TSC Restoration

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! These folks are thugs and thieves. We needed service for a small leak from water damage. Service Pro quoted us approx $2,200 but couldn't do the work in time as we were closing escrow on the home. These rip off artists came to our home, late, and verbally told us top price would be $3000. After signing about 30 pages of documents at 11pm.they did the work.

Nearly a month later they sent the bill which was more than $6,500.00! When we tried to discuss the bill they harassed us with calls, put a mechanics lean on the house. I knew immediately this was how they do business. I never write reviews that are negative but further customers need to be aware of this unethical company. I now see there is another review just like mine. I plan on reporting this case to the better business bureau for more investigation.

We were shocked at the bill! (over $6,000) Not what we expected from the "contract" we signed. ( i.e.: There was no way to know they were going to charge us $750 to clean their equipment!) Because they came after hours (after 5) we were charged double. That was not made clear to us. They charged us to extract the water from the wet rug, the technician to come to extract the water and a 100% fee for after hours for the same thing.

So to suck up the water (about an hour of work) we were charged $1,054.34. They left humidifiers and fans for 3 days and that was $2,640. And then $519.06 to bring it in and out! And $750 to clean it afterwards! They wanted to charge us $500 to test for asbestos (our house was built in 2000) or they wouldn't open the walls! So I said no and hired another company who ripped out walls, put them back, fixed the plumbing and repainted for half the price. But because this company came out the first night, we had to pay them the $6,000. If you are made of money, go ahead and hire this company.

There was water leak above my unit that caused significant water damage and mold. TSC was quick to respond, did everything by the book related to mold, asbestos and other dangerous issues, was professional and did a fantastic job cleaning up my unit. All this at a great price; They easily beat out the other two quotes I had and well above and beyond.

I called several companies when we had a flood in the downstairs of our house. Wes was the most helpful and straightforward. He sent Josh out within an hour. Josh arrived and explained the process and answered our million questions. He came back with a larger crew the next day and all of them were respectful and took care in everything they did.

Thank you for your service in arranging restoration of our home after being damaged by flooding. The situation is stressful enough when a home has been damaged and needs to be repaired quickly and professionally. Your prompt, courteous service put us at ease and helped put the best face on an otherwise unfortunate situation.
