Flat commercial roofs may be made out of a variety of materials. Each of them have their own pros and cons. Also, each of these roofing systems are applied differently for reroofs and repairs. As commercial roofing experts, we are familiar with working with these materials and systems for roof repair and roof replacement.
When a professional repairs a roof for you it takes less time. Because we have done the job so many times it is quick and efficient for us. Keep in mind that some roofing materials are only sold through distribution to professional roofers. Not having access to materials can stop you dead in your tracks.

Brian and crew did a great job on our 20K sq/ft Detroit roof for a price that beat the competition. They used.6 mil pvc material which is significantly thicker than a more expensive system proposed by another co. AND, they have the same or better warranty as the competition: 15 years. On my job they cut out rotted decking, replaced it, and handled some tricky facets of our roof with great skill! They also - without charging us more - built a new deck / drain system for one our our parapet walls. Highly recommended company.

We paid five figures to have the roof replaced on our commercial building. The job was done so poorly that it has rained inside our building repeatedly since. A year has passed, and we've had to call them back time and again, including today, when again the rain poured into our interior. Because of so many issues, we asked an engineer to look at the work, and he confirmed that Summit neglected to manage the seams to keep the water from flowing downhill into our building.
This has been an expensive disaster. I would urge you to find a different company to do your work. [EDIT/UPDATE: After more than a year, Summit finally capped around the perimeter of the roof, where they had previously drilled vertically down into the structure to attach the membrane, those vertical breaches being one cause of the significant leaks into our building for months and months. A terrible experience.]
