Not a great experience to date. Spotty communication and follow through. I opened a ticket on the web site and never did get a response. Thermostats are not connected to the web site, I informed our account manager, and there has been no follow up in weeks. At times, great follow up, and then it just seems to disappear.

Josh S was able to get the system up and running quickly and made sure I understood what the problem was so I could easily fix it if something happens to the network connection again. He also very patient waiting for me to get to the appointment since I ran out of gas just as I was getting home. He went above and beyond by helping me get that situation taken care of as well. Josh fixed my camera doorbell and explained why it didn't work properly for over a year. The problem could of been fixed a long time ago, but nobody knew the problem until Josh came out and explained why it hadn't worked properly all along. I would highly recommend him to anyone! Josh is the man, seriously! He came out to reset my security system after the previous occupant moved out. Right off the bat we didn't have the master code to the system and the previous occupant couldn't remember what it was. Where normally this would make resetting impossible, Josh spent more than extra time working every possible solution, and when that didn't work he miraculously guessed the pin code and was able to return the system to default and get me set up.
There were also problems with the motion detectors on the doors and he was able to Work those out as well. He showed me how to set everything up, answered all my questions, and gave me detailed advice on the best security monitoring options available. He was super friendly with my daughter and pets and I would 100% recommend him!

AVS installed a new security system in my home. Jeff Martin helped me choose just the services I needed. Steve Williams did the installation of my system. He was very professional and helpful setting up my cellphone app and helped familiarize me with the system and the website. He made sure I was comfortable with everything before he left my home. AVS is a great company, very easy to work with and very helpful. I would recommend them highly.

Moved to the Pensacola area for work. I travel a lot now so I'm not really home as much. My boyfriend found Avs systems and wanted to make sure I was safe and my place was protected. The tech they sent out was so nice to both my bf and I. He was Funny, professional and he made sure that I understood the features and they worked on my phone. I think his name was Michael--I can't remember this was a month ago, but I remembered to write this once I got my handwritten thank you note from their team. I love the app and it helps because I love around so much sometimes I forget and it gives me peace of mind to look on my phone and know my system is on. Thanks again guys!

BEWARE this company will sign you up for a five-year contract as they rush you through the paperwork to initially set up services and you will be left with a contract for utterly useless sevices. I found out after I sold my house and tried to turn the service off. I'm stuck paying for an alarm system on a house I don't own any more for another 3 YEARS!
Furthermore the staff in the office and the owner are completely useless. The owner will pretend that he knows people in your neighborhood and that he provides services for them just to get you to sign the contract. You're better off getting a cat to guard your house and a fake alarm sign from Lowe's.
