We sincerely appreciate Joe's swift management of this job. He exceeded our expectations. He delivered in advance of the proposed schedule. All employees were professional and knowledgeable. Asked for referrals from friends and Joe came recommended. We asked for quotes from the big name companies. We needed roofing (reusing existing tile) and solar. Joe gave us a competitive quote within 48 hours and could handle the entire job without delays for roofing like the other places.

From the time we signed the contract to operational solar was a total of 2 weeks! The roofers handed triple digit heat, third story roof, and fixing an exposed area that opened to the attic. Solar team arrived promptly and had the job complete in a day. Joe communicated every step of the way and was available to answer questions when they came up. Easiest home repair/improvement we have ever done after 30+years of home ownership. We highly recommend SolarQuest!

We bought our system from SolarQuest in December of 2014. They worked overtime to get done by the end of the year so we could get the tax break. Since then the system has paid for itself: our electricity bill has been zero ever month since January 2015, and we aren't shy about using the air conditioner. In all that time, there have been only two problems, both of which were the circuit breaker, not the solar system itself, and in both cases we found out about it from a phone call from Joe Corzo at SolarQuest. (The more recent case was yesterday, which is why I'm writing this.) They were still monitoring the system after over 7 years, and Joe talked me through what I needed to do to fix things both times.

Picking which company and understanding all the options, was very stressful and actually took me over 2 years, to actually trust someone. When we began the process of selecting a contractor, we started with Solar Quest based on a friend's thorough research and recommendation. He was proactive in keeping us informed every step of the way. His installation crew is top-notch. They completed the installation of 18 panels in under half a day. Solar Quest was recommended by two of my friends. Joe and Robert are the best. They did a great job. Their price wasn't the lowest but certainly, one of the lowest. Customer service is great. They're almost always available to answer any questions I had. This is one of the reasons I chose them over other good solar installers. I highly recommend them.

DO NOT RECOMMEND We came to do business with solar quest when our realtor recommended the company to us. She had used them before and we trusted her judgement. Joe and Robert sold us a great story. They promised us the best service and Robert told us most of his clients send him yearly Christmas cards. The solar installation was supposed to be done in under a week.

Part of it was relocating pool solar heating panels, which they assured me was something they were experienced in. We started getting excuse after excuse on why they couldn't come to work everyday (emergency dental appointments, family visiting from deployment, employees volunteering with floods in Texas, sick relatives.). They thought of every excuse.

It ended up taking 2 1/2 weeks to complete the job. They informed me that my electrical panel needed to be upgraded and replaced at a cost of $2000, which I agreed to. After the project was complete, the problems started. First my pool solar heating system started leaking. This was the system that had been relocated by Solar Quest and which we had not had any issues until the day it was moved.

It took them about a week and a half to fix it after they came to inspect it. Then, we noticed the pool solar panels were sliding off of the roof. I called them back and they put the blame on the pool solar heating system installers. They said to contact them which I did. When the pool solar company came to survey the system, they found it had been severely damaged (see pics).

Solar Quest had tried to cover up the damage by spray painting the broken roof tiles and brackets to match our roof. To our dismay the warranty was voided when Solar Quest relocated the pool system. The pool solar company encouraged us to file a claim against Solar Quest and even offered to provide us with a written statement and pictures to back up our claim in court.

I ended up paying solar quest $1200 to fix the damage they caused, because it was cheaper than going with the original pool solar company. Joe used every opportunity to bad mouth the pool solar company and it's owner during this transaction. 2 weeks ago (9 months after I chose the WRONG solar company) I was having some electric work done in my house when the electrician cut into the drywall to run some wire into the electrical panel that Solar Quest had installed when they noticed exposed spliced wires in our drywall (not in a junction box).

This is a major fire hazard. I sent the pictures to Solar Quest. Once again they gave me the run around its been 2 weeks and they have not come to the house or offered to fix their mistake. Please do not be mislead by this company. I regret the day we asked our realtor for a recommendation on a solar company.

The service was great. The electricians and installers were professional, patient and answered all of our questions. Upon arrival, they explained what they were going to do and when they were finished, cleaned up at the end of the day. The sales staff was informative and prompt with information, documents and keeping us informed on how things were going.

After sending out an RFP to several Solar installers, five vendors responded with competitive quotes. We selected vendors based on their fit to the following criteria: Number of Panels, Inverters, KWH, Warranty, Monitoring System, Claimed Offset, Gross Price, Net Cost (minus any rebates). Further refined our selection to three installers who were best able to communicate their services, provide local representation, and demonstrate experience with similarly sized systems.

With reasonable responses to all of these categories, SolarQuest won our business, and we're happy they did! Despite a rain delay on the first day of installation, Robert and Mitchel came in the next day and had a significant portion of the job done by the end of day-2. With little more than electrical work left they returned on day-3 to wrap up and prepare for inspection. [Note: we had a new electrical panel and grounding installed a couple of years ago] While the team on the roof did the technical work, Joe and PA worked on the paper from the office, prepared the dates for inspection and got us into the net-metering program. Now, two weeks later, the work is done, and we're happy to see the system performing as expected without exception.

The installation is as clean, the information system is smart, and absolutely nothing was left untucked. Kudos to the whole team at SolarQuest, you're true to your word and a pleasure to work with on this project. Best Regards!

SolarQuest was GREAT! Joe is straightforward, honest and helpful. All the other companies tried to "SELL" me immediately, one tried to get me to sign a contract the first time we met. I never felt pressure with Joe, he explained the process and what would happen and that is exactly what happened. The installation was on time and done well. I REALLY like NO SUB CONTRACTORS.the installers were all company employees and very polite.

They cleaned up the first night before they left and by day two, they were done and left my place spotless. Finally, AFTER the sale and installation, I had several questions. Joe ALWAYS called back and was happy to answer all my questions. I LOVE when a job is complete and paid for and an owner doesn't forget about you. Joe and his crew were great. Once the work was started, they finished really fast and even went the extra step in there clean up and to blend any of the extra electrical work into the house. After years of talking, investigating, and researching, we decided to purchase solar. We called SolarQuest because we saw several of their clean installations in our neighborhood. We talked with a few of the owners who recommended Joe Corzo and his company. We are so happy we made that decision. We have a metal roof which can be vulnerable to damage with workers walking on it.

On one nearby home, we observed the care Joe's employees took to preserve the integrity of a metal roof. No long metal conduit pipes showing on the roof; Install was clean, neat and professional. They even painted the conduit which runs discreetly under the eaves. It is color-matched to our home's paint color. The crew members were efficient, very courteous, and cleaned up completely at the end of each workday. SolarQuest worked with the city to get all our permitting done smoothly, and Joe communicated with us on a daily basis.

Customer service is Mr. Corzo's HIGHEST priority. No high pressure tactics to sell us on solar or push us to buy more than what we needed. It is so gratifying to watch the meter spin backwards. We have and will continue to highly recommend SolarQuest.

I just add more solar panels on my roof. Solar Quest did it in 2 weeks from the date of signing contract to finishing installation. Joe and his team are wonderful. I'm very happy with them. Will definitely refer Solar Quest to my family, friend and co-worker.

I am very, very happy I went with SolarQuest. Joe is a pleasure to work with, as is Robert. They installed a right-sized, well designed system (which Robert improved during installation, working around my drain vents on the roof). The equipment is rock solid, the installation is perfect, and they explained everything in detail. The system was installed quickly (our recent rain delayed things a couple days but I wouldn't want to work with electrical equipment on a wet, slippery roof either!) When the flashing sleeve on the cable fitting had a 3/8 dip where a few drops of rain could sit, Robert filled the dip with sealer so NO water can sit - this is the attention to detail they offer. I couldn't be happier.

I chose SolarQuest for a PV panel installation at my residence after receiving proposals from 6 different companies. Joe and his team were thorough, fast, and good which is a rare thing to find anywhere. From a simple quote that had actual numbers on it to installers who were considerate and worked fast I couldn't have had a better experience.
