Terra Dura

Andrew and Sarah did a wonderful job on our backyard! They listened to each request (e.g. native plants, low water, dog-friendly, and fairly indestructible from both the dogs and my lack of gardening skills/time) and not only took into account the physical space (e.g. completely shaded from large trees), but also talked with us about what we use the space for and how we want to feel when we walk out into our backyard.

The end result is exactly what we wanted - a beautiful, functional space that can handle a drought, a deluge, dogs, kids, adult barbecues, and everything between. Additionally, the guys who came out to do the daily grinding work were professional, friendly, timely, and all around great to work with.

Andrew and his crew did a fantastic job in turning our old oddly laid out backyard/deck area into a kid friendly oasis. Everything from the design process through the build went smoothly. Any issues we have had since the completion of our project have been promptly dealt with. I would highly recommend Terra Dura to anyone looking for an outside remodel.

We were very happy to have worked with Terra Dura. Andrew has great vision and a passion for integrating native plants into beautiful landscape designs that do not overutilize resources. Our project manager, Sarah, was probably the best part of the experience. She brings great energy and makes the project run smoothly while saving money where we could.

The entire team of workers were great to have around the house. They were very respectful and friendly. They cleaned up after themselves and were efficient workers. We had a pretty large project and the team did a great job. Any punch list items were quickly addressed without push-back. This was a large investment that was worth the cost.

We're putting a pool in and had Andrew come out to the house to review several items we wanted completed on the landscaping. After a week and a half, we had to follow up with him to see where he was in the process. The next morning we received a laughable drawing that put a fire pit in the complete opposite part of the yard where we told him we wanted it and none of the other 4-5 things we asked for.

When we called him out for his delays and poor design, he told us he didn't want to do business with us anymore. Feeling's mutual, pal. We dodged a bullet here for sure.

Terra Dura did an amazing job designing & implementing a creative, budget-conscious fence & landscape project at my home in East Austin. They communicated clearly throughout the process and accommodated my requests in a cost-effective manner that fully achieved the vibe & aesthetic that I was hoping for. The result is a creative front-yard fence with a textured, modern style and unique accent colors, as well as an amazing grouping of succulents that utilize the existing contours and design of my small lot. Last, but not least, the quality of their workmanship is excellent and included replacement of my irrigation system and installation of front & side gates. In sum: Terra Dura rocks! As a budget-conscious homeowner, you will not find a better full-service outdoor design firm.

Some bumps in the road with weather, scheduling, and coordination, but the work is stellar. The crews are clean, cordial, efficient, and skilled. They did not flinch and completing our design to specifications and helping resolve issues that arose in the application on site. Outside of the minor speed bumps, we are very happy with the work and more than pleased with the result.

Very disappointed with trying to work with Adam. Couldn't bother to call me on time, and when I took the trouble to call him, he made it clear that he wasn't interested in our project. After I provided him with a plat and brief description of our plan, he told me to do it ourselves and hire day laborers. Obviously didn't care for our low budget. Completely insulting. This is all the time I'm wasting on Terra Dura. Don't bother if you don't plan on spending big bucks with these people.

I've had many different people come out to service my lawn but there were always communication issues that left me really unhappy with the work done. But the guys from Terra Dura heard what I wanted done and did exactly that. I'm very pleased!

These guys are top notch lawn care gurus! I've dealt with my share of providers that simply cannot complete their jobs on time, and when they do, the service really isn't that great. These guys are exactly what I'm looking for.reliable and can offer pretty much any service you need for your lawn and do a fantastic job. I definitely give them my seal of approval :

Andrew and his crew did a very laborious job in our backyard this summer. I appreciated their friendliness and hard work ethic. They came day after day and completed the huge job on time. I added several additions and they were done right and economically. I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again for any landscaping job I might have in the future.
