1979 was some year to start a business. Interest rates were close to 20% and we had a near "China Syndrome" at Three Mile Island. The brothers Greene, Marty and Rob, started Martin Fence Co. on Old Dixie Hwy. in Lake Park - just south of the Kelsey City Gates. We had to sell an awful lot of 4' Galvanized at $1.50 per foot to make it through those early days.$1.50 a foot! The hard way - without a smart phone, without a laptop, no GPS and no email. With a dial telephone and phone booths on the road (pocketful of dimes) with adding machines and carbon paper for the "Customer" copy of the contract we signed.

I would give Martin Fence a 10 star rating if I could. Nolan was our point of contact. He was attentive, personable, professional, honest, reliable, accommodating, and extremely pleasant to work with. From beginning to end our experience with Martin Fence was phenomenal. Critical: Professionalism, Value Nolan came to give estimate. Estimate was $2,000 more then 2 other estimates. When I told him this, he got nasty and accused me of using his license and Insurance for my landscaper. I felt he was dishonest and not trustworthy. He got nasty so quickly. This is usually a sign of a dishonest person.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Disaster! My ailing father spent 6k and we have a partially complete fence that looks like a hurricane blew through. Wish I would've read all of the 1 star reviews before signing up. All voicemails not returned. Absolute and utter waste of time Service: Custom fabrication

Needed a 4ft enameled chain link done on the fly and he was quick to respond, however Google messed up and gave me his East coast FL # with me being on the West coast! However, he was extremely professional and courteous knowing we couldn't do business and helped me out tremendously. Very good man. I learned to book out in advance! Dave

We were very satisfied with Martin Fence Co! We are first time homeowners and needed a new fence for our yard. We had a lot of questions, and they took the time to answer each, without making us feel like we were asking silly questions. Their pricing was competitive, their sales team was friendly and knowledgeable, and the finished fence looks great! We look forward to using them for new projects in the future.

About a month or two ago I contacted them about getting a privacy fence and did not know I had to get a survey done before hand. but I told them I would wait until the summer to get it done. I got the survey done and called them and they were out the next day to sign the contract and get the first payment. they took two weeks to get the parts from their supplier and came out Monday morning and started and by Wednesday early they were finished they did an amazing job and very friendly
