I am so impressed with Merit's integrity! Before coming out for a service call, the technician called me to talk about the problem. Through that conversation we realized the problem may be something out his scope and decided it didn't make sense for him to come out until that was investigated. I'm so grateful he prioritized helping me get the problem fixed rather than just collecting a service fee- I will be using Merit for all my appliance repair needs now.

Had a great experience with Merit. The repair technician, LeVert, was very friendly, prompt and efficient. He was able to repair the problem in a single visit, and the cost was very reasonable compared to other service quotes I had gotten. I would highly recommend and I will use them in the future! Our dryer broke on a Friday afternoon. We called a few places - Merit was the only place that actually answered & confirmed that the technician would wear a mask for the appointment. They were able to get to our house on Monday afternoon - about as quickly as possible, given the timing. Levert was prompt, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Our dryer was fixed quickly for a reasonable price. Will definitely call again for future appliance repair! :

I called for service on Saturday, and the repairman showed up promptly on Monday morning. He fixed the problem on the spot and charged a very reasonable amount, compared to what I had been quoted elsewhere. Merit has a diagnostic fee, but applies that to the price of the repair. The repairman was friendly and efficient. Merit is now my go-to repair service. Thank you!

Your receptionist is so incredibly rude. She hung up on me when I tried to ask a follow-up question about potentially scheduling a repair appointment next month when your techs are not booked out, and I thought we were disconnected at first. It turns out, she hung up on me mid-sentence. When I called back, still thinking it was an accident, she started chanting, "we're booked, we're booked, we're booked" and was horrible to speak to.
At least now I won't make the mistake of calling Merit ever again. I doubt you'll be booked for long. Update: And apparently the receptionist lies to avoid the consequences of her rudeness or the owner does. When I called back, she specifically referenced hanging up because the techs were booked for two weeks. I was willing to wait, but not for this mess of a company.

Not on time & Poor customer service. Tech did not even pull the oven out to diagnose and made a guess. They do not have the equipment to pull out an oven unless you want to pay them for 2 guys to get an oven out. Tech said "I can try to pull it out myself but if it damages your floor that is on you". Waste of time, no refund, and was yelled at.

I asked for an estimate for my dryer which was not heating and shutting off mid-cycle. The estimate ($85 for the brief visit) from Merit was that three items needed replacing: the board, the thermostat and either a fuse or a sensor. I got a second opinion from another repair person, who simply replaced the sensor, which fixed the issue for $120 versus more than $400 that it would have cost with Merit.
I don't know why Merit estimated so many replacements, but just remember to always get a second opinion, even if you've already invested money in the estimate. I should add that the repair company that fixed my dryer did not ask for a fee to come out.

I highly recommend Merit Appliance Repair! They scheduled me with two business days. The Technican Levert even called prior to our appointment and was on time! Levert was very professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what was going on. He was able to quickly find the needed part and repair the refrigerator the sane day! Very impressive!

My oven has been slowly dying over the past couple of months, and decided to stop heating up last week. They were able to get me on the schedule earlier than other places I called and replaced the faulty part really quickly. I'd definitely use their services again. Service: Repair cooker / hob / oven

I own a small business where every dollar counts right now. We had them come out to look at our washer, and when I called to pay the bill they only charged the service fee. He said it was because he just had to adjust some sensor or something and it didn't take very long, so he wasn't going to charge us for anything more than the service fee that we would have had to pay regardless of the outcome. Ok, I don't know ANYTHING about washers, and had he said it was 700 dollars I would have had to pay it, and would have believed him. Instead, he chose to not only be honest, but generous with the way he charged us.
The gentleman I spoke with was also very kind and did a great job. He was on time (and even came back a second time because WE messed up the schedule the first time he came by). Highly recommend this company. I wish every service company was like this one
