Anderson's Door in Seattle, WA was opened to provide a garage door installation and repair for the greater Seattle area. Our company history began when Orville Anderson started in the garage door industry building and installing one-piece doors for Sturdee Door in South Seattle. He then worked as a salesman for Stanley Door in Kent, Washington.
After several years Stanley Door began manufacturing garage doors and stopped installing. At this time Orville and Marion Anderson opened Anderson's Door Company in February 1977. We have been at the same location ever since.

Scott, from Anderson's Door Co., just came to my home today as my garage door was not working properly. He was friendly, on-time, professional, honest and figured out and fixed the issues right away. The price was very affordable. This is my first time with his company and I am very pleased. I highly recommend them!

Amazing job and great customer service! When my old wooden garage door rotted, letting in all sorts of critters, they were able to come out and not only put in a new door, but also all the new framing required by a 100-year old concrete bunker style detached garage. A year later, when the indoor opener stopped working due to water damage, they were over here in less than 24 hours and fixed it without charge. Thanks so much, Dave!

Our garage door motor went out after 30 yrs. I called Anderson Door and Steve came over within a few days (better than I expected during this COVID slowdown period). He accurately sized up the problem, we made an appt for a few days later, and Steve and his crew came over an mounted a new motor and belt drive. They also put a new structural horizontal bar on the old garage door, and tightened up the many 1/4 bolts on the door. (The customer, me, had backed into the door at high speed years ago and bent everything out of whack, and the door was structurally unsound.) Works perfectly. Our older motor and door tracks were a loud rattle-trap, and the new one is very quiet. Happy customer.

We couldn't have had a better experience than we did last week with Anderson's Door. I spoke with Liz first thing in the morning and she was extremely helpful and friendly. Steve was able to come out later that day to assess our situation and advise on best course of action. We ended up replacing our 20+ year old Craftsman opener with a new LiftMaster unit. David and Amir came to install and were friendly and professional. The unit is working great and the billing process was a breeze. So glad Anderson's Door was my first call and they will be again for any related services.

The door itself is good quality. Their were problems with the install. The salesman said during all three calls to him, he would be out that day to talk about it. He never showed up and I am unhappy with that. Before the door was installed I rebuilt the jambs, moved the lighting and cabinets to a location the sales man said would work fine. ( Both my Wife and I were there to listen to the new locations.) When the installer showed up, he would not install until I removed two of the brand new cabinets.
Also need to move lighting a second time. My frustration with this is very high! The next part is my fault, thought it would come with external key pad. Never asked never told. So now I must purchase one. If you choose Anderson for your garage door be very careful and follow through completely with the salesman to avoid mishaps.

Responsive! Door cable broke Tuesday night, I called Wednesday morning, Dave Livingston came Thursday morning. He knew exactly what he was doing, and had the replacement cables on his truck. Checked everything, tightened bolts, adjusted this & that. Now it works like it used to do! Nice guy, and I appreciated what he knew and what he did, but he did not wear any kind of facemask nor try to keep his distance! I wore mask and kept moving away from him. Website says all employees wear masks, but not Dave L.!

Anderson Doors replaced our seriously damaged garage door in the early 2000s. They did an excellent job at that time. They are still excellent today. Late last week our garage door failed mechanically. Anderson came to our home the next day and completely repaired the door and checked all the hardware. They also lubricated the moving parts and confirmed that it is working properly. I couldn't ask for better service and the cost was very reasonable!

We were really impressed that they found a way to slip us in for a quick repair after our garage door broke over the weekend. Steve has been great to work with before and once again when we called him he was really responsive and on top of it. Thanks again and we would highly recommend Anderson's Doors!

I live in Ballard. Anderson Door is on Aurora Ave. Anderson installed our garage door in 2018. Recently the top roller came off the track because the track is barely long enough when the door closes. After I got the roller back into the track I asked them to come out because it seemed to me that the installer cut the track too short. The repair person came out and I told him I thought the door was installed improperly.
He sprayed oil on the roller and said I should have keep the rollers oiled. (I oil them a couple of times a year) Next he said - That will be $100.33. I said I asked you to see if the installation was questionable and you're charging me $100.33 to spray oil on a roller that I oiled a few months ago. He said - Your warrantee is expired - We don't make repair calls for free.
I asked to be billed and he said that's too much paper work for them - pay me now. My wife and I were shocked. But then - maybe our expectations were unreasonable. I did pay them to avoid having a lien placed on my house. Buyer beware!

Had a great experience with these folks. First rate! Don't you hate it when the giant scary spring on your garage door goes KABLOOIE? And then there are cables flopping around and the door seems to weigh a million tons? That happened to us; luckily we checked Yelp and found Anderson's Door Co. Phone triage was excellent; the workers came out quickly and were both personable and super-efficient. If your garage door needs help, give Anderson Door Co. a try.

Twenty nine years ago, I had Anderson Door install a garage door for me. I have never had a bit of trouble with it, but figured it was time for a bit of routine maintenance. Dave came out promptly, and efficiently went through his routine. It now runs very smoothly, so I guess it did need some TLC. I highly recommend Anderson's Door Company. They are able to do the job when others can't.

Last month I had them replace a garage door on an older building The door was a difficult fit, The old door was leaking and they were able to custom fit a brand new door that looks awesome and keeps the water out. I was very impressed with their professionalism and the quality of the work. I would definitely recommend them, and I will use them again.

We're in love with our new garage doors. Anderson made the process very easy - even in the midst of this pandemic. Very friendly and professional throughout the organization - from the initial estimate to the appointment setting and service. The price was very fair and the installation was a breeze. It was completed in less than 4 hours and wasn't disruptive at all. Really glad I went with Anderson for this project - our doors now look 100% better and are a lot quieter when opening/closing!

Great experience working with David Anderson! I requested quotes on Angie's List and within an hour or two had a response from David. We had purchased our own garage door opener but got stuck at the very end with the wiring and needed someone to come finish the installation. Reasonable prices for what we needed and able to schedule an appointment within two days (it was a weekend and he still responded). Appointment was seamless and got our garage door up and running in no time. Highly recommend!

After receiving many quotes to seal up my very old doors these guys came out with a 'can do' attitude. They didn't try to sell me new doors and were very creative and thoughtful in how to seal my doors without it costing me a mint. They were very professional and thoughtful. Couldn't recommend them enough, especially if you aren't in the market for spending the money on new doors and just need to seal up the bottom of your existing doors.

My experience with Anderson was not positive. Estimate was fine. Problems started with the installation and shortly thereafter. The installer showed up missing some accessories that needed to be installed with the new doors. Anderson's Door Co didn't follow up on the what the next steps were to resolve the issue. So I made the trek down to the store to inquire.
The employee working at the front desk said they were too busy to come out and do the installation and that I was on my own to get them installed. I've had much more positive experiences at other local garage door companies.

These guys were amazing. We went out to our garage and pushed the button to raise the door. It started to go up then went back down. Did this again. So I tried to raise the door manually but pulling the red handle did nothing to free up the door. I called Anderson Door Company. This very nice lady answered and said she would try to get someone. She called back in minutes and said that Scott was on his way to West Seattle and was not sure how long a job he had.
He would call when he finished. Scott called a couple hours later and was on the way. Very nice guy. He quickly determined that the springs were broken. He had the door fixed in about 40 minutes. We could now get our car out. What a relied. I understand we were fortunate that Scott was in the area. But the quick response was wonderful and greatly appreciated. And I thought the price was fair and that Scott did not take advantage of our severe predicament. Thanks Scott and Anderson Door Company.

After a horrific experience of hiring an unprofessional company to install our newly-bought Chamberlain garage door opener, we finally found Anderson - a professional company with employees that are polite, on-time, and do the job well! Technician Scott came by and was able to gather up the mess left behind by the previously hired unprofessional technician from a different company. Scott was quick at figuring out what the problem was and immediately came out with a solution. Scott is a professional, experienced, diligent technician. Scott and his company, Anderson, was a godsend after a stressful experience of having a non-functional garage door. I'd also like to thank the lady who answered the phone and scheduled us.
She understood our predicament and tried to help us out after we told her of our horrible experience of hiring an unprofessional company. Please give her and Scott our thanks if the owner sees this. Thank you!

I heard a loud pop come from my garage while standing outside the door and then lo and behold, my 50 year old, wooden garage door wouldn't open. After fishing around inside I saw that one of the big torsion springs had broken. I looked for repair options online and it seemed that every local number I called routed back to the same call center people who wouldn't offer an estimate.
After reading these services' reviews I could tell that there was serious risk of these folks baiting me for an upsell opportunity where they'd want to replace the rollers, drums, cables. of course all adding up to unnecessary fees. One of these even posted local address in north Ballard that doesn't even exist. So I called Anderson Door Company and left a message on Saturday and Dave called me Monday right as they opened.
He gave me a guaranteed quote to replace both springs; much less than the rough "averages" than the call center-based services offered, and was out to fix my door within 30 minutes. What was also nice was that Dave was able to work around my old Ford truck restore project, which saved me the need to jockey vehicles out of the driveway. Long story short, these local folks provided timely, solid services at a more than competitive rate. I appreciate doing business with them.

One of the springs broke on our double garage door, Monday night before Thanksgiving. Called Anderson Tuesday morning, Gary came out and replaced both springs Tuesday afternoon. Unlike a few repair services I've dealt with over the years, scheduling the repair with their office was trouble free and communication about when they would arrive was informative and accurate. Anderson provided fast, reliable service at a reasonable price, on a short holiday week when it's tough to get everything done. Gary even replaced a few rollers and quieted the door.

We called Anderson s Door for a quote to replace our wood garage doors. Mike came over and provided a quote. He was very flexible with our schedule and provided all the pricing options we asked. Mike did not try to up-sell or did anything funny.he was a straight shooter type of person and very knowledgeable. After getting other quotes.we decided to go with Anderson s Door since they had the best price and very reliable.
We signed the contract and set up the appointment for the installation. The installer (Randy) came on time and did the a professional installation. He was polite and gave us tips on how to install the weather stripping since we are planning to paint the doors. He did a great job. We are extremely satisfy with the doors and the service Anderson s Door provided. I would definitely call them again.

Great first experience with this company. My keyless entry pad for the automatic garage door stopped working. I assumed I'd need a technician to come and replace it. When I called after reading all of the positive reviews on yelp, the gal who helped me on the phone suggested that I might be able to replace it myself.
