United was established by Billy Henderson in 1985 and was known as Henderson Heating & Air. We started as a small company handling residential new construction and service work. In 1992 Henderson Heating and Air bought another small air conditioning company and merged the assets and manpower to become "United".We started doing light commercial HVAC in the mid '90s and we continued to grow into a larger air conditioning and heating company so that by 2000 we were one of the top 3 residential air conditioning companies in Montgomery, Alabama. In 2000 we began to pursue replacement in existing homes and build up our service department.

After adding Freon for several years, I decided that this year I was going to get a new and more efficient heat pump. After much research, talking to several companies and getting quotes from three, I decided to go with United's Goodman heat pump. There were several things that lead me to the decision but one stood out from the rest.

It 's been almost a year since your company installed my new Goodman heat pump and Marathon hot water heater. Both have been operating flawlessly and I am showing substantial savings on my electric bill compared to my old heat pump. The installation went well and your installers were very professional.

We have used United Heating and Air since we started building homes in 1989. They have always stood behind their work and are concerned about the quality of the job they perform. Having a 24 hour on call technician to respond to problems when they occur has been a comforting factor for our customers. They are always professional and courteous when dealing with the the homeowners.

I had 4 estimates from well known companies, and the one I liked was United. Your specialist was the only one that tied things together for me in a way I understood and felt comfortable with. The installation crew was equally impressive. After the installation, I know I made the right choice, and have found my go-to company for as long as I remain in this area. I could not be happier.
