The service was great. Adam, was the technician and he came to fix my oven within 2 hours of my call. He called to let me know he was 15 minutes away, then called we he arrived. He explained everything, was very polite and was able to fix it quickly. It was also pretty reasonable. I will definitely use them again!

First it was the control panel on the oven. Fine. Ordered it and Superior Appliance came back to install. No, it's not the control panel, it's the temperature sensor. But the previous repairman said it wasn't the temperature sensor. But this 2nd repairman said it is. So, after several hundred dollars, why am I paying for you to incorrectly diagnose the oven? Apparently Superior Appliances don't keep records on who did what, so each repair man is starting from scratch and therefore, will tell you something different.

I've had several great experiences working with this company, and specifically a technician named Bechir. He does outstanding work, is friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and also is someone you can trust. He stands by his work, and puts in extra effort to make sure the job is done well. I feel fortunate to have found him, and he'll always be the first call I make if I need any appliances worked on.

I called Superior Appliance Services after my oven igniter broke. This was on a Sunday and they were able to come in on Monday! The fix was really easy and they called me about 20 minutes before they arrived. This was basically the only place that could do what I needed them to do in a timely and efficient manner. I think it was a little expensive but not too bad for the convenience factor.

I apologize for reviewing this company so late. I contacted this company because of the good ratings, but when the technician, and I use that term loosely, showed up, he appeared to have an attitude. He was to look at my stovetop and my Maytag washer. He told me that he would order the part for the stove top, but the Maytag should be replaced. He said he'd order the part for the stove, pulled out his phone, and took my credit card for the price of the visit. Told me that would be deducted from the price of the final repair.
That was August of 2020. I tried to contact them, but no answer. Fast forward to February 2021, and I've heard nothing from them. I finally used another contractor, and they were prompt and courteous!

This is my second great experience with Superior Appliance Services. After acting glitchy for about a week, our fridge officially broke this morning and I called them up about 10am, then came by at 2:00 and diagnosed that it was the motherboard. They had a new one in the car and replaced it quickly and were very courteous. The price was reasonable as well. I cannot recommend them enough and I'm grateful for a smooth experience today.

My freezer wasn't freezing, nor making ice. I called Superior Appliance Services mid-afternoon. Mohamed (sp?) arrived same-day (late evening, in fact). He was began assessing my fridge and quickly ascertained that all that was needed was the coils to be cleaned, which he did. He said the fridge needed up to 24 hours to work normally - less than 12 hours later it now does! Thanks Superior Appliance Services!

The tech came promptly and checked the issue and could not find anything. Told us to call them again when there is an issue. Today, we see that the freezer is hot and all the ice is melting. Call the tech and found out that they are booked till next saturday.! Not sure what to think of this. Am sure business can get booked, but for an issue like this I cannot wait 9 days. Felt let down. now i have to find another company to come check our issue.

These guys are very responsive, honest, knowledgeable, and reliable. I have used them to repair our washing machine twice (different issues). They answer the call immediately and arrive within a couple hours. With two successful experiences, they are now my default appliance repair company. The technician (Adam) knew exactly the proper steps to progressively diagnose and correct the problems with minimal time and cost. He knows appliances! He had the part on the truck and within an hour the job was complete. Clean work, polite service, good fix.

UPDATE: IT GETS WORSE! As soon as I posted this one star review, the company called me to try to bribe me to take it down. They didn't care at all about the fridge still leaking. They said they would refund $177 if I agreed to take down this review. I told them I would update the review but not take it down. The guy on the phone tried to pick a fight with me to bully me into taking down the review.
I just checked my credit card and there still is no refund on it. If you want your appliances fixed and honest business practices, you'll have to look elsewhere. And I just tried to file a Better Business Bureau complaint but it turns out they're not registered with the BBB as Superior Appliance Services, they're registered as Atlas Appliance Services, Inc.
Funny when you search for reviews of Atlas Appliance Services, Inc. they're all terrible. Think maybe the company changed their name because they were getting too many bad reviews to bribe everyone to take them down?

We called for repair and Muhammed came right away. He told us that the dishwasher needed a new motor, but it wasn't worth buying one, and that the washing machine needed a new drain pump. We paid $95 for the initial visit and he said he'd call back after the pump arrived. This was around the holidays, so I was fine with it taking awhile.
Three weeks later, with no call, I called back. He said he would need us to text him the receipt for $95 so he would have the information for his records. (The receipt was in triplicate, so it wasn't clear why he didn't have this information.) He said once we'd done that, he'd call back and set up a follow up appointment. He never called back. At this point, I was sick of the whole thing and gave up.

I received service today when my refrigerator started leaking water profusely. Of course, I hopped on yelp and saw Superior Appliance Services had really high reviews. I called and was told someone could come between 2-6 and they'd call within 30 minutes of arrival. The gentleman came at 1:30, which was even better so I could do this while I had lunch.
He had an idea of what the issue was prior to arriving, and quickly diagnosed it and solved it. I think the service took about an hour or so. I felt like the pricing was fair, though I didn't fully shop around, but I thought he did a great job.

This company picked up when I called and sent somebody to my home relatively soon after our call. This was already A+ behavior in my book. The technician who was sent to my home, Muhammad, was just excellent. It turns out that my dryer was too far gone for repair, but Muhammad took the time to carefully examine the whole thing to figure out what could be done.
He was meticulous and extremely committed to helping me and his ultimate advice -- that I would end up spending more money repairing the dryer than I would buying a new one -- was super helpful. Having had this positive experience, I am looking forward to calling Superior Appliance Services whenever I need help with my appliances!

7/10/18 - We are currently working with them to fix a washing machine. They are quick to respond and show up on time. 7/14/18 - Unfortunately, the part we need is on backorder, but they were able to give us the part number to order it ourselves because they can only order parts through official vendors. I'll update this review as we go on.

I called for dishwasher service. They have a $75 fee for diagnosis and estimate, which seems reasonable. The problem was they wanted the fee before they even gave me a diagnosis and estimate of cost/time for the repair. What the heck? I would've hired them to do the repair almost surely, but I am paying for the estimate and ETA for the repair.
Anyone can come out and charge $75 then say they can't fix it. Why would they withhold an estimate until I pay? Especially since if I accept their estimate, I no longer owe the $75 fee as it is refunded! What is so secret/important about the estimate? In the appliance repair world, it rarely makes sense to repair your appliance. I was trying to save a few bucks and hassle by doing a repair instead of just replacing the whole thing. But all the good appliance repair people have moved onto other professions and all that is left is the crappy ones, like these guys.
