Called them for an "Ice Dam" - The person over the phone had me saying it several time over and over because she could not understand my not so "hard accent". She was definitely amused but decided to tell me "We don't deal with those". Since the website stated: " In addition to removing ice dams from your roof and gutters ". I guess she mean you don't deal with foreigners?

Terribly disappointed in the service we received! We signed our contract on February 7th but work didn't start until April 20th. We made many calls and sent text messages to Ron. Often it was many days before we got a response along with multiple excuses as to why our job wasn't started. At one point our job was to be "next", but again, excuses that there were emergencies that came up when we finally did reach him.
He never initiated calls to us with his excuses, we had to reach out to him for any communication! He acted clueless as to why were upset with the multiple delays. I got a play by play as the dumpster and shingles were delivered to our home but he didn't even start the roofing that day. We had the dumpster and shingles over the weekend only to arrive home from work on Monday to find that no work was started and no reasonable excuse for the delay.
We were told the job would be done in 2 days. It took 4 days, and on Friday Ron wanted the balance owed for the job. Well, we held the check as the clean up was awful! Surprisingly Ron et al were only 40 minutes late on a Saturday and actually did a good job. As another consumer mentioned Ron never got on our roof, yet wanted to charge us additional money to remove a layer of old shingles.
This is the third roof we have had (various locations). Never have we experience such poor communication. We are satisfied with the final outcome but will not use A2Roofing or RJ Francis Building Company again. Strangely our final invoice was not from A2 Roofing but RJ Francis. Hmm

The owner (Ron) did come to my house after the fiasco I previously described, and once again, gave me a song and dance about how busy they are, but that they do care about their customers. He said he would give us a bid, even though he didn't expect us to give our business to them after all this time of being 100% uncommunicative. He took pictures but did not walk the roof.
He said he would send a bid to us. That was on 10-23. Today is 11-3, and still no bid. I don't understand how someone can not keep his word to customers. Terrible company. I would never recommend them to anyone, nor will I give them the time of day again.

I needed quick help with a roof leak. I thought it was an ice dam issue, a2roofing responded quickly, was happy to take care of the ice.but further diagnosed my problem to be a plumbing vent stack.and fixed that as well. They were prompt, honest, and very reasonably priced. I would use them again in an instant for any roofing issue.

I called Ann Arbor Roofing Company to schedule a bid for replacing the roof on my 1901 historical home in Chelsea, Mi. I was quickly provided with quite a bit of information about the quality of their work and the guarantees they offer. I was provided with an appointment for the next day at 1pm. I received a call from their office at the time of my appointment telling me that they could not be at my home due to truck repairs that had been delayed.
I said that I understood and accepted an appointment for 4:30 pm the same day, after offering to reschedule to another day if that would be better for them. Thankfully, I appear to have been spared a lot of disappointment and aggravation had I hired this company to replace my roof because 4:30 pm came and went with no company representative showing up, no phone call, no text message etc. So, in my opinion, if they can't keep an appointment or provide a potential customer with a courtesy call, after already inconveniencing them once, I would hate to think about their work ethic or timeliness, much less with the "quality" of their work, when it came to actually doing any work on my home.
