Owner Keith Schmidt is native to the San Antonio Area. After graduating from Alamo Heights High School, Keith furthered his education at Southwest Texas State University earning a Bachelor of Science in Construction Technology. Keith spent many long nights and weekends during his college career performing maintenance and repair work on commercial HVAC systems.

After graduating, Keith worked as a Sr. Project Manager for a San Antonio based Mechanical Contractor. It was at this point in Keith's career that a passion and love for air conditioning and heating was developed. After 8 years of working as a Sr Project Manager, Keith decided to open Schmidt Mechanical Group, Inc.

Very good service visit. I had Schmidt Mechanical respond to a warranty request on our heating unit. The unit was functioning properly and so we sent ahead and had Schmidt do system checks on both units. They offered us a very good price and we got all system checks for less than $200. I forgot the service guys name but he was very thorough and patient in explaining what he was doing.
