They bribed me with $500 off originally to write a positive review, which apparently is meant to trick other customers into hiring them. The remodel performed by Restoration Solutions was incredibly half-baked and had very poor workmanship. They busted the faucet when reconnecting it to give us a surprise mold problem a few months later. They also LOST the legs to my dishwasher and used wood to prop up the dishwasher so it "looked" fine.

Very poor, un-taped paint job leaving a splotches of paint on the door frames. Never connected an outlet inside one of the cabinets leaving exposed wires. The list goes on. Stay clear of this company!

We had a excellent experience working with Kevin and his team. We had a toilet leak which required the demolition of the wooden floor, mold elimination and then restoration of the floor. Kevin provided a detailed estimate which was the most competitive. The other vendors did not break out the work. Kevin was extremely professional, easy to work with and service oriented. The work was scheduled and completed promptly with great quality.

So thankful for Jim Thurber and his crew, Alonso and Alan and one more. every one of them were so professional, and caring in such a chaotic time in our kitchen. They took the best care of our personal things and were so considerate and hard working. Arrived on time every day and worked hard every minute they were there. The finished work was excellent! Jim made me feel like family he was taking care of as he set up and wrapped up the work, he cares. Thank you all!

We were working with restoration solutions on water flooding restoration for our condo and got Jack Manata re-assigned as our project manager. He joined this project at a stage when all restoration work was complete but there was a lot of work pending with the insurance company to get the transaction completed. We cannot stress enough on how amazing Jack is at his job.

He communicates really well and was always available to answer any questions(and we did have many). He ensured that everything with the insurance companies went smoothly and explained all intricacies of the estimates, supplements and the process in general. This review is long overdue! I can't say enough great things about Kevin and his team! Kevin has been a huge help in multiple circumstances recently involving both minor and major remediation/restoration events. He is always responsive, patient and professional, providing ease and trust during what otherwise could have been considered stressful and daunting situations.

Though I hope to never need remediation/restoration services again in the future, Kevin will be the first person I text or call in this event, and I hope to have the opportunity to pass on referrals, as well. We had such a mess! A hidden water leak had soaked under the floors in the guest room then finally up the walls before it was noticed. All of that in the middle of COVID. It's been challenging to get things scheduled, because of COVID related issues, but the work has been exceptional. Very professional, friendly, nice people in and out of our home frequently.

We had a water leak in our condo causing a major water damage. Having no prior experience in this area, we reached out to restoration solutions after reading such great reviews and I am glad to say that they exceeded all expectations with our contract. Cannot stress enough on how smooth, reassuring and great quality work and the process was. We had tenants moving in from out of state in 5 weeks.

Since we were on such a tight schedule, we were looking for someone who could start work immediately. We met with Paul Manata on a Monday, he called his crew during our meeting, got confirmation that the work can be done in 5 weeks. His crew were at our unit the very next day to start the concrete and drywall work. Paul was very professional during the entire process, he met with us regularly and answered any questions or concerns we had.

Due to Covid, many items were back ordered and Paul gave us alternative solutions that kept us to our timelines and also have a great looking house at the end of it. They even identified places where there could have been future damage and recommended changing those areas. Paul and his crew made sure that we are happy with every thing. During the reconstruction, our master vanity did not turn out the way we expected.

After hearing our concerns, Paul fixed the vanity to our liking. That just speaks volumes on how much they value customer satisfaction. Overall, we are extremely pleased that we chose restoration solutions. Highly recommend them!

We've used Restoration Solutions before when we had a leak in our kitchen and found them to be wonderful. They told us it would be a month to get everything remediated and they stayed on track timewise. They also came in less than what the insurance company would allow, which I found miraculous in itself. So now, we just got done using Restoration Solutions for a bathroom remodel that we wanted to do to match our new kitchen. Jack Manata and his team kicked ass again. Jack's team didn't do much design (we did the designing) but Jack and his team matched our vision perfectly.

We did both bathrooms and they were finished in the timeframe Jack said it would and it turned out amazing. Sadly we are out of places to remodel, now, in our condo but there's no doubt we would go to Restoration Solutions for the next accident OR remodel.

Way overdue review for a company who we can't recommend enough. When our kitchen flooded just before Covid, we had zero experience with anything related to a remodel. The laundry room in my condo flooded. A co worker recommended Restoration Solutions for the rebuild. Some drywall, flooring and paint. First I will say that Rafael was very professional and polite throughout the entire experience and I was pleased with the work at completion. With that being said, I will share the rest of my experience. I was originally given an approximate 1 week completion time. Well, 1 week turned into 2 months!

At the beginning things went smoothly and folks were showing up almost daily to work on something. After the second week things seem to change. There were times when I wouldn't hear from Rafael for more than a week. He would eventually call and ask about what type of flooring I wanted, etc and that he would need to "make some calls" Then nothing again for another week. Then, maybe another week before someone would actually come out and provide any service.

At one point he called and asked me if everything had been completed and if I needed anything else. Well, the work hadn't been completed. My opinion during this whole ordeal was that my job was small and maybe not a priority. I'm sure there were bigger jobs paying bigger money and they were probably more of a priority. It's small laundry room!

It should not have taken 2 months. I did express my concerns to Rafael and he did offer some compensation. So, with that, I am on the fence if I would recommend them to others.

In 2015, a carpenter was replacing an interior door casing in my condo and saw what appeared to be black mold behind the existing casing. I contacted four different mold remediation companies to come take a look and provide estimates. Three of the four gave me estimates that started at around $1,500. Jim Thurber from Restoration Solutions came, inspected and said, "There's a time to take your money, and this isn't it." He recommended I spray it--I think with a bleach-based solution. I SO appreciated Jim's honesty. I followed his suggestion and saved a bunch of money.

My block wall was hit by a car at speeding up the road, bounced off a truck and plowed into our wall. The damage was about 17 ft of cinder blocks scattered over my backyard and outside of our wall. Within two hours of contacting my insurance, Jack Manata called me an set up an appointment to come out and estimate the damage. A week later the insurance company approved the estimate and then Jack sent out a crew to demo, and start rebuilding the wall.

When that part was done another person came out to stucco, prime and paint the wall. I was in contact with Jack throughout the process and he was prompt in getting back to me. The wall now looks like nothing ever happened to it. Thank you Jack for making sure the job was done right! I highly recommend Restoration Solutions.

Once again, totally stoked with the customer service and work done by Restoration Solutions. Second time this year they've helped us at our Encinitas home. First in March with Estimator Rafael and the crew when they restored the walls that were removed in our main bedroom after mold restoration. And then this month of August, Estimator Paul and the crew of Fernando and Pablo when they restored walls in our bathroom and kitchen following replacement of old iron plumbing. Quality service, communications, and work from first contact to finish. All much appreciated by my family.

I can't speak highly enough of Jim Thurber (project manager) and his entire team of subcontractors at helping my wife and I turn a very frustrating situation (pipe leak/water damage in kitchen) to something really awesome, a fully remodeled kitchen. Jim is a very friendly guy who is great to talk to and gets the job done. Firstly, I had a bad experience with a previous plumbing contractor, and Jim and his team have restored my faith in finding quality and honest contractors to work with.

I will definitely be keeping his contact information for any future projects that my wife and I want to have done. I was referred to Restoration Solutions through my homeowner's insurance (AAA) when I started my water damage claim. Jim came out and performed his estimate and was very upfront and honest with me about everything. We were initially just going to repaint and replace the damaged cabinets and have them all painted.

After a lot of thought and consideration, my wife and I wanted to seize the moment and just remodel the entire kitchen, especially since the remaining, undamaged cabinets would still be 30 years old on the inside and not match the rest of the new cabinets. It obviously cost more to remodel the whole kitchen, but this was just one of those situations where it was completely worth the extra money.

Able and his team (demo, paint, and drywall) did an awesome job. Alex and his team (cabinets and trim) did an awesome job. Jaime and DJ (countertops) did an awesome job. Mark (the electrician) did an awesome job. (Don't remember the plumber's names) but they did an awesome job. Jim's timeline for the entire project was pretty spot on, within a few days of targeted date.

As I said earlier, he was very upfront and honest about everything, so my wife and I knew exactly what to expect. All of the subcontractors were extremely respectful and considerate of my wife and I's schedules and working from home on certain days. Jim's pricing was very reasonable and competitive to other quotes I received and we are incredibly happy with the final results. Thank you Jim and the rest of the team from Restoration Solutions.

WARNING, DO NOT HIRE. I never do reviews but I want this to be a clear warning to people. I just got off the phone with these people. They are the most rude and unprofessional people. I wanted to call to have them inspect a condo to see if it has mold just like they did for me just a few weeks ago at my own house. I was explaining that I want to check if there's mold and the guy on the phone was saying they don't to that and an industrial hygienist does that but I was explaining how can that be if they checked my house for mold just a few weeks ago.

This company was even the company who did my mold remediation for me which included spraying the mold to kill it and removing the area around the mold. So are they trying to tell that they didn't even do what I paid them for and it's all a lie? I even received attitude when I said so I paid you $1000 for what and the guy has the audacity to say it was $600 and I was like ok rounded up and he was like $400 is a big difference.

Like I don't need your attitude when I'm the customer who even hired you to do my mold remediation if they even did that in the first place. I was so sick with the conversation that I ended that call and never want to deal with them again. Do not hire them unless you want to experience unprofessionalism and a huge attitude problem. This company is just a reminder that there are really bad human beings in the world.

I highly recommend Restoration Solutions, in particular Jim Thurber, Project Manager. We had a significant slab leak 10 days before I had major surgery. They worked around my schedule. The demolition of the wet floors and walls happened very quickly, and the reconstruction happened after surgery and when I was far enough along in my recovery. Jim was great about keeping me posted on when the subcontractors would be in.

If I had questions he always got back to me in less than 24 hours. All of the folks who were here working always left things picked up and clean before they left for the day. I wouldn't hesitate to use them for any future home projects.

Jack, the contractor on my project was easy to work with, excellent at communication, and supplied talented and professional subcontractors. I had water damage in my kitchen. Restoration Solutions took care of the mitigation and rebuilt/refinished damaged cabinets, along with drywall, painting etc. They worked directly with my insurance company which was such a help for me. My kitchen is all good, it looks great, and life can get back to normal!

They answered very promptly, and were able to get a tech out to inspect the same day (mold issue). Tech was very knowledgeable and upfront about what he saw, what he expected, worst case scenarios, and costs. He forwarded us to an asbestos testing company to make sure the area was safe to work, gave us questions to ask them and a good idea of what to expect from them as well. (The testing company was impressed by the questions, said we got a "superstar" tech!) When the asbestos test came back positive, he gracefully stepped down and forwarded us info to get the asbestos removed. Thanks so much Jim!

We had a slab leak which resulted in quite a bit of damage to our flooring and carpeting. Jim Thurber, from Restoration Solutions, provided a competitive quote and was able to start work the following week. The flooring we chose to replace our damaged flooring was on back order. Once the flooring was in stock, the RS team started work a couple of days later and finished a day earlier than planned.

The quality of the work is excellent and the construction personnel completing the work were professional, friendly and very hard working. We highly recommend Restoration Solutions!

Paul came out for a 2nd opinion to check for moisture in the wall after a leak. He was super honest and explained everything very well. In the end we felt glad that we didn't just rip out the drywall with the other company since Paul didn't find any moisture in the affected area. He also recommended a company that can test for mold if we need.

We chose Restoration Solutions (RS) after considering several other water damage mitigation specialists. We recently discovered a 20-yr continuous leak caused by a construction worker who drove a nail through one of our drain pipes which was never repaired at the time of the incident. This caused long term water & mold damage in both our sub-floor and the wall cavity surrounding the damaged drain pipe in our kitchen.

Our estimator, Rafael, was very professional, reachable, communicative, and took care of all our needs from start to finish. Rafael's preliminary work estimate was detailed, thorough, and complete. RS's estimate was not the least expensive, nor was it the costliest; however, we felt RS would be the "best" company to help us get our kitchen back into working order.

We were happy with most of the sub-contractors who came to do their portion of the overall job project. Rafael did a great job at scheduling the different work stages all the way through our job completion. If there were any issues with our kitchen remodel/restoration, Rafael took care of them and which made us feel comfortable that we chose RS for our major kitchen restoration.

Whenever major costly home repairs are needed, it's almost always a very stressful time for any homeowner. RS was able to take away a lot of worry and anxiety from us since we felt assured the job would be done, and done right. In the end, we were very happy with the job that was done, as we were able to have full use of our kitchen prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. Had a potential nightmare kitchen situation regarding an insurance claim I was dealing with. After dealing with 2 GCs that were slow in calling back and scheduling, I found myself searching for a new GC that had an attention to detail. THANK THE LORD I met Paul Mannata & Restoration Solutions. Paul came to my place in 2 days. Found things that needed to be addressed that the other 2 GCs hadn't. Paul was able to start my project before receiving the insurance check as it was being held up.

I called & requested Jack but then Paul showed up. He came out right away and was able to do the initial review of repairs. Our main concern was TIMING since I am currently a work at home mother with preschooling toddlers in the house. Paul said he could finish it in a certain time frame and he stuck to his word. (so grateful) We appreciate the quick scheduling and the ability for staying on schedule. They did a great job even in the middle of a pandemic. These guys are great. I worked with Jim who was excellent with his communication throughout the remediation/restoration process. Always available by phone or text, or would return a call within the hour. I had a shower leak that damaged walls, floor, ceiling. Jim took care of the problem quickly and handled all communication with my insurance company. They remedied a bad situation as smoothly as possible. Don't hesitate to call these guys, they are pros and they handle business.

Kudos to Jack Manata I called Restoration Solutions to replace all the carpet in my condo. The guys were on time, professional, and quick. They were careful with my furniture and my cat! Jack Manata was the project manager and kept in communication with me throughout the process. Jack Even replied to my after-hour texts. The work came out amazing. Then, i had a small flood and Jack and his team came back to relay the brand new carpet and clean it again. It looks just like new. Thanks Jack! If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

My parents had grease fire in their kitchen February 9th. Thank goodness everyone was okay but needless to say, the kitchen was totaled. Within a few days since this happened over a weekend, AAA was in touch and had sent out Jack Manata with Restoration Solutions to meet with us. Restoration soultions is a great company to work with. We had a refrigerator leak in a townhouse that we had just bought four months ago. It had leaked into the common wall- behind our kitchen and dining room and underneath all the floors in our house- called restoration soultions and Joe Cuevas came in and did an estimate for me- had it over the same day and had crews( all of which were friendly and professional) out the very next day. He was polite, informative, and most importantly professional and knew what he was doing. Although I hope to never use his company again- I won't hesitate to call them.

We found some mold in the ceiling when we removed a cabinet and it was due to a leak in the pipe somewhere above. We asked 3 different companies to come take a look at it. First of all the response was great and Joe came and took a look at it at the earliest. Very professional from the beginning and they got the right tools to measure the humidity.

One other company that took a look did not really check for the humidity and gave us an estimate which was thrice as expensive for all the work that wasn't needed. We scheduled the work with Joe. Two field techs came to get the job done. They arrived on time, were very courteous, professional and efficient. I requested them for pictures and they made sure to share them with me. Did a very neat job.

Over and above, it took less than what the original estimate was and Joe was kind enough to not charge anything extra than what was actually required. We actually saved 20% than what was originally quoted. I believe that's what an honest person would do. I recommend restoration solution from my experience.

We found water damage in our upstairs bathroom and immediately called Restoration Solutions. Simon came out prompty and got the fans going and met with our AAA insurance adjuster. It was such a relief to have RS on hand to help out and start working on the problem immdiately.

They were fast, courteous, responsible, worked well with my tenants and the insurance adjusters. They were able to rebuild brand new kitchens in 30 days or less. I am a Farmers Insurance Agent and have referred them on many claims losses to my clients.

We were extremely unhappy with the restoration company recommended by our insurance, we looked at many restoration companies that did not impress us, and luckily were finally given a referral to Restoration Solutions. Jim assessed our somewhat difficult project and gave us ideas for solutions that other companies did not.

He was involved and proactive about every step of the project. Jim was in constant contact with us regarding everything going on, if we ever needed him he was easy to reach (day, night, even on weekends). All of the workers who came to our home were professional, responsible, and respectful of our home. Every stage of the project happened on time (or ahead of schedule). Jim made everything seem easy, even though other companies we talked to made everything seem so difficult.

Restorations Solutions did a fabulous job for our two properties. What a difference it makes working with contractors who are professional and place a high value on customer service.

My rental property had the very unfortunate catastrophe of a busted pipe under the house. Thankfully all damages were covered by insurance, however there was a lot of meeting contractors etc. Jim at Restoration Solutions called to schedule his piece of the repair for the drywall and paint. He was sincerely empathetic to hear about my 60 year old beautiful hardwood floors that had been destroyed.

I would have wished for RS to do the entire project, however insurance pieces out each item-remediation, drywall, paint, floors etc. If you have the option to chose, which you do, I would highly recommend having RS do everything. One of the other contractors were supposed to do the baseboards, however, they did not tell me that somehow they were only doing the floors.

So after an extra week the project was in limbo. I asked for Jim and RS to finish the work. Even though the baseboards were a small job to them they took it. I really did not want to work with the other contractor at all for even a second longer. Jim and his crew installed the baseboards and even did the touch-up work left by the flooring contractor. If you ever have the misfortune of needing this remedy go with RS and ask for Jim! Thank you Restoration Solutions for completing my nightmare.

Tooraj is terrific! I worked with him years ago before he owned his own company 7 years ago. The floors, granite cabinets still look amazing! Over the past month I had an issue with the plumbing on a new house that I just bought and his new crew was beyond professional and helpful.
