Critical: Professionalism The office lady is rude, William with EZ Roof doesn't like to pay his subs or service provides after they have provide service. Don't use this company.

New owner is terrible. Did not honor warranty. Came out 3 times to repair leaking roof. Was charged at least $300 dollars each time. After spending $1,000 trying to fix the leaks roof still leaks and no one will answer the phone or return calls. I am surprised this company is still in business. If I could give negative stars I would.

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness Once they put your roof on, they will not honor the warranty. You call they send a person that doesn't know anything about the roof. They collected half of the money up front but did not start until I asked for money back. The roof started leaking about 2 months later and they refused to contact me to complete the work. I called, texted, emailed, and sent certified mail. 4 months later, I finally had another company to repair it. They have not said anything about the repairs but sent a letter to place a lien on my house. How's that for irony.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They did a great job a few years ago under the old owner. As part of that purchase I received a 5 year labor warranty on and repairs to the roof. Long story short, I've spent the last 3 weeks trying to get the new owners to honor the warranty and come out and fix a small leak. I've been told they'd call me back multiple times and they didn't. Told the repair guy would call me but he hasn't and they ultimately said I'd need to pay for the repair anyway.

No thanks. I'll take my business to people that actually take care of their customer base. FYI, when you buy a business, you don't get to magically get rid of warranties for prior customers. That is how you lose business and ruin the reputation of the business you purchased. I don't normally leave reviews but I felt like it was warranted given the very poor experience I've had. P.S. By not doing a simple $250 repair, you have lost thousands of dollars in future revenue from me or anyone asking me for recommendations in the future. Solid business plan.

Be careful of this company. We had a new roof installed in 2018 from this company. We were happy until this year (2021.) We had a few decent sized leaks in several places. We thought we were covered as we had a 5 year warranty. I called them 1-2 times a week for almost a month. They said they are not responsible for it since they purchased the business from someone else.

The girl named Misty was nice at first. Then she turned nasty when confronted about why they are not covering the warranty. My warranty was with EZ Roof, not with the previous owner. They will not stand behind their name and your warranty is essentially worthless. Very bad people to deal with.

The lady that answer the phone is very uneducated and dont have any idea how to deal with customers, she just raised her voice to not listen, poor her, they Install the roof of the house i just bought in 2018, with a warranty of 5 years and now they dont want to take care of the reparation because I'm a new owner, when the warranty said is transferable to the new owner filling a form, in the time frame(that nobody know what is the time frame).

When I asked her to send me the form she said it wont give it to me. They are going to make your roof but the warranty its all a lie. Save your money and peace of mind and Go somewhere else!

A new roof is something you hope to only have to do a few times in your lifetime and it generally makes you cringe to even think about it. The first company I contacted for this replacement gave me the creeps, wanted half up front, and couldn't tell me when they might get me on their schedule. I was uncomfortable enough to ask friends for referrals and EZ Roof was one of those.

Of the estimates I received EZ was the most professional and prompt (good job, Josh) and we went with them. Could not be happier. They communicate well, they're professional, friendly, and very competitive. When they were done Claire was fantastic to work with getting our claim completed. Thank you, EZ Roof, for making a complicated thing simple and worry free.

*** BEWARE NEW OWNER *** We had a very positive experience in 2019 when E-Z Roof installed a brand new roof on our home. That was when the company was operated by its previous owner. Unfortunately my most recent experience (Dec., 2020) involving a simple caulking repair cost $200. The company's response to my attempt to dispute the charge was disgraceful.

We had another Birmingham roofing company else do the repair first. What a mistake! The gentleman from EZ Roof went on roof took pics came down showed us what needed to be done. Fixed in no time. Took pic after to show what had been done. We highly recommend this company! Very professional and reasonably priced. Should have called them first.

FANTASTIC! I wish all contractors were this good and accurate with their work. The number one thing I loved the most. When I met Gerry, the first thing out of his mouth wasnt "who's your insurance company and let me get their info". He never asked once about how it would be paid for. When I asked him why. He said that was my decision and he is just giving a quote for a roof.

It was the same price either way. Then a few weeks later everything went as planned, the work looks good, and the cleanup was out of this world! I have never seen any house be so clean after a job. I understand something here or there might get by. Most contractors just don't care and leave trash all over (especially nails). They replaced my roof over 2 years ago and I have only found 2 nails. I will only recommend this company to everyone I meet. I even had 2 of my neighbors use them already!

It was an absolute pleasure doing business with EZ Roof, especially Josh Alemond! The customer service was extremely professional and fantastic from start to finish. We are very pleased with the quality, color and price of our new roof! The crew that installed our roof had an impeccable work ethic and cleaned up after themselves completely. For anyone seeking to hire a roofing company, I highly recommend using EZ Roof!

The work was professional, the price was competitive, and the personnel were friendly and cooperative. I wouldn't even consider using another roofer.

I would recommend EZ-Roof highly. The job was done in a timely manner, the workers were polite and clearly interested in doing a good job. Gerry gave me a very good estimate and stuck to his price even when the job became more complicated than he had expected. If you are looking for a roofer you can't beat EZ-Roof.

I was pleased beyond expectation with Gerry and his team at EZ-Roof. Gerry ( the owner) was involved with us throughout the entire process. On the day of install he put a double work crew on the job to make sure the roof was ready due to the strong possibility of rain. His office assistant, Katie was very efficient and pleasant to work with as well.

They were very professional. By that I mean they showed up exactly when they said they would (and gave me the exact day they were coming well in advance), they had experienced roofers doing the work, they were very respectful while working on our home, and they left everything in proper order.

Superb customer service! I needed a new roof ASAP and Josh and his team were able to deliver in record time. He was on time for our initial appointment and explained the options clearly - offering sound advice on which type of roof would be best for our needs. Furthermore, the crew was on time and did the job in less than two days (including removing two layers of shingles and several decking repairs). The crew cleaned up the space - leaving it in better shape than when they showed up! Seriously! I would recommend EZ Roof to all my friends and family members.
