Very unprofessional sewer line replacement. Contacting them after the job was "complete" they refused to repair the automatic sprinkler lines that they hacked into pieces, and refused to replace the grass that they dug through. During the job they even took the huge concrete chunks from the sidewalk they tore out and tried to burry them into the trench they made, leaving the front of my house with a 40 ft long strip of dirt scattered with big concrete chunks, and cut sprinkler lines sticking out. There were also pieces of the old sewer pipe left behind after the job. A complete hack job that they rushed through to finish in less than a day.

Great people. Awesome commercial work for apartments and commercial buildings. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

These guys came out and they diligently worked until after 11pm and never once were rude or unkind despite all the trials the water heater gave the apartments. Just want to say thank you guys for working day and night and back again to fix our hot water we appreciate you so much as tenants. I'd recommend them anyway.

Critical: Value I booked 3 drain cleanings on my rental properties. This was for maintenance only. No issues. The price changed when they showed up. From $99 to $99 +$25 truck charge + $35 to carry the machine down the stairs. Completely ridiculous!

***** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ****** The City of Englewood requires backflow testing and certification. Master Rooter is a preferred provider for the City of Englewood. Their technician came to our site, did not test, pulled off the tags from the site, announced we needed a rebuild, indicated he would send in a passing test to the city but that we need to schedule a rebuild.

The certification tests were NOT sent in to the city. After several follow-ups where we were told they would send in the test results, we began to follow-up with the city. When we told the city what happened, they indicated they would not accept the passing test from Master Rooter if we needed a rebuild. We contracted with another preferred provider and they came and actually tested our site.

Our site passed and DOES NOT NEED A REBUILD. They have already sent the certification results to the City of Englewood (same day) and we will not have our water shut off. I called Master Rooter and requested a refund since they didn't perform the test and indicated we needed a rebuild when we did not. They have refused, stating that the work we requested was performed and in their technician's opinion, the work was required.

They indicated we hadn't paid yet when I have a copy of the the cashed check and then said they were behind in their bookkeeping due to COVID. ******THIS IS NOT AN ETHICAL COMPANY

Love Master Rooters pricing but I think most bad reviews don't understand what's wrong with their system and think everything cost $200. I sold hvac 15 years ago and can vouch for pricing just do a little research on average cost of typical problems and these guys are way more affordable than the rest of the Market. Deceptive technicians deceptive pricing. It was a long and drawn out process. Verbal Quote was not honored. Arrived without the proper equipment. If you proceed with this company good luck.

Hello Just wanted to give a good review for an employee named Henry that came to Legend Oaks Apartments We have had a few people come to try to figure out where the leak is coming from but he was the only one that stayed about 2 or more hours going back and forth and really trying to investigate and resolve the issue. Even though we have masks I can tell he is smiling right through it and eager to get his job done productively. Keep up the good work!

We give Master Rooter Plumbing 5 stars based on our experience! The service was outstanding and very prompt. The technician was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Rather than stopping after initially unplugging our sewer line and confirming via camera, he went to extra measures to continue removing roots and unplugging to restore our system to nearly 100% capacity. The price was very reasonable too!

Definitely do your research before being employed here! You'll make money but get fired overnight when owner feels the need he doesn't need you! Great place to learn and piggy back off to start your own business or grow to a better company! The best manager the company has had has left check the records! I had a mainline backup emergency. I called another company who sent someone out the same day. That technician said a lot of things that didn't seem right or make sense, trying to upsell. From the Tom Martino referral list, I called MRP for a second opinion and Tony, the owner, offered to do the second opinion camera work for free, and came with Frank to look at the video footage. Frank was incredibly patient while I asked a ton of questions.

He made reasonable recommendations, that I plan to follow up on as soon as the budget allows. When I ran a load of laundry after they left, the floor trap started bubbling. I called Frank and he talked me through a few options I could try before spending more money on another house call. Great service!

It's a shame they do not have zero star ratings on here! Look at other reviews (on Yelp as well), you will see I'm not the only unhappy customer. My drain backed up and I called Master rooter. They came out and cleared the line then recommended a scope, which we did. Upon review of the scope Master Rooter told me I needed the main sewer line replaced ($$$$$$$$$$$).

I then called for a second opinion from Sewer Scope LLC. They came out and the first thing they did is scoped the line. It was already plugged back up from the day before. Daryl then brought in his "big machine" and cleaned the sewer line. We then scoped again and the line was clean. Daryl indicated that the sewer pipe was in good condition and under no conditions needed to be replaced.

Their owner, Tony, called me in response to this review which he clearly didnt like. He was a completely arrogant RUDE JERK. I asked for a refund and he told me to pound sand and also threatened me asking if I wanted to "meet in person" after I expressed my distaste with him and his company. Keep talking Tony, I'll have the cops there in no time flat! Honestly don't waste your time there are honest businesses out there and THIS IS NOT ONE! BEWARE!

I've been looking for a plumber I could trust for a long time. This entire team is amazing! From the dispatcher to the plumber everyone is there to make sure you are taken care of. Fair pricing and very efficient. Everything you could ask for in a trusted plumber. I needed them to come out in the middle of the night and Jordan was absolutely amazing when helping get someone out as quickly as possible. 10 out of 10 for service! Thank you master rooter!

This was by far the best experience I've ever had dealing with a plumbing company! When scheduling service, the person on the phone was extremely polite and professional, they gave me a 2 hr time window and showed up 15 minutes early! The plumber came prepared and had my toilet fixed in no time, I highly recommend that anyone with plumbing needs contact Master Rooter.

I am giving one star just because of the previous plumber we had, otherwise I would give zero stars for this last plumber that came to our house. We found out yesterday that the problems we had with our main sewer line were made up by him. We had our line inspected with a camera and none of the problems he said we had were true. My advice to Master Rooter is; Only hire honest, experienced plumbers that know what they are doing.

Terrible company. They did work for a family member and they had to come back several times for a small issue. Eventually, we called another company who fixed the problem right away and we haven't had issues since. They do not care about the people they are servicing, we tried to at least get a discount and were treated very poorly. They tell you someone will call you back and you will never hear from anyone. RUN!

My husband and I picked Master Rooter to replace the main sewer line in our house. Master Rooter is definetly more expensive than others but they assured us they finish every job efficiently and to the customer's satisfaction and I was ok paying a lot more knowing they wouldn't destroy my lawn in the process. What actually happened was much worse than some dead grass.

After installing the sewer line, they reconnected the sprinkler lines and they buried the trench they created. Within a week the trench caved in and broke our sprinler line. About two weeks went by before they showed up. When they showed up however, they came to fill the trench with more dirt, leaving my broken sprinkler line even less accesssible.

A few days after that they sent a crew out to fix the sprinkler line. I met the crew outside of my house and they said they were looking over what parts needed to be bought for the sprinkler line to be fixed and that they would go to Home Depot for the parts they needed and would soon return. They left and never came back. Now as we try to get ahold of them we are having no luck from them to help us even though they give a 5 year warranty on their work and it hasn't been more than a few weeks and we have had several problems already.

We might go the Better Business Bureau route but we see that they had their BBB accreditation removed last year for exactly this reason. They weren't able to complete the job to the customer's satisfaction and refused to help their own customers in good faith. Stay away from these people! My husband and I are both in our 70's and we don't have the time or energy for all of this chaos.

Kevin from Master Rooter was the bright spot in a pretty crappy day for me. I live in an apartment complex, and my water heater had some sort of malfunction that caused it to spew like a fire hydrant. Once it got shut off (after way too long. the complex's fault, not Master Rooter's), Kevin came in early on a Sunday morning and had us hooked up to a brand new water heater before 1:00 pm. He was friendly, quick, and professional, and, best of all, we were only without hot water for a couple of hours. Thanks, Kevin and Master Rooter!

WORST experience ever! They came out to do a simple drain cleaning and ended up flooding my basement. Then the technician offered to fix it on a side deal "cash only". This was incredibly SHADY and I had to take them to court which cost me several thousand dollars. BEWARE as this was the worst experience of my life!

Had someone come out for a free quote- well thank god it was free because the guy was a total asshole! We had just purchased this house and he continued to go on about how we should have bought a house somewhere outside of denver because we could have gotten such a nicer place for what we probably paid for our new house. SERIOUSLY? He said this about 4 times in the 10 minutes he was in our house.

And then he said he could tell us where the leak was coming from but we would need to pay $120 for that plus $55 after hours fee. "Dispatch must have forgotten to tell you that." Really? that's the sketchiest thing i've ever heard! Not to mention that he quotes us $3500 for a $300 job! Oh, and then he found out we were from california and said "oh you guys are rich then." Um, how about you get the fuck out of my house. WORST PLUMBER EVER.

Great service! I just moved into a new condo (new to me) and the water heater seemed like it might be running poorly so I got on Home Adviser and Master Rooter called me right away, they were courteous and flexible and offered a free quote which was huge for me. It turns out my water heater is functioning just fine but also runs my furnace so it will run more often than they typical water heater.

The tech explained everything to me and helped me understand how to adjust it if needed. Glad to have saved money on replacing one and even more so to have saved money having a free estimate whereas other companies would have charged upwards of $80 to just come out. Super friendly staff, quick service. I will use them again and do recommend.

Friendly, professional service. They came out same day, called before they showed up and were ahead of schedule. Justin did a great job. He was very nice, efficient, and put everything back in place before he left. All of this for a very reasonable price. Far better than other emergency rooters I have used.

Do Not use this company. I had a leaking outdoor faucet that need to be repaired. Had this company out last fall to look at the problem. The plumber that came out capped the leaking faucet and told us to wait until next spring (2016) and call them back and the would replace the faucet. At the time the plumber estimated the cost would be $350.00 to do the repairs.

So I called Master Rooter Plumbing back out a few weeks ago and now I was quoted for same job $500.00. The plumber that came out quoted a addition fee of $100 would be required to go into a crawl space under the house to do the work plus $400 standard fee for a total of $500, Master Rooter is way over priced, I was able to get the repairs done by a master plumber for $250 which is reasonable. Before calling Master Rooter Plumbing call other plumbers and get a second estimate. Thumbtack is a good resource for me finding another plumber.

They came out to give us a quote. Luckily that was free of charge. Jason seemed nice and knowledgable, however, $600 to install a sink and faucet? Home Depot gave us a quote of $266.

This company is fantastic. I highly recommend them to anybody needing work done. We had our upstairs washer leak 2 weeks ago on a Sunday. They responded within 2 hours of our call, Kevin was great and explained what was needed next and called Deep Water Restoration. Yesterday our sump pump was having issues and Master Rooter had somebody here within 3 hours of calling. Aaron was informative and within an hour and picked up and replaced our pump.

I knew this was going to be a pricier project than it might have been otherwise (fix a very leaky faucet) - it's an older house, and the faucets are probably original. They were able to send someone out the next afternoon to do an estimate, and Frank was friendly, polite, and honest about exactly why the estimate came in at the price it did. It was not the highest estimate we'd gotten, and he also gave us a small price break for going ahead and doing it the same day.

He did a great job, and also checked around the house for any other impending plumbing crises, and even corrected a water heater vent that was a little off, at no extra charge. We'd absolutely call them again.

Had a plumber out recently to fix a gas fireplace floor control valve. He told us it was going to be a half-day job and that it would cost us between $2,000 - $3,000 (Higher math tells us that the part is $275 and his billable rate is $681.25/hr). Last time I checked, the qualifications for being a plumber is not 8 years of a higher education and another 6-7 years of residency.

The The Gas Connection fixed the valve for $400. Thanks, Gas Connection. We all appreciate an ethical business. I hope this plumber and the aforementioned company he represents is not taking advantage of less fortunate people. Still had to pay this guy a $35 service call charge. I would have paid more to expedite his departure from our home.

This was my second time using Master Rooter. This time it was a water heater replacement. My tech was once again Frank, and once again he was awesome. He described all of my options in un-biased detail and didn't ever pressure me.

Kevin came out the same day we called when we had a plumbing issue. He was knowledgeable and professional. The cost was affordable and the work was done well. We will certainly be using this company in the future.

Frank was very knowledgeable and took time out to explain everything he was going to do. I felt so comfortable that I told him to go ahead and get the work done immediately, which he did. His estimate was lower than the previous estimate I received and he used a higher quality valve.

The price he gave me came in below what I'm seeing from the competition. So, when my sewer backed up in the basement, we immediately called Master Rooter and Frank was able to get to our house in about 45 minutes.

He was quick to correct the problem, and offered us advice for how to avoid it in the future. He was so helpful and friendly. Best of all, the Saturday visit didn't cost us any extra! I'll definitely call these guys again.

Up until two weeks ago, Master Rooter was my very favorite plumbing company. Three years ago, Tony creatively and successfully solved a years-old problem of ground water soaking into and flooding my basement crawl space.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! They are scam artists(or at least try to be but they suck at that too) they are also very unprofessional. They wasted an entire day. They showed up hours late for the appointment. They stayed here for hours without fixing anything. Then they had to come back the next day and tried to sell a $2,000 that was not necessary. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS.

We have used Master Rooter for several years and they are always professional, able to come quickly, and their prices are GREAT!
