Jason at Cardinal Roofing provided me with excellent purchase and planning support on an investment property roofing project. Jason provided me with informed input and questions to ask and considerations in terms of matching materials and installation options to climate and steep roof pitch factors. He's very skilled at recommending solutions that work well and look good aesthetically.

I selected Cardinal over 5 other roofing companies in Birmingham based primarily on customer service and responsiveness. We had a pleasant experience with Richard. He was extremely responsive, pleasant and always updated us on the process of our repair. Unfortunately, we weren't able to use their services due to the poor condition of our roof.

I called Cardinal Roofing to replace the roof on my parents home. Mary Margaret went the extra mile explaining everything in detail to my parents. Cardinal Roofing did a great job with our roof replacement. Stephen B. worked with us every step of the way and walked us through the process with professionalism and responsiveness. The roof looks good and was started and completed in the same day. Stephen even sent updates and pictures to keep us posted on our roof status while we were working the day it was replaced.

Clean up afterwards was exceptional, as if they were practically never there. Extra supplies were picked up immediately after as well. I would recommend Cardinal and Stephen to anyone in need of a roof repair/ replacement or other services Cardinal Roofing offers.

As a real estate agent I appreciate Mark Wesson so much because of his dependability, credibility in the roofing industry, and his commitment to getting a great job done on time for clients and within their budget. When my friends and clients have roofing needs, I immediately think of him. Mark is a great asset to a home owner because bottom line, he is a good person. He is always positive and follows through to complete an outstanding job. If you want an excellent job done at a reasonable price, you should give him a call.

I want to thank Mr. Richard for coming out and inspecting our roof. We had been worried for a while and he put our minds at ease and let us know we are not in need of replacement at this time. It was great to find a company that did not try and sell us something we did not need. He was such a kind man and when we need anything else done or looked at he will be our first call! I have never had a company work so hard for me before ever even getting my business. My 7-year-old roof was badly damaged after a tornado came through my neighborhood. I set up an appointment for a roof inspection with Cardinal. Jason Smith was my main contact through the entire job, and he was fantastic! He responded to all of my calls/texts and he addressed all of my concerns.

In fact, he did not even want final payment until I was 100% happy with the finished roof. He was very upfront, truthful, courteous, professional. The roofers did a great job on the roof. They were quick with the work and kept the area around my house cleaned up. They also did a thorough job on the last day clean up. I hope I do not need a roof anytime soon, especially after having to replace two of them inside of 8 years, but if I do, I will definitely call Cardinal Roofing. They are A+ in my book!

Terrible service go somewhere else! Our attic was sweating and we needed new roof vents so after looking on Nextdoor, we called Cardinal Roofing. We called them in JULY, had them come out and quote us, and paid the deposit to get on the schedule. It was really rainy and we knew COVID slowed things down so we were patient with them. THREE WEEKS LATER they called us asking if we'd like to pay the deposit so they could put us on the schedule.

We told them we had and after checking they apologized and assured us we were at the front of the line. No one came out that week so I called the next and was told the same thing. No one came out again that week and I called again and was told again we were at the front of the line. Finally after losing it and threatening to go somewhere else they came out and fixed the roof at the END OF SEPTEMBER. 2 MONTHS AFTER WE PAID OUR DEPOSIT! Then, while fixing the roof vents the roofer knocked a shingle off.

He said he was going to go get a matching one and come back. This was the end of September and after calling just about every other day we finally got it fixed last week right before HALLOWEEN! Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else. This has literally been 4 months of us constantly calling them and them assuring us we were 'first in line.' Not to mentioned they told my husband they wouldn't charge the final payment until the shingle was replaced and then did anyway. You can't really trust what they say and you'll be fighting with them the whole time so just go somewhere else.

At the very best unethical and poorly executes at every vector. At worst, criminal behavior. Let's start with the work. I have no leaks as far as I know but the crew that did the work was disrespectful to my property, throwing materials on top of my outdoor A/C unit and leaving dust chips all over my attic. More importantly, notified me as I was getting my third inspection that we were basically defrauding the insurance company if the result was a full replacement as they had already given me a cash quote after the second failed inspection.

Surprisingly to them the third inspection did in fact result in full replacement. Cardinal wanted to go through with the initial cash quote. Then as I was considering my predicament changed their language but recommended I take the risk and call Allstate and tell them to send the refund without the certification of completion, something they knew was impossible.

So instead of calling them on it I sent Cardinal a check for the entire amount, however it was actually more than I needed to send. Cardinal was more than willing to keep my money and not tell me I overpaid. My insurance company was the party that let me know I had done that. So when I blasted Cardinal they acted indignant like they didn't know what I was talking about and would never cheat anyone.

Too bad for them I have all the texts, all the emails and most importantly all the phone calls recorded including the ones where Mary Margaret suggested and encouraged me to defraud my insurance company. So there is no argument here. It was all documented. I have not contacted the insurance company as I cannot prove I was not complicit even though I sent in the full amount unsolicited.

It just doesn't look good however if Cardinal wants to debate it here I'm more than willing to let the insurance company decide their fate. The whole crew is probably corrupt but there is no doubt the owner, Jody, and his agent Mary Margaret or at minimum unethical and immoral as it relates to business. But hey, you know, maybe their great people outside of the office.;

We were very happy with our experience with Cardinal Roofing. Mary was very professional and guided us carefully through the whole process. She dealt with all of the paperwork, and liased with our insurance company to ensure that the claim was handled quickly and efficiently.

The roof and porch look great. But you need to make absolutely sure you know exactly what is going to be completed. Felt very misled by what was explained to me. They work they did was quick and good.

I have had good service with Cardinal Roofing. Both Rick Wear & Jody Rogers have done a good job of telling me what they will be doing and their men did an excellant job on putting a new roof on my house.

Smooth experience. We had some hail damage and our insurance company said they would pay to have the roof replaced. Cardinal roofing made it a painless experience. We were out of town the day they came and did the work and when we came back it was done, cleaned up and our satellite was even still aligned.

Jody Rogers is ill tempered & unreliable. He doesn't what he's doing, he has a bad reputation among other roofers, in general he's a total jackass. He doesn't stand behind his work, won't accept responsibility & gets rude and defensive when you call him back to check a problem with a job he did. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM

Cardinal Roofing does a great job on installing new roofs and roofing repairs. Highly recommended!
