Not at all happy with this company after working with them to have an outdoor CCTV system installed for our home. We did not sign up for a monitoring contract with them, and I think that's where they draw the line on any customer service (previous reviewers have mentioned this as well). I can't get them to help me at all with the existing system installation to improve and understand the operation of the system. Also, they only had ONE tech who knew CCTV systems, and even he wasn't that knowledgeable IMHO.
The quality of the system in daytime is reasonable, but nighttime is atrocious and they won't help me at all with this after calling and emailing multiple times. Frustrating. I suggest looking elsewhere, like the local company that has a 4 letter acronym in its name that does bigger business contracts.

I live out in in the middle of nowhere and getting quality service out here is no easy task. Lloyd Security not only was happy to provide service, but scheduling service with a technician for installation (and getting them back out her for support when I sorta jacked my system --- oops!) was surprisingly easy! The service isn't cheap, but what I'm getting in service and protection is worth the investment.

I have been a Lloyd Security customer for over 15 years. They are very responsive to questions and issues. I recently scheduled 1 update to my security system. Then I thought of one more update, before the service date. They have reasonable up front pricing and I have no problem, paying for the service call and parts in advance. The Tech, Chad, arrived today on time and I asked him about some other components that might be dated.
He gave me good advice that these components might last a few more years but that it would not be too soon to replace them now. He said, he had all of those parts in the truck. No second service call needed. Tech was here as long as it took and got my system completely updated with everything, I asked for. The online e-sign Contract was emailed and I was all set. Thank you Lloyd Security for great service and reasonable cost.

I could not be more happy with the professionals that installed our home security system. Also I was quite surprised at the full color picture quality of all of the images that feed right to my phone. It's very user-friendly and intuitive. I have known the owner of this company since 2002 and she really knows her stuff and her team couldn't have been more helpful and more professional.

My daughter, Vanessa recommended this company as the one she uses, so we had them install our security system also. We have been very happy with them from the very beginning. They did everything on time and was even able to do the add ons that I requested promptly. Whenever I have questions, i get a response back very quickly and we feel secure with them.

We signed up for Lloyd Security a few years back and were very happy with their straightforward and honest sales process and smooth installation. They have one of the best systems and I love that it can be controlled via the desktop or mobile app. They use Alarm.com, which has been very easy to use and reliable. Lloyd's Security is an honest business with good people, so that's why we decided to renew our service with them again.

We chose Lloyd security in 2015 based purely on google reviews, so we felt like we should probably add our input. Choosing a local company was the best choice we could have made. We have had Lloyd at 2 houses now and through both installs and service experiences, we have had nothing but a positive experience. With both installs, we were met with a personal touch that addressed our specific needs.
We were never pressured into adding features beyond what we were looking for and anytime I have had a question on our system have been met with personal customer service. Hats off to Nick and Ben on our last install. They were very patient and accommodating through various modifications we wanted to make last minute and gave us nothing but a positive attitude. Highly recommend.

We have been customers with Lloyd Security for 5+ years. Recently, the two Lloyd techs that visited our office did a wonderful job. Both were super friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and an overall joy to work with. When it comes to something as critical as office security, we rest easy knowing that Lloyd will always deliver and 'make it happen' for us. I definitely recommend starting a conversation with them if you're looking for the best the Twin Cities has to offer.

We previously were using Vivint, but recently moved to a house which used a Llyod Security system so we decided to switch. Turns out they use the same equipment so its been an easy learning curve for us. Getting signed up for the system and the installation was a piece of cake. Everyone has been really nice and helpful. I love that the monthly fee is one base price so no matter how many window or door sensors we added, our monthly fee stayed the same. Vivint increased the monthly fee based on the number of sensors so our cost ended up going down, and I didn't feel restricted on how many sensors to add to our house in order to feel secure.
We also signed up for the smart thermostat which ties in with the system and the same app - previously we had the Nest which was run off a separate system - so its really convenient to have all the control in one place now. Plus the geofence feature based on cell phone location is pretty awesome - if I leave the house and forget to arm the house, I'll get a reminder and my thermostat will automatically override my program and turn down the house temp to my away temperature! I'm really happy we decided to try Llyod instead of taking Vivint with us!

Have had nothing but poor service from day one. Today, I asked to be released from my contract due to numerous service and system issues and was told I would have to pay the balance regardless. I understand having to comply with a contract but when the customer doesn't get the service or product that was promised and becomes dissatisfied because results and resolutions are not forthcoming, the right thing to do is let the customer go.

I am a Lloyd customer. Today I had a question about my system. At 6:15 pm I called 866-995-7607 which is the number to call if you have an emergency. I got a recording asking me to stay on the line and someone would be with me shortly. The recording repeated several times along with some type of music. After several additional recordings asking me to stay on the line I heard a click followed by the dial tone. This is my security company. Why should I stay with Lloyd Security? Would you?

I had a great experience with Lloyd Security. The entire team was very knowledgeable and responsive throughout the process. I first started with Nate who gave me all of the product information and pricing I needed over the phone and then during an on-site visit to my home. The installers were prompt, professional and courteous. One of the installers, Ben, came back when I had a problem with the placement of one glass break alarm (not Lloyd's fault) in the evening--sacrificing time with his family to help a customer more quickly.
I would have paid more just for the great customer service, but Lloyd's was actually very competitive compared to larger, national services. Thank you for the great service and attention!
