JC's Landscaping

We tried calling this company first on June 9th and they didn't answer. I then sent an email detailing the issues I have with burr weeds in my backyard and asking for guidance. I got a quick response with pricing for services and a request for pictures of problem areas. I sent them. After a couple more email exchanges, they ask us for a credit card to put on file in order to schedule service.

I didn't want to give my credit card information via email, so I called and left a message saying that we would provide credit card info over the phone. We get a call back and give them the credit card info and they said they will get back to us to make an appointment within the next two weeks. Fast forward to June 17th. I get a short email stating that we would receive service today, June 20th.

I figured someone would be in contact with us to establish a time window for service because the gate to the back yard would have to be open. Unfortunately, that's not what happened. Instead, at around 7:40 AM today, my security system sends me a notification that someone was in my front yard. I check the recorded video and someone is rolling some equipment around in my yard.

The person had not even come to the door to announce himself (I was sitting near the front door, so I would have heard it). By the time I get up to check out the situation, the guy is gone and he's left a service summary attached to the front door. According to the summary, he was from TruGreen. At the bottom of the summary, JC's Landscaping's name and contact info was provided.

Keep in mind that my backyard, the original problem area that I contacted them for, was completely untouched. I tried calling and, of course, there was no answer. I sent an email response in the same original email chain from June 9th expressing my frustration. That was an hour ago and I haven't received a response. I'm just hoping I'm not charged for a random service person from a third party showing up unannounced and applying product to an area of the yard I didn't even ask to be serviced.

We recently left a landscaping business because of services being provided and billed without first any discussion of the purpose and need. We explored other firms and JC's Landscaping seemed our best choice. We opted for an annual contract for basic lawn mowing & maintenance with the intent using JC's for other specific landscaping projects. We have been very pleased with the on-site service. It has been thorough and professional. On the few occasions we've made inquiries to administration, responses have been quick and courteous.

I had contacted JC's Landscaping to get an estimate on filling in sod in some bare areas of my lawn and to replace plants and flowers on my front and back yard. I received a call from the sales office within a few days. I was told that someone from the field would be contacting within a day or two. That never happened and it's a week now. I know everyone is busy these days. But no communication or follow up. Not a good sign from the begining. As a result I decided not to risk it and taking my business elsewhere.

JC Landscaping has always been very responsive. When we have needed service they have been able to get a crew out when we need it. We have been a client for over 10 years and will continue to be.

Great, reliable service every week. It takes me 1/2 day to do my yard and cleanup. It takes them 20 min and my wife says it looks better : The price is right and I'm not tired in Saturdays anymore! Service:Lawn mowing & maintenance

Had my front yard flower bed cleaned up by JC's this summer. Not only were they able to make it out to my home sooner than originally estimated, they did a great job, bagged up the yard waste appropriately and left it at the curb. I appreciated the great service, ease scheduling and communicating via email to get the ad hoc flower bed work done, and they do a solid job on my regular mowing service. Thank you!

I have used JC's Landscaping for over two years now (cutting, mowing, weed & fertilizer treatment). Their service has been great! Despite a few hiccups throughout the pandemic, customer service has been polite, professional, and they have always made things right when I contacted them. (I have found that they are most responsive via email.) I would recommend their services.

Excellent services by JC's Landscaping LLC for our landscaping project, retaining walls, and lighting. Clint is very responsive and professional. really appreciate all his support throughout the project and being flexible to improve design for implementation. Schedule-wise, the project is delivered on time and the crew hit every milestone as targeted. Result is amazing! Can't thank enough to Clint and the crew from JC's Landscaping. I signed up for the lawn mowing service and weed control at the beginning of the 2021 summer. Everything was great at the beginning but the quality on their last visits was disappointing. We called and tried canceling the services the following day but they asked us if they could come back to fix it and we agreed. After waiting for a week, we decided to call and e-mail to cancel all services.

Every time I call their phone goes straight to voicemail and sometimes is difficult to talk to someone over the phone. Ok company other than the lack of phone communication and scheduling for fixing low quality work. They tried making things right at the end but it was too late. I hope that this review is of some value.

Mediocre.not what we wanted or expected for the price. (We shopped around and they were not the least expensive but they were the best rated.) Initial discussions about removal and replacement plants went well. But the day of, removal was incomplete (roots and parts of bushes were left). They didn't use the plants we discussed in certain places and several bushes were way too close to our home (they wouldn't have room to grow).

They didn't show us what was done or ask questions.they were here less than 2 hours for our front and backyard. I asked them to come back bc of what was left from removal (things we couldn't easily pull up) and the plants that had been substituted (but our bill wasn't adjusted). They wouldn't call me back but they did email. When they came back a week later and I walked them through what we expected. They left without letting us know and a few things were still not what we discussed. Update: they came back a third time and finished the remaining removals.

Paid a lot of money to have work done in yard. Communication we very lacking, things were installed incorrectly or left out. For example, no weed barrier was put down and now I have a lot of weeds coming up. One of my main issues was drainage and after the work some areas are worse than before anything was done. Had some sod put in and some patches were not healthy and less than a year later have died and are dying.

It was very disappointing overall. Edit: I do not have the wrong business as the owner suggests. I did not use a competitor with the same name. I know because I can click the link in saved emails and get the same website.

The one thing that I really appreciated about JC Landscaping was how quick they were with their responses to all my queries. It was hard to get through to other landscaping companies that serviced my area. My front yard looked terrible because of plants that were dead due to the winter freeze. JC Landscaping provided solutions, had their crew rip out the dead plants, replace them with new ones, lay fresh mulching and trimmed the other plants to provide a clean look which I am happy about. Lastly, the services were very economical - you get a good service for a reasonable price. I'd definitely use their services again.

JC's Landscaping did a tremendous job for us once again. We have used them for several summers for our lawn care. They are reliable and dependable. In addition, their customer service is outstanding.

I have been using JC's Landscaping since early spring and they have been wonderful. They did a leaf and dead grass clean up for me before they started weekly mowing and maintenance which has always been on time and left my yard looking great. I put my house on the market and found I had a lot of sprinklers that needed repair and they were able to help me with that as well.

The work was done and everything is operating perfectly now which made selling my house easier. I would recommend them for any landscaping and yard work needs - they are responsive and professional and have been great to work with!

I have been using JC for almost 10 years. They have been great. Not only have they done landscape work for me they've done a patio and fencing and sprinkler repair and maintenance as well. Whenever I have a problem all I have to do is call them and they take care of it. I have also refer many friends as well who have been satisfied with their service.

JC's Landscaping helped me with the pebble walkway prep. They are very reasonable with how you want the work done. True that it is hard to get them through the phone but they do reply the emails within a couple of hours top. So if you have things planned out and follow up. They did it pretty well.

Their prices are quite fair and the service is outstanding. Their weekly maintenance program keeps our yards looking great, they are always on time, the work is done swiftly and professionally. Canceling services after another "no show" for lawn mowing. Our regular mowing day is Friday. It's Saturday night and still they haven't showed up. This has happened multiple times and we are finally fed up. Left voicemail and email and no response. Go elsewhere. There are too many good companies to deal with this.

We had Clint and his team redo our backyard. He resodded our yard and created raised beds and added drainage! His team did a great job and they were very reasonably priced. Clint was easy to communicate with and was able to deliver on all of my requests! They did a fantastic job!
