Minneapolis Appliance Repair

Talked to Larry on the phone about an issue we've been having with the fridge cooling and he was extremely clear, understanding and helpful. I really appreciated his expertise.

We are a local real estate company and asked Larry to help us with the repair of a Maytag washing machine. We specifically chose him due to his ability to work on the weekends and accommodate the time for the tenant. The experience with Larry was very unprofessional. It worked out well until the scheduled appointment. Larry entered the property of my tenant, refused to work in an apartment with a cat litter box (despite never mentioning this in advance - if that is a deal-breaker, why would you not mention this in advance) and even refused to work when the litter-box was moved away.

He left mentioning that he is not willing to engage in this job, refused to answer the phone afterwards or find any other form of reasonable solution. Way too emotional for a professional service provider, unreliable and unfriendly towards tenants. My advice - stay away from him.

Larry answered the call and scheduled me immediately for the next morning. He texted before he came. Was good about explaining what was wrong and the repair. He was up front about pricing. He fixed it quickly and was pleasant to work with. Service: Refrigerator repair

I called to get a quote and he asked for my zip code - 55406. He said he doesn't want to get involved with that. I asked why. He said I don't want to be a part of that. Seems like he red lined this area likely because of a bias against non-predominantly white/non-suburban neighborhood. Bad for business, bad for Minneapolis. I had to give him a star to get this posted but if there was a way to post it with negative stars I would.

Larry came in went downstairs and came up and said you have a cat box in the basement. I ant work with that. Mind you the basement is totally empty and clean. He was rude and too be honest too old too be doing this work. He could barely make it down the stairs. This Larry guy is so weird. I called my husband to come home, I didn't want to be left in the house alone with him. Terrible service. 40 years of service, he must have been working on his own appliances.

Called Larry about water dispenser not working, and the parts I have replaced. Larry told me I didn't need him, told me what the problem was and answered all my questions. The dispenser works again! Thanks Larry. Service: Refrigerator repair

Larry is a gem. He was friendly, incredibly informative, and went above and beyond what I called him for. I was also lucky enough to have him available 10 minutes from when I called. When he left, I understood my refrigerator/freezer better and felt I got some tips from a true expert. I will be keeping this company in my contacts as long as Larry's working there.

I'd highly recommend Larry. He is responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. He came over the day I called about my issue, easily diagnosed the problem and got it fixed quickly. I had a second issue (unrelated) and Larry offered to come over and check it out on his own time. He is a great professional and if I ever am in need of another appliance repair I will definitely be reaching out to Larry again!

Fixed refrigerator in one trip and was less than original price quoted. Very happy with service!

We called Larry to see if we could repair our Frigidaire, and he was extremely responsive, did due diligence and gave us upfront quotes, and when it was pronounced DOA, he even gave very knowledgeable recommendations for a replacement!

I called the in regards to a washing machine that leaked oil on to my clothes. I said that I googled it and thought maybe it was a seal that could be loose. He said google is 'no good' and that he cannot fix it because he did now know where it was coming from. That is kinda why I called the repair man. I'd look elsewhere for someone who wants to work.

Critical: Professionalism I had a refrigerator go out. Larry and I talked about it. He asked me to send him more info so he could troubleshoot it, which I promptly did. And then he fell off the face of the Earth, not returning calls/texts/voicemails. He sounds like a smart guy, but wow, way to leave me high and dry after saying you'd help me.

I called Larry, from Minneapolis Appliance Repair Service, because my oven had stopped working. All of the stove top burners were working but the oven itself would no longer heat up. Even though it was holiday season Larry insisted that he come out right away and take a look at it. Upon looking at the oven, Larry was immediately able to give me a diagnosis of what needed to be repaired along with a firm price on the whole job. In just 30 minutes after first inspecting the oven Larry had it up and running again! I will definitely be calling Larry for all of my future appliance repair needs.
