During the bidding process, New Line Construction was a step above the rest, presenting detailed descriptions of work to be performed, a project plan and a fair contract. However, it was during the construction itself where New Line Construction really did shine. All the work was exemplary, and they fulfilled our expectations.

This is the worst construction company EVER! STAY AWAY! I feel they are extremely incompetent and are liars. They have promised me things in my original quote and then when the time came down to it they did not deliver. Their work is HORRIBLE - check out my Yelp review for pictures/video. Within a couple of weeks of signing the contract they fired their construction manager - should have seen that as a red flag.
The project was signed at the end of July and it was not completed until the middle of January and the project space was ONLY 525 square feet. She billed me for my allowances and stated that I went over it, but never provided me with any sales receipts. Who's to say I really went over or how much the supplies were if you never show the customer the receipts.
The cabinets that were purchased have pre-existing drill holes in it which only says to me that they took them from another place and billed me full price for it. The work is poor quality and they never did their job in regards to watching over the workers. They left the stickers on the windows and told me it was my job to remove them (2nd story level and on the outside of the windows).
They stated that I would have copies of sales receipts at the end of my project in a printer spiral binder and it never showed up despite me asking multiple times. This only leads me to believe that they are hiding stuff and over charging me for things - otherwise they should have all the sales receipts. Melissa has stated she was going to do things, but never did.
They manipulated me to believe things were going to be done just go get my business. Don't make the same mistake I have made. Melissa's famous words on every email are, "Have a nice day!" How can you have a nice day when you are being ripped off and drug through the mud by this company?! Update 10.09.17 - well 2 years later and my sump pump/grinder pump is no longer working.
I am not surprised given the fact that they did a terrible job supervising their sub contractors. I contacted a plumber in regards to fixing it and he advised that I go back to original plumber/contractor since it should still be under warranty.attempted to contact New Line Construction and they stated that they no longer have the information on file.how do they not have the information on file?!?! shouldn't they have it on file for IRS purposes?!? it's not like this is 10 years ago! Was notified that they are no longer in business, thank goodness!

I would highly recommend the team at New Line Construction. We had a ground up project involving a 9-unit apartment complex in a high density area near the UT campus. As with any commercial project, there were challenges navigating the city inspectors, right-of-way requirements, and coordinating with project engineers and the architect.

New Line built a 3,800 sf residence for me in Austin in 2015-16, according to plans I had pre-approved with City. New line had a thorough bid process. I'd highly recommend Brian and Melissa Conant, owners, for helping the project stay (mostly) on budget. When the city ordinances required extra expenditure, Brian personally handled every situation with great aplomb and saved both money and the project itself. Melissa helped me save money on fixtures and lighting; her taste and thorough research made things look great.

We hired New Line for a ground up 8 unit development project and overall the experience was excellent! Brian and Devon worked with us through the conceptual process with the architects and caught several design issues that were simplified and ended up saving us a ton of money and time. Thank you guys and keep up the good work!

New Line was highly effective and professional in all aspects.
Best of all, the owner and project manager were always available and willing to communicate any level of detail requested. I would use New Line Construction on our next project and would recommend them without hesitation.

Our recent experience working with New Line Construction was nothing shy of excellent. Over the entirety of my career, this project had some of the fewest guest impacts which made it even better. They were always professional and courteous and always knew exactly where they were at throughout the project's progress and completion.

New Line did a full kitchen remodel plus other misc. jobs around our condo. Since we were actually living in another city at the time, we put a lot of trust in Brian.and he didn't let us down. He kept us up to date and communicated with us throughout the process. I think it shows how much trust we had in him to let him have complete access to our condo without us being in town. There were only one or two challenges and he made sure everything was done to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend him.

New Line Construction delivered on a quality remodel and addition. My 1940's home needed a great deal more than some TLC. New Line came in with a competitive bid and some great ideas. The delivered on cleaning up old permits from previous contractor and building some new square footage. Brian and his team worked great with my engineers and architect. There is no doubt we will reach back to New Line Construction on our future remodel and new construction projects.

We used New Line Construction to remodel our master bathroom. The work is excellent, done on schedule and within budget. Chris (the on site construction manager) is a saint - always patient with my numerous questions and solving the occasional twist that pops up. Brian is quite helpful with the design and keeping the project flowing along as well. We plan on using NLC for future remodeling projects!
