I never write bad reviews, but I hope this one prevents someone from losing money from Southern Landscape. Last year, we got a preliminary design done by Colleen. She didn't ask anything about our desires for our project, and designed a space that was not at all what we wanted and way beyond our budget. We requested edits to the design, but we never heard back.
After many weeks, we sent a message through their website saying the project was unfinished and we wanted the design file to have someone else fix it. A woman named Shannon sent us a PDF file that could not be edited, and we never heard back. After spending a lot of money on the design, we ended up with nothing. This company lacks professionalism and ethics.

Be very careful working with Southern Landscape. We reached out for a proposal to put in a sandstone patio in the backyard. Our budget was around 8,000 - 12,000. Upon looking at the space Colleen said that the project was doable and within price range. After paying the $500 design fee we received back 4 proposals several weeks later ranging from. 18,000 - 40,000.
Their was one proposal that was around 12,000 that included nothing that we discussed. We've written several emails and have not heard anything back. Trying to get back half of our design fee as outlined in the contract. When asked why the proposals were so high Colleen stated that was the cost of sandstone. If the project was going to be that high I wish we knew before we started down this path Not sure where mis communication occurred but all were hoping to do now is get back the $250 outlined in the contract.

Gorgeous, love the casita and the beautiful landscaping! So many creative ideas. Reminiscent of the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. The rock work is beyond comparison and they are an outstanding landscaping Company and obviously so much more. We have loved working with them the last 4 years and look forward to many more years and projects! They are the BEST.

Over the last two years Southern Landscape has done landscaping, hardscaping, irrigation, and lighting for us and we have been extremely pleased with all aspects of service. Initially we had them build an outdoor kitchen onto an already - existing outdoor fireplace - they did a fantastic job with the stonework (matching existing).

Scott, Ross and their crew did an amazing job today. They arrived on time on the day they promised. We have a 24 year old house with mature, and perhaps overgrown landscaping. They removed the old and brought in the new to plan. When we realized we forgot an area, Scott priced in the addition fairly. We are very happy with their service!

Southern Landscape and Gardens was great! We wanted to update our backyard and sought them out because their online designs are similar to our taste. After several rounds of back-and-forth design (they even came to us to discuss our plans on weekends!), they helped us with the paperwork for approval for our Homeowners' Association and they got to work.
They broke ground on a Thursday and were finished with our major project (a serious cedar pergola, a stone corner bench, and some major landscaping revamp) by the following Friday. Their crews were efficient, friendly, and on top of everything. Their customer service is very well done--our landscape designer came out regularly to check our project's progress. The work is solid and adds some serious value to our house. We had a wonderful experience with them and would highly recommend them to others!
