Carr's Lawn & Landscape

I hired them in 2020 to seed and landscape my entire property, as it was a new build. I do not like leaving low reviews like this because I don't want to mess with anyone's ability to provide for themselves, but my lawn that I paid a great deal for looks horrible. It's the worst on this block of properties of new builds for sure. It's hard and patchy with many areas of non-growth.

There are areas in back where there are tufts of grass that are clumped nicelyand hardy, but then the rest of it is sparse and spindly. The owner was supposed to address it last Spring, 2021, after personally coming back out to my property, but he never sent anyone to fix it. I don't know if it was the seed, the acknowledgement that they never brought any black dirt to my property to seed it, or something else, but it is far worth what I paid for.

I am on a strict budget due to chronic illness disability, and I feel like my hard-earned, and barely there money was wasted. It was also very difficult to get them to communicate with me throughout the entire project. They were nice enough, but the quality of work wasn't there.

I recently purchased a building on the same street as Carr's. I met Paul & John and they helped me remove a challenging stump from my property. Thank you, I really appreciated it! I paid for services with Carr for nearly 3 years. My services included mulch, trimming bushes, fertilizer and grass cutting. The team did good work. I'd referred friends and neighbors that continue to use them today. As my price increased nearly 52% (17% per year), being double charged for some services, and after my recent conversation with the owner, I realized, it's time for us to end our business relationship.

This is less a review about their service and more a review about their people. I was at the gas station moments ago, and two young Carr's employees were inside getting refreshments. These young men extended such wonderful courtesy to an elderly customer. Sometimes you figure out all you need to know about a business by the way the employees treat people. Look forward to trying lawn service in the future.

I don't ever give reviews but these guys moved me to do so. Carr's does an excellent job. They are responsive, helpful and take ownership in their work. Couldn't be happier with them.

Carr’s Lawn and Landscape did a beautiful job on our landscaping last summer. The design is stunning, and the plants are beautiful. We had a few not come back up this year, so I called to ask if there was a warranty on them. Within three days, they came to our house and re-planted new ones at no cost. Great, fast customer service! Highly recommend this company!

Did a great job getting my parents house mulched, weeded, and edged very quickly. Now they mow weekly and are always there weekly.

We had tried fixing up this flower bed last year after purchasing the house. The previous owners planted anything and everything they could fit. We had lilly of the valley overtaking the whole flower bed and the yard. Carr's came out and sprayed everything to kill it. After that, they dug it out, filled with dirt and added mulch. They did an excellent job and I've got compliments on it and there's no flowers in there yet.

I will use again if I ever need anything like this done. If I had to give them one suggestion, was their communication with the customer could use a little work. There was a minor misunderstanding but they made it right, so nothing against them. Just a suggestion for the future. Will recommend their service as my dad recommended them to me.

I am and have been very please with the quality of work Carr's provides. They always show up at my residence at about the same time each week which is nice when you have multiple little children running around. They always take good care of my hedges and landscaping. Never have anything to complain about. I would highly recommend them.

This company was doing the lawn work at the McDonalds on Lima road in Fort Wayne, IN. This McDonalds is always busy in the mornings. I was in an extreme rush, and when I tried to pull around and into the drive through lane, an employee of Carr's Lawn Service, holding a leaf blower, stood in my way, cutting me off and just stared at me.

Carr's Lawn Care has been maintaining our property for about a year. Service has been far better than what I have received from other companies in the past. I would recommend them to anyone.
