There is something to be said about a company that shows up when they say they are going to show up. Is done when they say they are going to be done, and stands by the work that they do. I should have known a that the person we had arranged to complete the hardwood flooring installation job had forgotten to order the correct wood for our project. I had called the day prior to wood delivery and he was unsure that he was to have wood delivered. But, the wood for our project was delivered, just 1 day late. We had requested "Select" oak hardwood grade and did not realize until the second day of the project that we did not receive that wood grade.

Our estimate was quoted for "Select" Grade. When my husband asked of the wood color variations, the person we had dealt with replied, "Wood is wood, it comes from trees." We then checked the wood delivery receipt which indicated we received "Common" grade. The person we had been dealing with was not honest with us and communicate this fact. The last day of the project I asked about this and his reply was that he could not get "Select" so he ordered "Common".

We paid for "Select" Grade and we were not offered a discount or to reschedule until the wood we wanted was available. I replied that Common is less expensive, his reply "Oh yes, maybe $.50." This is not true, I called the wood supplier who quoted Select grade at $3.64 and Common at $2.09. The person we dealt with agreed to discount, "If I needed to, " of $.50 per square foot.

We have "Select" Grade wood in other parts of our home and it does not compare with the new floor, the "Common" grade has more color variations and knots in the wood. We are disappointed in the lack of honesty and integrity.

The floors look great, they were in bad shape and they really brought them back to life, for the most part. Crew was polite and showed up on time. The attention to detail was poor, as was communication, Here's why: No masking tape used, so finish got on my 1930's wood trim that is irreplaceable. We're talking streaks up to 3-4 high. The trim now has to be re-finished.

Finish was also spilled on my stairs. Filler was used before consulting me on what should be done with damaged planks (damage found after sanding), and was applied partially applied. Literally the same plank had filler in one section but not the other. Several visible particulates in final finish, which could be seen from several feet away. No warning given regarding the overpowering odor that would accompany this process.

I contacted the company after they completed the work and some of these items were addressed, but not all. Later on, I even found a small part of the floor where no finish was even applied! Communicating with David from Woodfloor masters also could have been better. He said he would come take a look at these issues himself after I emailed him pictures, but he didn't show up.

The same crew who did the work showed up. Most of these issues could have been easily avoided with some attention to detail, and this would have been a 5 star review. The floors do look really good, but the trim damage, not keeping their word, and sloppy fill work really pull the rating down. I don't feel the overall service provided was worth the 5$ a SQFT they charged. If you use these guys, you had better watch them to make sure they don't screw your floor up.

I had the best experience I can imagine with David, Sean, and Dave. They installed and finished new oak flooring in my house in Vancouver. The job went incredibly smoothly, the crew was professional and skilled, and the finished product was spectacular and, honestly, flawless. From start to finish this took a week. I give my highest recommendation to this company.

It was a new wood that Woodfloor Masters had never ordered for us before. It came in, they did a great job, and it turned out great! They were really impressed with the material, on their end. On our end, it turned out to be more than we expected! We found Woodfloor Masters through our contractor.

Arrived on time for bid/estimate. bid was very competitive with two other contractors. Arrived on agreed start date 15 minutes early. Work estimate was 2 - 3 days, finished in two days. Throughout project crew was courteous and considerate of disruption. Good communication during poect; Clean language only overheard throughout entire job. Quality was spectacular.

The guys from Woodfloor Masters were very helpful and knowledgeable. They refinished our main hardwood floors, downstairs in the house. They did a very good job. This was my first time using Woodfloor Masters. The were referred by a neighbor, and were wonderful to work with. They not only did quality work, but they also moved furniture for me because I had a bad back at the time.

I have had WoodFloor Masters to my house on two separate occasions. The first time in November 2015 and then recently in June 2016. When they did my floors in November they were awesome. They worked me in short notice to get my floors done before my baby arrived. They were on time, clean, and very professional. My baby's floors looked amazing! So.

I had them return in June to do the rest of my hardwoods. My biggest issue was that they were MESSY! My husband made it extremely easy on them and removed ALL THE TRIM! So they didn't have to worry about that factor but upon arriving home there was stain all over my walls! We made sure to paint everything before they arrived and now that was wasted time!

We now have to re-paint 4 walls. I would recommend Hardwood Floor Inc but be prepared to do some clean up work. My floors look amazing and the owner David is amazing to work with. He is extremely friendly and easy going and does his best to make his customers happy.

We had a complicated job that required both new flooring and refinishing of existing flooring. David helped us develop a strategy that enabled us to save the majority of our existing flooring while cutting in new flooring that was indistinguishable from the old flooring.

The people at Woodfloor Masters were right on time. The first day they needed to come out and make measurements, however, they were late because their previous job went overtime. They called us right away and let us know that. We have an old, old floor, about 45 years old, which has been covered with carpet for about 35 years.

Woodfloor Masters service is at the top of the list. David was very, very personable and accommodating. I have recommended him many times, as many people have called, and several have even come by to see the work. My son had him do work after, and my neighbor had him do work after too. For my job, David came by and checked all the wood.

We have asked David several times to come back and look at his work. The floor is cupping and we would like something done to fix it.

Service was done on time and professionally. We went out town for 10 days and the work was done during our absence. David gave us updates and when we got home it had the new home smell of a 24 year old house.

They got the floor installed, sanded and sealed in three days, then we went to the beach for the weekend after they sealed it. When we got back, the floor was beautiful! My wife has said several times how much she loves it.

David at Woodfloor Masters did an awesome job on our Brazilian Cherry Hardwood Floors! We gave him the keys to the house, left for the weekend, and came back to beautiful floors and it was really nice and clean which was a nice surprise.
