix the issue to hold me over until he could get someone over. Tony apologized that he could not come out sooner, but he needed to take care of his current client list. This guy was awesome, I will definitely wait to for him, as it is hard to find a good A/C guy that you can trust.

Recently moved to this area and bought a house for the first time. I had just bought a new washer and dryer. The dryer gave me warnings that my ducting was about 80% blocked. Checked here on Yelp and found out that these guys were near me and had some good reviews. Couldn't be more pleased. Someone answered the phone even after "normal" business hours and got me set up with an appointment right away.

My mom was at the house when they came for the appointment (while I was at work). She said that the men who came were so nice and respectful of her the whole time they were there. They also did great work--my dryer is back up and running well. I got an estimate over the phone of a price range the service would be within, depending on the length and route of my ducting, and the price ended up being much lower than I expected.

Very reasonable! I'd highly recommend them for this type of service. I already plan on going back to them when it gets warmer to have my air conditioning inspected for the summer. Great people and great service!

Tony (the owner) is very knowledgeable about the trade. His estimate was pretty good for my furnace and AC. All of his techs were polite and seemed to respect Tony, me the customer and my home, and the business in general. They laid out tarps and cleaned up after themselves. After a wonderful display of teamwork, they showed me how to use all of the services they installed. I would have them come back and I would also recommend them to my friends and family. 5 stars!

I was very hesitant in calling a heating and cooling company. I have always heard about the horror stories of companies taking financial advantage of people. Frazen is not that type of company. Made an appointment with this company and wasn't happy with the initial response. I have since had communication with the Owner of the company and his diligence in trying to fix the problem has changed my opinion on the customer service I originally received. Next time I need service I will give them a call.

Tony responded immediately and was friendly and professional. They were able to come out right away and diagnose the problem and complete repairs the same day and saved me money as the first company recommended a replacement of the unit. They were extremely fair and very helpful.

I was referred to Franzen because they were familiar with the Apollo system that is in my townhouse. Most companies don't even know what it is. I was given an estimate and felt it was more than fair based on another quote I received. Franzen had experience working with these units. When the guys arrived for the install they were professional, polite and hardworking. Tony is very knowledgable and explained everything they were going to do right from the very beginning. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Excellent service and price. They told me what was wrong with my system and how it could be fixed. They didn't try to upsell me on a more expensive system or try to pile up add-ons to raise the cost. Jeremy did our estimate and explained everything. Joe and Jason did a fantastic install and cleaned everything up when they were done, including sweeping my basement floor!
