The best pool company ever. The whole staff from SAM and Mike to Migual, Scott and the rest of the installation crew. August and Eric for the set up and weekly maintenance. You can't ask for a better and more knowledgeable crew. The work is first class. The crew are so helpful and polite and dedication to their customers. They all work as if they were working on their own home.

They keep us updated and informed of ever step of the process. This was a 30 year dream come true. We couldn't be more happier and pleased. In today's environment companies promise you the moon and the stars only to disappoint and take your money. Performance Pools not only delivered what promised but went above. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a pool installed. Thank you to the entire Performance Family. No one is better our family and friends love spending every minute in our dream oasis.

We have used them for pool service for the last three years. Also they have a special ongoing right now where if you open for three years you get the fourth year for free. Overall it has not been a favorable experience. But the most recent one was a good experience compared to the others because the lead technician that came out was somebody that was here before.

We thought he did a good job so we requested him again and based on the consistency of this technicians performance it was a positive one. He also noted some items that we were unsure of were still covered by our pool warranty and we were able to address those with warranty coverage.

SAM and his team do an amazing job. Not only are they courteous and hardworking but they really know the business inside and out. There is nothing they cannot handle. I wouldnot trust a new pool construction maintenance or repair to anyone else. They are the best and I couldnot be happier with their work and professionalism.

Have been a customer since I moved here to Lincoln about 4 years ago. From their repair and installation services to opening and closings I have found them to be honest very knowledgeable reliable and fair. They get the job done and get it done right they never try to sell me stuff I donot need and their prices are fair. They have made owning a pool pretty much a carefree experience for me.

I have the knowledge to care for my pool on my own and I usually do. But sometimes there are real technical situations where you need someone to come in a do test on pipes and figure out why a filter issue is occurring. Performance has taken good care of me for quite a few years now. So I will keep my loyalties with them! SAM is a great technician and all the other staff have helped me greatly. These guys know their stuff!

I have had a Performance pool for 5 years now and it is wonderful. I have used their installation opening and closing services. They were very responsive when you call them and they can handle what you need. They were very knowledgeable and receptive to suggestions. They also provided good service in a timely fashion and I have never had to ask them to come back to fix anything.

So they were good to work with and they were respectful during our interactions. The performance pool was able to provide for the needs necessary to keep the equipment in place and working well. The quality is good and I would recommend Performance pool services to anybody.

Top rate Pool Company! I have owned my pool for 10 years now and after I switched to them years ago for weekly maintenance, my pool immediately became my favorite part of the house. The water always sparkles. They care for the chemicals, vacuuming, etc. and I am left to enjoy my pool on the weekends! Very happy. thanks!

I have had major work done on my in-ground pool by Performance pools in the last 10 years and all the work done was extremely well done. All the people are very friendly and knowledgeable about what they do. I will continue to use them for any pool work I need a d have recommended them to friends and family. Some of the work I had done over the years was 1 Redo pool in 2013 which included- replace the liner, all pool lines, patch all recess in bottom concrete, and put in a concrete deck around a pool. They have done all maintenance work since then - install mesh cover, open and close pool

We signed up with Performance pools for construction on our in ground pool, and couldn't be happier with the results. From our first meeting with SAM, we were fully informed of the process and ALL costs that would be incurred; no hidden fees or things you're paying for suddenly without expecting. The performance team is professional and responsive. They'll collaborate with you on how to get your dream backyard and are honest about expectations. Would recommend!

I highly recommend Performance Pool & Spa Services for any pool renovation/new liner as well as their weekly service. They recently replaced my liner, lines, and added returns, replaced my skimmers and added a light. We couldn't have been happier with how the project went. SAM (the owner) was extremely engaged throughout the entire process. SAM and his team answered all of my questions and concerns (and I had a lot).

I was also impressed by the attention to detail throughout the process as well as the expertise that the entire team brought to the project. We are extremely grateful and thankful for the amazing work that Performance did. We now have a beautiful pool to create amazing memories with our family and friends for years to come!

Performance pool did a great job servicing my pool! We just bought the house and have never had a pool before. The pool company that we hired to open the pool wasn't very responsive or helpful when some issues arose and just sent me YouTube videos. Given that either my husband or I have ever had a pool, this really didn't help. We saw Performance pool truck on the road and decided to call them.

They came out timely and the representatives were so helpful. I asked if I could watch what they did since we had no clue what we were doing and they showed me each step, explained where everything was and how to use the chemicals. They advised of some work we would need in the future and be aware that the expense was going to be coming up. I really appreciated the time they took with me and look forward to using their services in the future.-

Performance pool and the team led by SAM are awesome! We had them install all new equipment and convert our pool to salt. SAM was great at explaining all the options and was not pushy at all. They do what they say, have been responsive to issues that arose and the weekly service is spot on. My pool looks great, they take care of everything, and after a miserable experience with another company last year; they have re-affirmed for me what long-standing companies with a local presence stand for and do. You can go cheaper with other companies, but SAM and his team are worth every penny you pay them

I have used various pool services over the past 20 years for two different homes and I am glad I found Performance pool. They are always very professional and they get the job done right. My questions are always answered in a timely manner and I trust them. I had to replace my pool liner last year and I know that we are supposed to get at least three estimates when doing a big job but I did not even bother because I felt confident that Performance would do a great job - and they did! Would highly recommend Performance

I'm thankful to have found Performance Pool Service after Last winter's Arctic snowstorm that destroyed my pool cover. A top-notch company all the around from their customer service ( Ruby, ), technician (Greg), and ultimately the owner SAM, who was always available if needed. Greg installed new tracks and cover no issues and was helpful in explaining the operation of my new variable speed pump. I was also impressed with his attention to detail. It was a pleasant experience and I won't hesitate to call Performance again.

Along with being really nice people, they do great work at a reasonable price. They fit you into their schedule if you have an emergency repair, and always show up when they say they will. They will even give you advice if you want to attempt to fix something yourself. I've been using them for 6 years, and will continue to be a loyal customer of this great pool company.

Showed up for less than 10 minutes, charged $95 to misdiagnose the issue and haven't been back. Dodging our calls now. Avoid this company

I hate leaving negative reviews but felt that it was necessary because I chose this business because of all of the positive reviews. - They did not show up in the scheduled time for the pool opening. The owner did appologize when I called them but then showed up over 2 hours after they were coming the second time and had the expectation that I should be available to discuss the opening.

I now regret letting them work on my pool when I could not be there. Which he later claimed was my fault but he showed up 7 1/2 hours later than he committed to. - When I checked the pool the next day, there was a screw driver in the pool. They ripped off the cover for our light switch that controls our cover. When I asked him about this he blamed it on our fence.

The fence has been there for 10 years and the cover was never ripped off prior to that. The least he could've done was communicate that he broke it. - I text him to confirm he was coming out to complete the opening and he called me to tell me that it was done. The pool was not clean. Heater was not running. and covers were not on the jets. When I told him that in the past pool openings from other people these things would be done he responded by saying "well you should have went with them then".

He later said he would come out. That was the last thing I wanted given the way Sam handled it up to that point - After his unprofessionalism with time and lack of responsibility for tearing off our light switch cover, there was no way I wanted them working on our pool. Please proceed with caution if you choose them.

The quality of work submitted as "professional and completed" for a power washing job was ridiculous. Power wash lines were still visible and several areas were not even done when they left and deemed it "completed". For the price we paid, we expected it to at least be completed. I was able to get them back out to finish, but Sam was very defensive, rude, and unprofessional.

It was like talking to a wall despite the respect and professionalism we showed him. He said that the problem was in the water, not the pool surface, but water was perfectly clear and, again, you could see where they just stopped caring with the power washer (see photos). We used Performance (despite their price gouging) because my maintenance manager has worked with them in the past with good results, but next time will choose literally anyone else.

After leaving this review Sam contacted my wife with the text below. Apparently he has no desire to improve the situation and just wants to retaliate. Be wared! From Sam: "I have the right to sue and I will upon the review. I have no contract between you or me that obligate me to come do the work. You will hear from my attorney I promise. Your freedom of speech had crossed the lines. "

If I could give a 0 star I would. Sam came out and told us what we needed. He seemed to know his stuff. He gave us a list of supplies to get and said he would come back next week to do the job. We immediately ordered all of the supplies as he suggested and then we never heard from him again. Won't return calls, texts,... What a flake! Don't waste your time or money.

Technician was prompt, professional & courteous. Showed respect for the home, no mess to clean up, work done quickly, with excellent attitude.

Sam did a great job installing our new pool heater. As a first time pool owner I really value his experience. He also opened our pool. He said I can text him anytime with questions. That's a nice offer because I will have a bunch of questions.

My husband and I hired Sam in June 2015, shortly after we bought our first home that has an in ground swimming pool. After calling ALL the swimming pool companies in Lincoln, Sam was the only one who answered his phone.

We have had Sam out multiple times over the last several years due to problems with our old hot tub. Sam has always done a fantastic job figuring out what is wrong and getting our tub working. We have tried other local companies and they always try to upsell you, are much higher priced, and frequently just provide poor service.

SAM was my first contact with Performance pool and he is a great asset to the company. A very impressive young man who was very thorough and very professional. Everything went as he presented it to me in the contract. I am very satisfied with the job they did and certainly am glad I chose them. The team works well together and they really know what they are doing.

I have a home warranty that covers some of the repairs to my pool's equipment. I hired Sam from performance pool and spa for the first time a year ago when I was looking for a pool technician to do some repairs (the home warranty did not have pool technicians under contract in the Lincoln area, so they authorized me to find one my self).

We called Performance Pool and Spa after having trouble trying to find a reasonable pool company to help install our pool liner. We live in Omaha and Sam had no problem commuting to NW Omaha to help us.

We've been using Performance Pool and Spa for a little over 2 years. Every experience is always pleasant, they're always very professional, timely, and courteous to our needs. Whenever we need their help they're always available and willing to assist. We would recommend Sam and Performance Pool and Spa to everyone looking to get a new pool or needing repairs.

I hired performance pool to replace my in-ground pool liner. Their bid was lower than the competition. The liner took 3 weeks to come in which is normal since it's custom made, and another week to fit in the appointment to remove the old liner and install the new one. Liner removal and installation took around 2 hours.

Year after year I have had major problems with my pool and finally, I now have a pool company who has taken the time to listen to me and to figure out what the problems are-and fix them! Sam and Neno are a pleasure to work with and I trust them completely to take care of all my pool needs. Plus, they are just nice guys!
