HVAC Philly

We worked with Moe servicing our central air. We had been experiencing a burning smell upon turning on our unit, so was without ac for a few, very hot days. Prior to Moe coming to our home, we had another company come out to diagnose the issue and quoted us a costly fix! We figured we shop around before agreeing to their services. Moe was extremely attentive from our first call.

Moe was incredibly helpful during our first call, coming out extremely quickly to provide a quote. When we were ready to install, he honored the quote (even several weeks later) and had a team to our house within 3 days. We scheduled installation, Tom, Berti and Adel were on time, efficient and friendly with installation, , and went the extra mile to make sure everything was clean and make sure that the products were registered so we got the full 10 year warranty. A great experience, I'll definitely call again for any service!

Called them twice, both times when our AC went down, on scorching days. Responded immediately, the last time on Memorial Day! They were here within two hours, and had our system up and running. And they didn't hand me a ridiculous bill. Fixed the problem, and followed up, to be sure everything was ok. Can't say enough good things about this company and our experience with them. I would give them six stars, if I could. Won't call anyone else. They have our business, for sure.

The technician who came to my home was excellent - thanks Rob! But after determining I wanted to replace it, Moe never called me back with a quote. I find that completely unprofessional, especially since you charged me $119 to come look at it, the least they could have done was given me a quote. I went with another local company who was superb! And charged a cheaper fee to come look at my hvac unit. Unfortunately, it wasn't the technicians fault, it was his boss. I'm giving 2 stars only bc I liked the technician. Otherwise it would be negative stars.

The team from company HVAC Philly showed up ahead of schedule, they were very professional and fixed my furnace within the time-frame when the weather was 14 degrees and I had a 9 month old in the house. They quote me an extremely reasonable price and the work was done within two days of getting the estimate. Highly recommend that you use this company.

Where do i begin! These guys went above and beyond to get my home heating system up and running. They installed a brand new system and removed my old one in a matter of three hours! Rob Devitt and Robert Doku and Moe came and made me feel super comfortable having them in my home. They were respectful, professional, knowledgeable, and hilarious! They made me laugh so much!

I was most surprised by the cleanliness and neat job that they did! After the job was done they showed me how everything works and what to do in case of emergencies. They came out in a timely fashion after my old system busted so i was not without heat for a long time. I was also able to keep my dog out while they got the job done and I received NO complaints!

They were actually very fond of my boy! 10/10 would highly recommend this company to anyone. Friendly and excellent service! These are my new HVAC guys! Wouldnt call anyone else!

HVAC Philly did a fabulous job repairing our HVAC - from start to finish they were extremely professional, helped in an emergency situation and properly explained to me what was wrong and how it needed to be fixed. They were able to come back quickly with a new part and properly fix our system. I would recommend HVAC Philly anytime, I was very impressed by their service.

Given the positive reviews I was really optimistic about HVAC Philly. Unfortunately, after two visits I was told that the compressor on my unit was failing and I'd need a whole new outdoor unit to the tune of around 3k. I decided to get a second opinion and Northern Liberties Heating and Air Conditioning was able to identify the problem and repair it for about 1/5 of the quote from HVAC Philly.

I wanted to give it a good amount of time to make sure the repair actually fixed the problem and going on two months our AC is still working better than ever. I like to think that HVAC Philly truly just missed the issue (which wouldn't be a ringing endorsement but would beat dishonesty) but it seems kind of unlikely. I'm adding the second star here because they came out very promptly both times and at least one of the techs was very friendly. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day but I'd definitely get a second opinion before doing any work with HVAC Philly.

I have had a very disappointing experience with hvacphilly.com. I had a ductless unit installed a few years ago and since day 1 it has not worked properly. Shortly after it was installed it stopped generating cold air. Each summer after I would have to call them back to service the equipment. I was told by another professional that the line was leaking coolant (which was evident by the greasy like substance on the copper).

Instead of addressing the root cause their tech was coming out each year to just refill the coolant. I'm sure the EPA would not be happy about coolant flowing into our local water system. Moe, if you want to get this resolved you know where to find me.

I had a great experience with HVAC Philly! They just installed a split ductless system for my house. I especially appreciated how communicative they were - they kept me informed of the progress of their work and answered all of my questions about the system and the installation process. I was also thrilled with their attention to detail with the aesthetics of the system.

Everything was finished in really nice detail and they checked in with me at several points before and during the process to make sure everything was installed in the places that I preferred, as well as in a clean way that was to my liking. I couldn't be happier with their work and with my new heating system!

I hire HVAC Philly for investment properties as well as my personal home. They offer sound recommendations and conduct business in an ethical and Eddie net fashion. Companies like this are far and few between. Recently, they installed a system in a project I was managing and when PGW added a new requirement, I was worried this would naturally result in a delay, but no...they ordered the part and completed the installation in the evening! I highly recommend them for service and installation.

Awesome service. Made a call at 7:30 AM, they were on location by 11:00 and had completed repairs by noon. UPDATE: Had Adel, Dan and the team do a total AC replacement: compressor, line set, a-coil. Again, great service, amazingly thorough, excellent work. Would recommend to everyone (and have). Polite and knowledgeable technicians. Will definitely be using them in the future.

It's scary to pick a repair company out of the blue, so I want to leave this review to let you know that you are in good hands with HVAC Philly. We had a central air unit that wasn't cooling the home - I called and made an appointment for the next day. Rob was on time, quick to diagnose and fix, and explained everything really well. I called a friend of mine who does HVAC to get a ballpark price and he couldn't believe how reasonable the HVAC Philly price was. Extremely satisfied, don't hesitate to use them.

It was obvious that the HVAC Philly owner and employees are knowledgeable and experienced. They explained our needs and made helpful suggestions on the best system for our home. They are friendly and patiently answered all our questions. They were reliable and worked efficiently to install our system quickly. Our system has been working perfectly without any problems. We will definitely recommend HVAC Philly.

What an absolute joke. I had called Philly HVAC to service my air conditioning unit which was working fine up until 2 days ago. Tom came out and did all kinds of things to the system but actually fix it. He proceeded to tell me the entire system needed to be replaced (and even was so kind as to quote me $7k and 2 days work for the job). After getting a second opinion, the tech replaced the compressor and my a/c was back up and running in an hour. Find another company who actually knows what they're talking about.

First off, I had 3 quotes done for a new heat pump. The first came in at 15k, the second at 12k, and HVAC Philly made it happen for $8500. Tom explained everything very clearly and made things quite simple as a homeowner. The work was done in a timely manner and the unit is working great. I highly recommend these guys.

Moe at HVAC came and installed a new heater and thermostat. He was fair, reasonably priced and finished the work ahead of schedule. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a honest, experienced HVAC expert. I most certainly will use him again when needed. Thank you HVAC Philly!

When i called to see if he was still coming, I was told that the part that I think is having problems is hard to fix and tends to break again, which because my unit was no longer under warranty would be too expensive to fix.

The tech didn't even come out to diagnose/confirm what I think is wrong. If I wanted anything fixed, I'd have to pay for the part first and the tech hasn't even seen my unit. He then asked me what I wanted to do, to which I responded that I need heat so obviously need it fixed. He was disappointed and told me that while he hates to turn away business, would prefer not to do it, unless I really needed it... My business is going elsewhere, and I recommend that yours does too.
