We were looking to build a new "forever" home on our property with lake and canyon views in the Texas Hill Country, and wanted a premium home builder that could also provide design architectural services, assist with interior decorating as well as manage landscaping and pool needs in meeting our stringent Home Owner Association requirements during a time when Covid-19 protocols were in place.

That was a lot to ask for, but Chuck & Kristal Powell of CKC Custom Homes and their team were able to exceed expectations in providing a beautiful home that we will enjoy the rest of our lives. They listened to our wishes and needs in designing a gorgeous homesite made of superior quality materials, and their contractors provided excellent skill and craftsmanship in making ours a truly custom home.

The staff made fantastic recommendations in every phase, giving us options when choosing flooring, roofing materials, paint colors, appliance selections, etc. while remaining very transparent on cost in working within our contract terms and budget. We love their use of the BuilderTrend application which allowed us to track everything in one place during the entire project management process, from easily displaying what work was scheduled on the Calendar each day, to what selections we captured and approved/declined and associated cost, as well as having ability to store/upload photos captured by the site manager as well as us since we couldn't be at the build site every day to watch it progress from start to finish. We highly recommend CKC Custom Homes to anyone looking for a premium builder that believes in great communications and superior customer focus!

I am thrilled with the contract I closed today and must give 5 stars! Kassie, Marisa, Nicole and team were wonderful and worked so hard to make the new home beautiful. They were responsive, worked super hard on getting great offers, and really did their best on my custom home project!

The 3-D designs were gorgeous. They made all the decisions so easy. I am so happy and grateful. They are much appreciated and I cannot thank you enough. CKC's architect David is someone whom I honor. His beautiful design and his talent and eye as an architect are impeccable. He captured my vision perfectly. I am so excited to start construction and happy we signed the contract today. Thank Goodness we have a CKC built home! After going through 6 days of brutal blizzard like temps in the Texas Hill Country we are thankful we went with CKC. We are certain it was the "rock solid" quality build of this home that left us with little to no issues. Also the fact we could contact them to ask questions knowing they were dealing with their own set of issues and they quickly responded with any guidance they could give. On another note, they not only build a quality home but their design skills are top notch. They stand by their product and are an absolute pleasure to work with!

Building the house of our dreams was easy with CKC. Absolutely the best experience! Everyone from financial assistance to navigate the best deal, Michael Hyden our architect creating a worknof art, the incredible quality of construction and attention to details, the most colaborative design team ever! We would build with them again if we ever sold this house which is not likely.

I have interviewed several local home builders, and CKC definitely stands out in front of the pack. My experience with Chuck and Krystal by far has exceeded my expectations. I have personally walked a home under construction in the Dominion and their attention to detail is extraordinary. Quality people quality work! We currently live in the Dominion and are in the process of securing a lot in the neighborhood for new construction. CKC will definitely be our 1st and only choice in constructing our new home.

Please check all the reviews about this company. Nothing but bad things come from using them. Lies, excuses, manipulation. just horrible. Everything seems amazing but it is all fake. Do not lose all your money and time with their horrible business.

I've been privilege in working for quite a few High Quality Builders in my business as lead designer for Hyden Design Group. Been designing for CKC for a few years and have design quite a few homes for their custom clients. Not once have I witness CKC not giving their client the best service possible. I believe It is good business to walk a custom client from design all the way to handing the key to their New House they will call Home and that is what CKC has and is doing. It is a privilege to work with CKC knowing this is a company that does their best every day for their clients.

I LOVE MY HOUSE! We had a great time working with Kristal, Chuck and the rest of the team! I can't be more happy with how our house turned out! Every step of the way we had a great experience.
