Steve the lead plumber on site was excellent. He along with Devin & Patrick maintained impressive. professional manners/composure despite neighbors verbal attack. Steve kept us informed every step of the job & I'd highly recommend him. Thr company, Magic Plumbing stood out from others by providing detailed service/pricing info, timely response to calls on billing errors and having the ability to communicate well to customers the many processes needed to complete job.

Adam and Lucky were on time ready to go this morning. Things were pretty much done in a little more than an hour. No leaks in either toilet. The lid for the replacement toilet was chipped, Adam took it back to the store and got another one for us. My wife and I like Magic Plumbing. Good work, backed up and easy to deal with. Bernardino Merino was great! He installed the garbage disposal professionally and efficiently. Magic Plumbing is lucky to have him on their staff. I know he does not set the prices but the only negative feedback was that the install was $294 for about a hour's worth of work. This felt a bit steep to me. He gave me the amount before he began the work and I could have said "No". I agreed to the amount and he proceeded. Thanks again. I think he does by. "Dino". -Ed

When we had a clog in our laundry drain, Adam came promptly and was able to quickly snake it out. He also noted that we were missing a vent and provided an estimate to install one. The cost for snaking seemed high relative to the amount of labor performed, but he offered a small discount because the clog cleared pretty quickly. He was professional and efficient!

The only thing magic about Magic about Magic Plumbing is how quickly the plumber vanished. Said he was going to write and estimate in his truck and instead performed a disappearing trick.

Nice plumber but overall a very disappointing experience. A little over $400 for 20 minutes of work. And despite showing exactly what I was doing, when the quote was provided it was done at a very high level, and the plumber made no mention of the fact that he was going to do only a portion of the work. He showed me the "finished" work and when I asked if he was going to finish the setup he said "yes, you can do that now that I'm done." Ultimately I was left to finish the job, which was disappointing because the plumber could have easily done the work in the 1 hour I paid for, and instead was happy to leave with extra time paid for but not used for my appointment.

Just wanted to give Chris @ Magic Plumbing a full shout out for his professionalism and quickness with his response. Literally arrived at my door 20 minutes after the phone call to schedule an estimate, and the work was done the same day. I'm so pleased to have had this sticky situation with a leaky pipe resolved leading up to a three day weekend! Dennis Perez from Magic Plumbing Heating & Cooling came out for a furnace inspection and was able to quickly and efficiently identify the issue. He quickly repaired the furnace and provided additional safety information regarding annual maintenance and carbon monoxide detectors. I'll definitely contact Magic Plumbing Heating & Cooling for future furnace maintenance and repairs.

Dennis was extremely professional and performed the work on my furnace quickly. I had initially called two different companies and each person that came out could not figure out what was wrong with my 65 year-old furnace. When I called Magic Plumbing, I literally stated I needed someone that was experienced in working on old San Francisco homes as we had zero heat.

They said they had someone who was experienced and Dennis came out to my home. He immediately took a look at the heater and figured out what was wrong in less than ten minutes! He told me what part what was needed to fix it and gave me a honest estimate of the time it'll take to receive the part. I'm very happy with his work and his professionalism.

I had a great and prompt experience with Magic Plumbing. I sent a request for a few plumbing companies via Yelp and MP was first to reply. Their customer service team was very polite and helpful on the phone and arranged for Chris to come to my apartment the next morning to fix my leaky kitchen sink. Chris arrived on time and was in and out within an hour.

He fixed the kitchen sink and had time to inspect our shower as well which also was having an issue we discovered that morning. When he was done he even offered to put back the cabinet drawer I had taken off for easy under sink access and put back all the cleaning supplies I had stored down there too. Thank you so much Chris! Would definitely come back to Chris at Magic Plumbing for any future needs we have.

Our furnace for 20+ yrs after 4 repairs over that time we decided it was time to replace after it died once again. We contacted Magic for an estimate and they gave me one right away over messages through yelp and a phone call and a visit to our home. The estimate over the phone was fairly close to the estimate on site which was higher since the new furnace had to cover our large home compared to the older one.

Process took 2 business days. Jay Gamble was the installer who came. Very professional work and very clean and a quick 2.5 hrs. The furnace they installed along with the thermostat is heating our home pretty efficiently it seems. Would recommend these guys for your HVAC and plumbing needs.

I used their service once, and now they're flooding my mailbox with their junkmail. A few months ago, I called them and asked them to stop. They promised that they would. They lied, their spam still keeps flooding my mailbox. Unacceptable. Stay away from them.

First, Monique in the scheduling department did an amazing job with keeping me updated on the status and availability of their plumbers on Monday and finally advised that no one would be available until the following day. Marcos showed up within the appointment window and got right to work. I appreciated that Marcos explained what he was doing and what he was finding during each step of the process.

In the end, Marcos summarized his findings, our options, pricing, etc. Though minor leaks were found, none substantiated the water meter readings we were getting from the Water Department. Marcos suggested we reach out to the water company.and here comes the best part, he provided us with his written report, photos and VIDEOS of his findings which included the water meter at a standstill (which appears to contradict a huge leak)!

I am hopeful that Marcos' inspection and videos will go a long way in helping us resolve our water bill expenses with the water company. I highly recommend Magic Plumbing for their quick response, thorough inspection and supporting photos and videos.

Jun was a very polite and very helpful plumber. He diagnosed the location of our clog and used the right method (an electric snake) to fix it. He was very careful about cleanliness and wore a mask. The entire operation took about 40 min. I highly recommend Jun. Service: Drain cleaning

Be very careful! Water heater went out Friday, setup a Saturday 9:30 AM to replace water heater. Also told them furnace would probably need to be replaced after. Sat morning they called to confirm appointment and I sent pictures of my water heater. Eventually around 2 pm the repair man showed up. He looked at it and said he needed help to install and would not be able to do it (not sure why they send one man for a large water heater).

He told me they would call me shortly to give a cost estimate and when they can install. I received no call or text from the company the rest of the day, or the whole next day. On Monday I received a text saying they would like to come out and look at the furnace to give me and estimate. I said what about the water heater? They said they would give me an estimate on both.

I reminded them they guy was already here and took a bunch of pictures. They again said they would send a "Furnace" estimator out and do both (hard upsell) I told them like I stated initially, I wanted hot water (furnace replaced) before I worry about the furnace. At that point they told me I should probably find another company to do the work. I was completely shocked.

Bottom line, arrived late, looked at the job, unable to do the work, left me hanging for almost two days, then refused to give me an estimate on the water heater without coming out again and giving me an estimate on my furnace. Be very careful dealing with this company.

Adam arrived on time and quickly assessed the condition of my 12 year old water heater recommending replacement. He returned in less than an hour with a new unit which unfortunately was found to be defective after it was fully installed. Without any complaining he removed the defective unit and returned with another new unit which so far is working great. Adam was committed to making sure that we would have hot water for evening showers.

I was very pleased with the work carried out by Miguel Moran and fellow plumber Victor Nguyen. with Miguel most of the time. Miguel had carried out a plumbing project for us roughly one year ago, and I was pleased that he was working with us again. Why? He was thoroughly knowledgeable of the task to resolve, readily and courteously answered any questions I had, and his interest and enthusiasm in the job manifested itself in the high quality of work output. I discussed briefly with Miguel another project for the near future, and would be pleased if he were selected to carry it out.

Dennis and team were great. They spent time understanding the need, making suggestions for how best to approach in an affordable way. They'd need they wouldn't be the least expensive quote, and they weren't (we saw 4 HVAC and plumbing groups, Magic was in the middle for what we needed), but we felt comfortable with them and their expertise, and weren't disappointed. They'll be our plumber and HVAC go-to for as long as we're in the city.

Billie and Chris showed up on time and ready to work.both pleasant guys wanting to do their job.and they were friendly and knowledgeable. Magic Plumbing was recommended to us by a friend after our water heater broke down over the holidays. The entire process was very smooth from calling them to come and diagnose the problem to replacing the heater. Alberto was very professional and thorough. We went with Magic Plumbing buying and installing the new heater. Even though the first one we got (Bradford White) had issues, Alberto, Pablo and the team were very prompt in getting a new one (Rudd/Rheem) and replaced it the next day. Noticed my ceiling was become discolored and wet, also had some green spots suspicous for mold. I suspected a leak from my upstairs bathroom. I contacted magic plumbing to send a technician to locate and fix the leak. Spoke to Carl who was very friendly and responive, he even accommodated my schedule by sending someone during the hours that were ideal to my schedule. Joey arrived and immediately got to work.

He quickly diagnosed the issue in less than 15 minutes. He was able to fix the leak which was related to my upstairs bathroom in less than 20 minutes. Joey was polite, honest, efficient, and helpful. He could have upcharged me for another reason but he was honest and did the right thing. Ill reach out to magic plumbing again for future plumbing needs.

Highly recommend for quick, 7-day/week plumbing needs! We called Saturday morning about a clogged sink and they had resolved the problem by the same afternoon. Miguel was very professional, helpful and trustworthy. He worked quickly to unclog the drain and he explained everything he did afterward. Very good COVID precautions as well.

I had a good experience with Magic Plumbing at my Cow Hollow building in SF today. I needed help with a leaking water heater (on a Sunday)! I called Magic around noon and secured a technician visit between 3-5pm. Fortunately they arrived around 1:00 and did a full water heater replacement. Dino was the tech and he was friendly, calm and efficient. Call Magic Plumbing. They helped me in a pinch.

Their website is inaccurate. They don't service steam boilers. Person on the phone was nice.

I was really bummed when my long-term grease interceptor service provider called and told me they were no longer in that business any longer. They provided me with a referral for Magic Plumbing. I spoke to Pablo who was very nice and professional and told me he would send out his tech for an estimate the same day. James came, masked up and he was awesome and amazing! He was able to service my grease interceptor right away. I look forward to having Magic Plumbing as my new recurring service provider.

I have a rental unit that had a clogged drain and also needed some corroded pipes under the sink replaced. Magic Plumbing was able to schedule a plumber the same day. Alberto arrived on time wrote up an estimate and completed the work. I would call them again for any plumbing work.

I was able to resolve this issue with Magic Plumbing to my satisfaction. They ended up doing the right thing, and I received a credit, so I am updating my review.

They've pulled the same water heater scam as reported by Jemima H.'s review on 10/22/19! What should have been a $300 (generous!) thermocouple and/or gas controller repair in a 6 YEAR-OLD water heater cost $2100 to REPLACE the water heater. There was confusion about the cost (I thought it was $1200, already too expensive), but approved the job only because we needed hot water after two days without and a weekend was approaching. Otherwise, I would have gotten a second option FOR A $1200 JOB.

No options for less expensive hardware were offered. I was never told it would actually be $2100 until the job was done. I specifically asked the technician who inspected the unit why the thermocouple couldn't be replaced because the pilot would not stay lit. He said the water heater was "too old" to fix. NONSENSE! I was ripped-off and taken advantage of. If I could give 0 stars, or -1, I would. Can't wait to read their excuse, if they give one.

I had a problem with the clogged toilet. Called this company. the man came, did a shitty 15 minute job. didn't use any real plumber equipment. charged $245. next day the toilet has a problem again. Stay away.

I had a problem with an admittedly old furnace that wasn't operating correctly. Turns out there was just a fan limit switch that needed a little TLC. I hoped Magic Pluming could just swap out the part for reliability. Instead, the guy that came out took carbon monoxide (CO) readings as part of his inspection (fantastic!). But, he didn't take a flue reading, and rather took a reading a reading not ambient, not ON the vent, but IN the duct (not normal, but ok, sure).

This was right when the heater turned on (before reaching normal operating efficiency). Anyway, the result was higher than modern furnaces, but not anywhere near a scary one from our perspective. But he proclaims "I need to shut you down now" like it's a big emergency, and refuses to touch it, saying we need to replace it immediately. No mention of taking readings at the flue.

No mention of adjusting the fuel/air ratio. No mention of how far off we are from ambient urban CO levels (not far!). No talk about options at all. Just a fear-induced sales pitch to drop several thousand dollars immediately. We declined. Oh, and in "shutting us down, " he broke and jammed the ball lock valve that supplies gas to the furnace. I used the valve about 5 times the day prior. It worked flawlessly before Magic Plumbing broke it. Now I have to replace that. Awesome.

Magic Plumbing exceeded my expectations. Awesome service & great experience! Carl was awesome to work with. He handled my request to get someone to our place to clean our backed up drains and kept me posted when there was a delay. He was super professional. DJ who arrived had such an upbeat personality and was very professional & on time! Thanks guys for taking care of it so quickly and being so responsive and on time!;-

If you're a big fan of Nintendo, then you'll love Magic Plumbing! Back when we revealed the Wii during E3 2005 (then given the name "Revolution"), I was scared because I had no idea how the public would react to such a radically different idea of a motion control-based console targeted at more casual audiences. At that time, the GameCube was still marketed towards more hardcore Nintendo gamers, so the general populace had less of an idea of how impactful video games can be.

Long story short, I got gassy. The toilets at that show were dreadful, constantly breaking down whenever I had dump my Reggie load into that porcelain oval. But, we decided to give our friends over at Magic Plumbing a call and they were off to the rescue! The toilet was unclogged and patrons of Nintendo could poop once again! Thank you guys, Mario would be proud! Also, don't forget that Pokemon Sword and Shield editions are now in stores only for Nintendo Switch!

New sewer line. this was a major, major job. Almost 30 feet of sewer line that connected to the city's mainline. Excellent service, scheduled it in perfectly. Finished the job in shorter timeframe then was allotted. Steve the foreman was the easiest person and most relaxed person I've ever dealt with. He answered all my questions, and after all the trenching, you couldn't even tell that they were there. Paul, the owner, had all the permits in place from the city.

He was very easy to talk with, and very patient when explaining the job to me. The sidewalk was replaced, and looks perfect. I highly recommend Magic Plumbing to anyone who needs a new sewer line.

Contacted these guys to come out a look at my water tank for a repair after PG&E advised me to replace the spark ignitor (~$180 fir this part). Before they even touched it, they insisted I would need a new water heater ($2,200) and said they didnt 'like to' repair old water heaters because it wasn't worth it! I should have known when they refused to give me an $ estimation of this repair part +installation over the phone. Very disappointed.

Two cancellations at last minute. still no ETA - really unprofessional service They tell you Thursday afternoon and they call to cancel at 12.30 pm. I arranged for Saturday morning. Saturday, 9.30 am, they don't even have a schedule yet. Then they say 11 am, max 1 pm. They call 12.45 pm to say there's no parking, so they drove off, without even a ring. I go outside and there are 3 spots open. They tell me to wait an hour. After an hour and a half, they still don't have an ETA.

I had Paul do a job for me back in the mid-80s when he was first starting out. He did a great job then so I called him again for a major mainline replacement of our four unit building. He quoted a fair price and did the work promptly, on time, very neatly, and even though Underground utilities required them to route the main line differently, they did not change the original bid. Highly recommend.

Women be aware. I did not feel safe with this person in my place. He was unprofessional. I almost got my weapon out to get him out of my place. This place needs to train their male employees on how to treat women. Tell your employees that it is not acceptable to touch your clients. Never again. I should have reported him to the police.

Seriously, this is one of the best experiences I have had with a plumber - Pablo and I corresponded via email regarding my particular need. He was transparent about the type of work needed and even gave me recommendations on a nice replacement faucet for my kitchen sink. Total scope of work included installing a reverse osmosis kit and replacing the faucet - Mike and Ryan were my plumbers on the day of installation.

They texted me a half hour before their arrival and were at my house within their appointment window. They greeted me with smiles and walked me through their work - part of the tank for the reverse osmosis kit did not fit under the sink so Mike was able to adjust the work and use a portion of my other cabinet to accommodate the whole kit. They were thorough in their work and finished in less than two hours. I will definitely be calling them again for any work that I need! Thank you, gentlemen!

I've used Magic Plumbing for a number of jobs, some of which have been complicated including running gas lines up multiple floors through walls, and every time I have been extremely happy. Pablo goes out of his way to make sure service is excellent and is extremely accommodating.

Quick response and good results. Only thing was I had wanted the hides on my wSher to be replaced but he didn't ha e the hoses. The price wS a little much for tightening hoses and a check but then again, what Plummer is cheap!

I recently had an issue with my sewage ejector pump. On the first visit, Mike came to take a look at the issue. Before Mike's visit, I got a few consultations from other plumbing services, and they all recommended that I replace the entire system.
