Norfolk Air Heating & Cooling

Recently got stationed in Norfolk and bought a house. Didn't have any issues with my HVAC or AC etc but wanted to do a check up on the system. Alex was my tech and he was awesome. Being in the Navy I like to understand how stuff work and he explained everything to me. Luckily my system was taken care of, filters changed etc. It's nice to have a company that is reliable and can give you peace of mind you won't be left hot in the summer or cold in the winter. 100 percent recommend them. But morale of the story is clean your house, change your filters and you shouldn't have an issue. : hope everyone has a great weekend.

Fantastic company. Tyler Gilbert is the true to word, definition, for professionalism. He is extremely knowledgeable, creditable and precise about getting whatever concerns or question you have, resolved. The team at Norfolk Air are all phenomenal experts at their craft as well as being outstandingly reliable. They get the job done right the first time and if there happens to be just the slightest issue, its corrected ASAP. Highly recommend Norfolk Air over any other HVAC, plumbing or electrical company out there.

They replaced a wax seal on the first floor toilet a couple of months ago. It never made a proper seal and was leaking under the toilet. The toilet was also not fully secured again and wobbled. I bought shims and another wax ring thinking my floor wasn't right. Turns out they just didn't install it correctly. Put a new wax ring on and secured the toilet myself and now it's fine, no wobble or leak.

The picture is of the wax ring they had installed, you can see it never made contact with the base of the toilet. Very simple repair we made the mistake of paying for. they were here for other work as well so just let them include it in the bill, now I'm worried about the rest of the work as well. Do not recommend this company at all. They also do not deduct the price of the estimate from the bill like other places do.

Both Times we had issues with our sewage and both times my wife and I had a great customer service experience. Thanks to the Hard work of Devin, John and Jake tonight for helping us out and explain why our mainline keeps clogging. They definitely went above and beyond. We will definitely be going through this Company to replace our Mainline. You guys are fantastic.

I had an emergency situation with an old water heater that died and was leaking. I tired to drain it without success to minimize the water damage. Norfolk Air, Heating, Cooling was the only company that responded right away, listened to my story, and tried to help me as quickly as possible. Erin worked hard to answer my questions and coordinate the logistics of having my water heater I purchased at Home Depot picked up.

She was great. Within a couple of hours, I had a technician arrive. Devin did a great job. He and there tech were polite, and they were professional. I was very satisfied with their service. They are a more expensive company to use, so I am glad their service matched.

I absolutely love Norfolk Air Heating, Cooling & Plumbing. They are always reliable, their technicians are wonderful- always very courteous, thorough and go the extra mile when necessary. The office staff is always friendly and helpful. Additionally, (something I think is great) they will text you a photo of the technician and an eta when the technician is on their way. Grateful for their services!

Service was professional, friendly, and super quick. A technician was at my house within two hours for a routine request. They were respectful of keeping my house clean, worked to get me the best deal, and were great at explaining the problem and options to fix it. overall, I was very impressed with Norfolk Air. Starting the moment I set the service appointment, the office was extremely professional and communicative. I received text reminders and confirmations right up until my technicians were on their way to my house! They even send a photo of the actual technician and a link to track where they are on the route to my home. I appreciate this extra security feature!

Both technicians, John and Darion, were once again, very professional and friendly. They went above and beyond in answering all of my numerous questions and explaining the new equipment to me. Would definitely call Norfolk Air again! Thank you!

Amazing work and super reliable. John and his co-workers Did an amazing job getting my heat turned back on which started at 9pm and didn't end until 2am. John worked extremely hard and efficiently to ensure my heat would turn back on before officially leaving. I highly recommend the use of Norfolk air to anyone who needs any task done regarding any of their services. 5/5 stars.

We returned from our winter holiday to find out that our heater was not functioning. My wife called Norfolk Air Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical. The same day a technician arrived and diagnosed the issue at hand, a faulty blower motor. We were charged $175 for the visit. People have to make a fair living wage and I believe that the diagnosis and service fee was fair market value.

Shortly after, we were provided 3 price quotes. The lowest quote for the motor (no service plan, etc.) came out to $1,354.04++. With the gold package they wanted close to 2k! This afternoon I went down to Cashwell's and purchased the same motor for $130 and installed it in less than a half hour. That is a 941% mark up on parts alone . Absolute highway robbery. We will never call this scam of a company again. Take your money elsewhere!

We had a technician come out to check our duct work. I didn't get his name because he was here when I pulled up from work but he had red hair and a red beard. Great guy with a lot of knowledge. He took his time checking around the house and under the house and explained in detail everything we needed to know to get the problem fixed.

Ac died, called these guys and in 3 hours he was here and was gone in an hour with our ac blowing cool. Couldn't ask for better service.

I followed the reviews and honestly could not have been more disappointed! Spent $600 & problem at my rental property was still not fixed. Norfolk air then wanted to go back and do another diagnostic for $260 to maybe fix the problem.

I would highly recommend Norfolk Air Heating Cooling and Plumbing. My furnace was over 20 years old and I did not know anything about furnaces when it started leaking carbon monoxide. Fortunatly, a rep from Norfolk Air heating and cooling was able to come over, examine the problem, educate me on the issue and offer me different repair/replacement options *thank you Taylor*.

Needed new Heating & Air System. Norfolk Air gave best price per SEER, and American Standard had good reviews. The technicians installed the heat first since the weather was cold AND they supplied two space heaters to use while the heat was off.

I only had an estimate done with this company, but I was impressed enough that I wanted to leave feedback! Taylor was knowledgeable and willing to answer any technical questions I had, whether by text or phone, even a week after the estimate.

I must say that I have been highly impressed by the very professional, knowledgeable and great quality that this place has to offer. They came out and did a free cleaning on my system after installing it six months ago.

We were having problems with our air conditioner not working. Called Norfolk Air this morning (Sunday) they were at our home in no time. A very nice and pleasant technician came and fixed the problem.
