Save yourself the pain of doing business with this company. Unresponsive, overpriced. The worst is that after all of that you're left with a terrible work product. Half a lawn of brown sod (of course when it's left for an entire day to dry out on your patio in the sun lucky more wasn't dead) - which you have zero recourse over as it's written in the contract that dead sod is acceptable for them to lay down if it's under a certain percentage and you don't question it before they leave.

Smart of them to just leave when they finished and not ring the doorbell first. Attempts at phone calls to ask about care were ignored. Weeds are growing throughout the sod because the area wasn't prepped correctly. Don't even waste your time. Never ever have I experienced such a garbage company, owned by such a garbage person.

I called to get someone to come out for an estimate on sodding, landscaping, fencing, and pergola installation. I was told I am outside their service area. "A true New Orleans business" that doesn't do business in all of New Orleans.

Jake worked with me when we have to move the planned project times. The team came out and was able to facilitate the work and a change order on the materials needed last minute! Great team and great value! Service: Garden tidy-up

I was very impressed when I called to inquire about a extensive sub drainage system as well as sod installation and a representative Jake came out on the same day. He was very professional and sent me an estimate shortly thereafter. Once the job was started they came essentially everyday until the job was completed. Jake remained very available the entire time and was easily accessible by his mobile phone.

He would then follow through on what we discussed. The work crew was very professional and respectful. As far as all the work done, I am very happy. I would highly recommend there company!

Met with Absolute yesterday regarding landscape grading work we will need post-construction on a studio that should be completed in a few months. He reviewed site and we discussed needs and plans, though there was no opinion to shoot grade before doing the work, because he could eyeball grading needed. Perhaps so? I was told Absolute would try to send quote over straight away and the person gave me his cell phone number to reach him and told me, if quote accepted, not to send deposit until two weeks before I needed the work.

I awoke this morning to an email from the same person saying Absolute too busy to do job but to keep them in mind for future work. Really? Totally unprofessional. Would not recommend.

Absolute Lawn Care is so professional and I love their quirky emails/style. Two of their staff did two small jobs for me--trimming back some trees in front yard and cleaning up a terrible carpet mess of jasmine on the cement behind my shed. It was so thorough and well-done--above and beyond my expectations. Exceptionally pleased and happy to recommend them to anyone.

I previously had good experiences with this company, but customer service has gotten far worse over the last 2 years. They kept my card on file from a previous job and charged it to start a new job before I authorized it. Then finding that my gate was locked, chose to trespass by circumventing the locked gate by climbing under my house. Is it ok to. trespass now or is that still illegal?

The owner offered no apology, but he did rudely refuse to finish the job, refuse to return my money, and hung up repeatedly on me. This is not someone who values his customers. I expect professionalism, not hostility. No one should use this company until they figure out how to be respectful to ALL of their clients. I've already asked others for whom I've recommended this company to not renew their contracts or to reject their current quotes. I suggest you do the same. Garden Doctors is a much more responsible and respectful company to work with.

Hiring this lawn service was the worst experience I have ever had with a business. I was a loyal customer for nearly 2 years for lawn mowing services and had no real complaints other than the fact that they would move my trash cans into my neighbor's yard and not put them back. This was an annoyance seeing as I was paying so much for this service but not a big deal.

Then the front of my car was scratched during their service one day. It was a deep scratch that removed the paint and I was even home when it happened and saw my car immediately before and after they serviced my lawn. Communicating with the owner about this was an absolutely horrific experience seeing as he was completely irrational, antagonistic, and refused to take responsibility or even apologize.

I filed a formal complaint through the Better Business Bureau (there are others there as well which I highly encourage you to read). Please be careful when considering this service- read previous reviews that were negative as my experience with the owner was very similar to theirs as well as lawsuits filed against this company all of which are public record.

Thank you so much for a wonderful job. It was really a pleasure working with you. I have had several different landscapers and gardeners over the years, but have never been so satisfied. In the past I would change each time hoping to find someone I could rely on and - hooray! I've finally found you.

I have used Absolute for clearing out the back yard areas, tree trimming and regular maintenance. They are efficient, fast, reliable, and reasonable. I would totally recommend their services.

I was very pleased and surprised that when I initially called to inquire about a sub drainage system being needed that a representative from your company came out the same day. In fact, within maybe an hour. So a big shout out to the young man, Jake. He was very professional and sent me an estimate immediately, he also included estimates on other work that I may want to look into. As far as the work done I am very happy. They did great work on some tree trimming for us last year. Easy to work with, prompt and good cleanup.

I was very pleased with your automatic online bill pay. It's great not having to send a check out every month and having the ability to view my invoices online anytime I please.

Quick response to my request for a quote. The actual quote took about ten minutes. I requested a quick turnaround that was unreasonable and they delivered. I would recommend them to anyone that needs their gardens and hedges spruced up.

Ok, so I'm not sure what other services these guys provided for the positive reviews, but they were a terrible service provider for me. I contracted them to come and give me a quote for laying sod in my back yard.

They leave a note stating what they have done and make suggestions when I need mulch, fertilizer, etc.

My entire property is fenced with a locked gate. They are so trustworthy they have a key to the gate. All of the employees are professional and courteous. More than once, they have carried in my groceries for me! That is what I call service! Honestly, they are amazing and I highly recommend Absolute Lawn Care.

We found Absolute Lawn Care on the internet. After sending an e-mail, we quickly received a response from Ben. We scheduled an appointment, which he made convenient to our work schedules.

He had a vision and promptly created a drawing, while explaining what each plant/bush would look like. On a time-line convenient for us, we had an entirely new landscaped home. Being on a corner lot, meant there was plenty of landscaping to do. Not only has everything continued to grow and become even more beautiful, the maintenance provided has been the best. With every two week visits, everything always looks perfect. Customer service has been excellent. Couldn't ask for anything/anyone better!

We had a bunch of work in our backyard done, and Robert took really good care of us. We had a couple of trees removed, the yard elevated, and landscaping done, and all of our preferences and requests were addressed. Most impressive were: (1) the timeliness of the work (2) Robert's attention to detail/responsiveness. In terms of #1, the bulk of the work was done in a week. As for #2, Robert literally came to make sure everything was OK with our landscaping DURING Hurricane Isaac. Very pleased.
