Travis owner and founder - Travis began learning the fence trade in 1995. While in the Marine Corps he worked with a local fence company part time, learning all the aspects of the trade. Travis then accepted a job as associate engineer and moved to Tallahassee, attending TCC and FSU (Go Noles). As a design engineer and program manager over the course of eight years he designed and saw to completion several military products.

He then thought it was time for a career change. He wanted to get outside, meet people and enjoy the fresh air. G & S Fence was founded in 2007. Travis' main goals were to build a company based on an unparalleled level of customer service and quality.

The people we met with (Drake Anderson and installation crew) were friendly and professional. We had some trouble with scheduling the work but that is not unusual for this time. However, communication with us regarding delays or missed appointments with the contracted work left something to be worked on. Twice we waited all day for the installation crew to arrive and not a phone call to explain that they would not be coming. Other than that we are completely happy with the replacement gate that was installed.

After the stress of moving into a new house, I am glad my experience with G&S Fence and Deck was great from start to finish. It started with a reasonable free quote, and then I was added to the schedule fairly quickly! When Daniel and Seth arrived, they were quite professional. They used great materials, and the finished product is wonderful. In less than 2 days, I saw my rickety and poorly maintained old deck transformed into a true work of art.

The level of craftsmanship and care in making the deck that leads to our front doors is just stunning. I will call on G&S again for future renovation projects. Thank you for both the quality and a job well done.

We have used G&S three times - for a large wood deck, a paver patio, and most recently for our front steps and walkway. Aaron was so awesome to work with - excellent attention to detail and communication along the way. He even cared about the little things like making sure I had another way out of the house during this project and cleaning up after each day so it didn't look like a construction site the whole time. We LOVE the end result and neighbors compliment it regularly.

The new Deck is massive compared to my old deck, which they tore down and removed. We would highly recommend G&S for any work you may need. We had a shadowbox wood fence installed by G & S Fence. Garrett and JP did a wonderful job! My husband and I are very pleased with our beautiful new fence! They even did a double gate, per our request, which turned out beautifully! Also, they knew we had a little dog and they went above and beyond to make sure there were no gaps at the bottom she could escape through and I really appreciated that.

They started on Monday and because of weather couldn't come back until Friday but they finished that day. They were efficient and professional. Thank you for your great service! I highly recommend G & S Fence!
